Went to get a test for covid and they ended up giving me the wrong test. Not only did they end up putting my friends and family at risk for giving me a false negative, but I had to front $240 because my insurance won’t cover the test they gave me. Whenever I go to confront them about it, they either tell me lies or say “we’ll work on it” well it’s been over a year and nothing has changed. Not only that but their wait times are always hours long for scheduled appointments. They also somehow manage to loss medical records. I couldn’t even get these people to fax documents without taking months. This place is a complete clown show, and I hope they go out of business. To the owners if they ever read this, I’ll see you in small claims court.

The nurse practitioner Deedee is unbelievably unprofessional. When I called to get my mothers information regarding her health as I am on the list to get the information her attitude was why dont you ask your mom. When I called back again she had the nerve to tell me information regarding Covid-19 was available on the cdc website and told me she was going off the cdc website as well. I asked if my mother could be retested since she had tested positive and she told me there was no reason for her too, she would be good after the 14 day quarantine. My mother decided to get retested after we begged her too (she didnt want too because deedee told her it was unnecessary) and it came back positive again( so glad she didnt listen to the incompetent dee dee). Deedee told me she wouldnt be contagious because she hasnt shown any symptoms. When my sister called back to get more information deedee told my sister that my mom was contagious and that she should continue to quarantine after she exposed a few family members. Giving false information and having an attitude could cost my family a family member. I understand that it is a difficult time but we are just trying to get information to keep our family safe and the way deedee has handled it is unbelievable. We are working to get our mother out of this clinic for this very reason that any time we have concerns deedee is rude, unreliable, and unprofessional. I am seeking legal action towards her and I suggest that if you go to this clinic be aware that the attitude you will receive will be one you wont forget by a healthcare unprofessional.

Fantastic clinic. The staff are incredibly helpful and understanding. We had to have covid-19 testing done so we could take the ferry from Bellingham to Alaska, and they were able to work us in right away. Not only that, when the ferry company continually changed its policies on testing, they worked with us every step of the way. Deedee and Dr. Koike, youre both life savers. We owe you more than youll ever know. Thanks for everything 😊

Been going here for 18+ years, since before they moved to this new location.Dr. Roy and Dr. Koike are great, and Dee Dee is awesome!I appreciate this office because the doctors take the time to listen to their patients and they do a great job diagnosing and treating issues while effectively addressing concerns. The doctors are both extremely knowledgeable and they have gone out of their way to get me in when I needed urgent-type care on multiple occasions.I saw some of the negative reviews and thought I should weigh in...

My husband and I are patients of Dr. Koike and we both like him a lot. He takes time to listen and doesnt talk down to you. He is very friendly and a good PCP. To those folks complaining about not being seen in an emergency -- this is a 2-doctor small clinic, not an ER. Most of the front office staff are great; there is one woman who seems standoffish, but I dont know her name. Overall, its a great, welcoming place for people who are looking for primary care.

Terrible medical care. The doctors are incompetent, and will only see new patients that are HEALTHY, if you have any medical history that they may need to read or medications that you need to maintain that is too complicated for these doctors they will turn you away. When I called them to make the appointment to establish a primary doctor, I told them I had an extensive medical history and I was looking for a primary physician to help me maintain a few medications. They told me that this would not be an issue. Yet when I actually arrived a week later for my appointment, they no longer could see anyone to maintain medications nor with any health issues as they said it was too complicated for them. Also, they talked to me about my medical history in the lobby rather than discussing and asking personal medical questions in a private area to avoid any HIPPA violations. Do not go here!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Roy for at least 18 yeas. We absolutely love them. They take time with their patients and listen to all your concerns. Dee dee always takes care of all the issues regarding lab work, refills etc.etc.Expect to wait a while to be seen since theres only one doctor at a time. But I dont mind the wait, they are great.

A women named Dee Dee called our locksmith office to service a mailbox lock, during the conversation, we informed her of a 19$ service call fee for our technician to arrive onsite to a business call today, and she acknowledged our fee (all of our calls are recorded for quality assurance) Once we arrived onsite, she did not like our solution to fix the issue, or the cost to do such, and when we asked for our service fee for our time and gas in coming out onsite, she refused to pay, our technician became offended and wasnt very happy about it. But left site without being paid for his time as agreed upon. He then called our office and let them know about the situation. Our dispatch team then called the office to ask for Mrs. Dee Dee and speak with her about what had happened. She was very rude and abrasive to our dispatch team. Had no concept of customer service when dealing with another business. She refused to pay us our 19$ service fee and every time we tried to play the recording of her acknowledging the fee and still agreeing to have us come out, she would hang up the phone before we could play the recording for her. Then when we called her back she threatened to get us for harassment because we were calling a business. HOWEVER!, DEE DEE, WE ARE ALSO A BUSINESS, and You as well called a business and ordered a service, with an agreement to pay us for our time and travel in coming to you, and then after we did such, you refused to pay us. Which in my opinion makes Dee Dee, unethical, lacking in integrity, and loathsome. I would advise any service technicians to NOT do business with Sunrise Family Medical Care and let them do the work for FREE themselves since they do not like to pay for another businesses time and gas and efforts in helping. I hope the sunrise staff can use this feedback to get a better handle on the way they interact with other businesses who they call for help in the future. Or possibly realize the unethical behavior of the people they have working for them. Have a great weekend Sunrise!

My husband had an accident with a screwgun. Mayo Clinic states that if you have a puncture wound and it has been five years since your tetanus shot you should be immunized. His union encourages the guys to go to Sunrise Medical Clinic and the office in Everett is close. They cleaned and dressed the wound site and gave him a tetanus shot. Dr Koike and staff are a great place to go and we appreciated the treatment for this emergency.

I have medical insurance, but dont have my card. I know my info from my card and asked if i gave them the info along with my id could they look up my info. I was told NO. So I asked about cash pay and was told since I have insurance they couldnt take my money. I have 2 bulging disk in my lower back and when I was getting my son out of his car seat, I twisted wrong and now im in really bad pain. They told me I would my card for them to see me. They told me to call the insurance company and get a new card ( already doing that) but doesnt help now. How could if you access to look up the information not look it up? Never will go to place

Not a highly professional setting, the doctor who treated me was foriegn and nearly impossible to understand. Their handle of insurance and other matters makes a person nervous. Everyone was kind but not the best doctor to visit.

Ive been a Patient of Dr Roys for many years. If your looking for someone who takes their time, cares about their patients, and really listens, than you have found the right clinic. Dr Koike is the other Primary Care Physician that works at Sunrise and he practices exactly the same way as Dr. Roy.Dont expect to be seen right away, this is a small price you pay for Doctors that give their patients the type of care we expect, yet rarely get anymore. I guess you could call Dr Roy and Dr. Koike Old School !When a referral or records need to be faxed to a specialist, Dede the office manager has always been on top of it and got it done in a timely manner.

Been a patient for years. The wait time has always been long. The last visit I had was horrible. I had to call back the doctor and go to the pharmacy three times before I got my blood pressure meds. I gave the receptionist a new insurance card. They billed the old insurance then had me call billing to fix it. Do your health a favor go somewhere else.

Both doctors at Sunrise take the time and listen to your concerns. Care for their patients, like they should. You dont get this kind of care now a days.
