I have been going to Diamond Veterinary since 2008 and am so impressed with their kind, caring and professional care of Pets and Pet Parents. Even through the pandemic, they created a system where my pup can be seen and cared for. We were at emergency 2 days ago and they didn’t have room but took her in anyway. they were all very kind with my worried phone calls, explaining when she would be seen, what has happened so far and cost estimate.I picked up my pup the next morning with all the meds and instructions I needed and a much happier dog! thanks so much. I couldn’t imagine taking pippin anywhere else! Your entire staff is awesome!

My dog was attack by another big dog and diamond vet hospital was able to take him in the same day (although they are usually fully booked out as most vets are). Staff were very friendly and thorough with explanations. I felt my dog was in very good hands.

This place has the right name because it will cost you a handful of precious diamonds to have your pet treated here. I had to bring my cat for an emergency they wanted $1200, so they brought it down to $565 and I had to hand them cash at the front door due to covid restrictions, no receipt. Get pet insurance

My pup got sick on the middle of the night. And was becoming dehydrated. I called three different EDs and they all turned me away without even triage. Called here, and they told me over the phone it was going to be a 4-6 hour wait, but they would see us. Check in process was smooth. While we waited, as she continues to be sick a d was getting more dehydrated, I got nervous in the car. They sent someone out to assess her and reassure me she could continue to wait which made me feel so better (and they were right, she was safe to wait). When it was our turn, I was not rushed. Was able to ask questions and make suggestions about plan of care. The interventions they did had my pup feeling so much better. And they meds they gave me to go home with have continued her recovery. I wasnt pushed into any extras, and pricing was reasonable for urgent care. Overall very professional. Would go back even though its a drive. Hazel is doing so well now.

Recently my cat, Jasper, became ill on a Sunday evening. In trying to find a place all over the region to have a look at him, I have to give my thanks to Amanda and Dr. Mullins. Amanda was extremely patient and informative in answering all my questions on the phone and being able to let me know what the procedure was to bring him in. I appreciate so much both of their patience and help, and especially for the care they were able to provide for Jasper at the end. I know how busy they must have been and so I cant express enough how much I appreciate how patient and helpful they were. I cant imagine how difficult it must be to be in such distressing and stressful situations so often in the line of work that you all do, and so I just wanted to express my gratitude for being there for all of us and helping care for our furry friends. I got home from work at eleven o’clock at night, to find my cat lying on the floor very unwell, unable to move or lift her head, I called them and was in tears as she didn’t look like she was going to make it. They told me to bring her right in. I took her straight there, as I got there, she passed in my arms. The lady who took care of myself and my cat was so lovely, but I was such a mess, I didn’t catch her name. She was kind, caring, professional, empathetic and gentle. She didn’t rush me at all, gave me privacy and all the time I wanted to take to send off my cat. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness and care.

I’ve been taking my dogs here since I moved to Everett 5 years ago. This is an amazing organization and I’ve always been satisfied with our care. Tonight I brought in my dog Max and they took such good care of him and are not just about making a buck. They really do care about our pets that are like family. This is the place to take your pets in Everett for sure.

Our dog was having some scary issues with his stomach and every vet from every county around us was booked in the middle of the night. Luckily for us diamond takes people based on the situation and although they were an hour away, they could get our kiddo in. They took great care of him and diagnosed him with gastritis. Its been a week and a half and he is back to his normal self with the great care they gave him. We couldnt be happier with their friendliness and their thoughtfulness to us and our pup.

I want to sincerely thank Dr. Hannah for the very kind and sweet personal message of condolences after we had to let our little Boo go. Even though it was a really tough time our experience with Diamond Veterinary Hospital was the best we could have had. All the doctors and staff were so kind and patient with us, and gave our cat the best care in his last night. Thank you.

This place is such a rip off. If you are truly love your pets take them somewhere else. Im sad that they only care about your money but not your pet. They will never get any star from me. Reason they got one star cuz website wont let me post it with zero star.

I took my very old cat here yesterday to be put to sleep and the staff was absolutely amazing. They were all so kind and understanding. No other vet was able to help me because they were booked out but Diamond told me to just show up and they would make it happen. Very grateful for you guys!

We felt very well cared for and received great advice and referrals to emergency specialists to care for our very special Retriever and family member. Thank you for getting us in quickly on a holiday and for making the call to get us seen by an outstanding specialist to provide the emergent care we needed - Dr. Langoni conferred and arranged an expeditious handoff and they have been fantastic in providing special care!!

We brought our new kitten in to be seen and were very impressed with the level of care she received. The doctor took the time to explain her findings and what to expect very throughly. It’s quite obvious that they really do care about each individual pet that comes through their doors.

Called at 7:30 at night to see if I could get my dog in who had been attacked by another dog and needed stiches for a gash in his side. Before anyone even answered the phone there was a rather long lecture on how to talk to the staff. Finally a woman answered so I asked if it was possible to bring my dog in, told her why and got another lecture on making sure to always call to make sure they arent full. Why the heck did she think I was calling in the first place??? Didnt really want to take my dog to them and after that wouldnt have taken my dog in even if she hadnt of informed me that they were full. Plus the last time they had treated another animal of mine and on that visit they basically told me that it was my fault. Come to find my cat had Calicivirus but they wouldnt even do any testing because I had a cough drop that smelled strongly so in their minds my cat was sick because of essential oils. Their unwillingness to test my cat almost killed her. Wouldnt have even called for my dog except for the fact that the other emergency vet didnt have a vet in. Will never go there again. Dont need to be lectured by the staff or deal with sub-par treatment.

I had to put my dog down on a holiday, and Diamond was one of the few places that were open. All of the staff seemed very compassionate, and made it easy as possible in our time of need. Thank you Staff at Diamond for your help. My boy is in a better place now.

We had a middle aged black lab, he suddenly developed cancer.We called Diamond Veterinary Hospital to bring him in.Bo our beloved black lab, was treated very humanely, considering his pain levels and aggression. We were completely heart broken as we had to put him down.Ive never had to put a animal to sleep before, Staff was so caring and let us take our time.We are forever grateful for the kindness and compassion, our animals are family forever

Very nice staff and very caring. Anytime something happens with one of the kitties we try our vet but usually theres no openings so always go to diamond. There will be a wait time and you are going to need to be patient but your pet will get the help they need.

If you have a pet and the local area isn’t inundated with veterinary emergencies, this is a _reliable and knowledgeable_ place.Having waited overnight to find a suitable practice that wouldn’t immediately crate/ kennel my best friend until they were able to practice medicine on her was a great relief. There was luck involved, but a lot of knowledge among the staff. And caring.Hopefully you won’t need an emergency vet but if you do, Diamond is worth a try.

I was very appalled with the service I received yesterday evening at Diamond Veterinary Hospital.Wait time - I understand that there is emergencies that need to be triaged first; however, waiting almost 6 hours without any treatment for my animal is unacceptable. Especially, when I was the only customer waiting in the parking lot for a good portion of those hours.Service - When the vet called me it was clear there was little regard to my pets diagnoses. The vet listed off everything under the sun at a rapid pace and scattered thoughts that I became very concerned of the vets scope and capabilities. The vet continued to rattled off every possible diagnosis in rapid succession almost like reading off WebMD and then gave no guidance on a diagnosis, treatment or the acute severity of my pets condition.Cost - Then I was told they could always do self care and hydration for $400 or an x-ray and blood test on my 10 lb dog for $1200. I already lost all confidence in the vets skills and abilities prior to hearing this costing. My husband and I agreed to leave after the 6 hours with no care for our animal and head to the Pet Emergency Center in Mount Vernon where they quoted us on the phone $400 for x-ray and diagnostics and assured quality care.After my experience, I read recent Google reviews for your company that almost mirror my experience. Note, not just one review but many, extensive reviews.I truly hope, my feedback helps improve your business and saves future pet lives.

Good place, 24 hours but now they make you sit in your car. They literally told me if i come in for emergency i would have to wait 4 hours with my cat in the car. I live 2 minutes away, but they said i could not go home while i wait. Had to drive all the way to Lynnwood where i could drop off, and despite the distance this was more convenient and faster.

I took my cat here recently for an emergency late at night. While it is terrible for any animal to have to experience a life threatening emergency and as stressful and scary as it is for the pet owner, the staff here at Diamond Vet Hospital handled the situation with excellence. My cat ended up needing emergency surgery and it was one of the scariest nights of my life but she was in good hands. I highly recommend this animal hospital especially for an emergency situation. The staff was so kind and communicative. They understood it was a highly stressful situation for me and helped me figure out how to finance the procedure, explaining my options and how to go about it. They took great care of my cat and have quickly been able to return my calls when I have a question or concern. They saved my kittens life.

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff of the Diamond Veterinary Hospital. A couple of weeks ago, our dog Sky was experiencing diabetic ketoacidosis and in dire straights. We spoke with multiple staff members and veterinarians over Skys 2+ days at Diamond. The communication was simply outstanding. Our dogs are our family. I would not hesitate trusting Diamond with the care of any of my dogs.

Took our dog here while coming out of anaphylactic shock, they proceeded to tell us she was acting normal and probably Ingested some pot(literally went from playing to lifeless in a 10 minute span while out camping) and said it would be 6+ hours til she saw a doctor so we took her home. Come 5am I’m noticing my dogs face is extremely swollen and she is noticeably in pain/uncomfortable so we take her to a local vet in Seattle (Seattle Vet Specialist) where they treat her for an allergic reaction to a sting or bite. The only reason I am leaving this review is in hopes that the vet techs here will be more thorough next time and someone’s else’s baby won’t have to go through what ours did that night. We’re lucky to still have her. Please do better.

I had scheduled and appointment over a week prior to have 5 staples removed from my dogs ear. I had received multiple text messages reminding me of my “scheduled appointment” and telling me to arrive ten minutes early to check in. Upon arrival I was put on hold for over 20 minutes and then hung up and called back and was told they forgot I was on hold. She then began telling me that they were squeezing me in so there could be a wait. I then told her that I had a scheduled appointment and she said it’s not an actual appointment because they are pretty booked out so the doctor is just going to squeeze me in when they can. I ended up having to take out the staples myself so unless you want to deal with the unprofessional service I received I would recommend going to a different place!

My son died here in 2016. It was so hard and I never got over the feeling. The Diamond team was up against emotional odds but kept there professional composure. I stayed away from Diamond because the memories hurt so much. But yesterday tragedy stuck us again. Now my little baby girl of almost eleven years is dying, Her heart has given what it could, Now I have to decide when. Doctor Modjeski and her team could not even breathe, they were that busy for a Friday all day yesterday. But the doctor and her team took my baby after her heart had stopped in the parking lot. The doctor has been so gentle and the staff has guided me in a way that I could never imagine. I am an asperburgers patient and seizures were on my plate as well yesterday.If there is ever a moment in time that you needed someone, I did and Dr. Modjeski and her loving staff were there all the way even into Saturday calling and checking. My little girl is dying it is her time to go. Diamond will guide her when the time is right.

They are always so kind and compassionate.For emergencies they really are wonderful.

Second Review:Ive been bringing my pets to Diamond for 40+ years. I think very highly of the vets whove cared for my babies, in particular, Dr. Zakos, and Dr. Hannah (now retired.) I never thought Id see the day that I would be leaving a bad review for this clinic... But I would be failing all of you if I wasnt honest with what Ive experienced. I recently brought my little ShihTzu in. Just needed to pick up a refill on his thyroid medication and have one of the techs administer his usual Cytopoint injection. I know Im paying more doing this here than virtually ANY OTHER clinic in this county, but I crunched the numbers and sacrificed. I expected to pay about $100 on the high end. I was charged $150. To say I was upset doesnt even come close. You see, Diamond may not have told you this, but they are going to charge you almost $50 on your bill for what they call a medical progress exam by a vet. They arent going to TELL you, theyre just going to DO it. Even if you need that $50 to EAT that month, they are not going to remove it from your bill. I did not need my dog to be seen by a vet. In fact, my dog was NOT seen by a vet. I had to pretend he was, and pay for it. Im sad to say that Diamonds policies do not reflect a clinic that cares about us or our pets. All Im seeing from them is cold hard greed. Ive sent a message to them regarding this and got no reply. Im looking for a new clinic.First Review:Ive been bringing my furbabies to Diamond Veterinary for over 40 years for a reason: I trust them. The care they receive from everyone at Diamond Vet is second to none. Other reviewers may argue that Diamond Vet is too costly. I counter that argument with the fact that this medical office works hard to have all of the latest technology your furbaby could need on site. (Those things arent cheap.) Dr. Zakos and Dr. Zastrow are phenomenally skilled professionals, and I always try to book with them (although Ive no doubt that all the vets on staff are wonderful!) Diamond Veterinary is able to help you with all aspects of your pets care, no matter how complicated. Also, Diamond Vet has the only 24-hour emergency clinic thats open 24/7, even during holidays. This is a very secure building. I highly recommend them. I wont take my pets anywhere else.

Aside from having to wait almost 5 hours in my car, this place was fantastic! The vet was very thorough with my dog, gave great advice and care, the office did a follow up via text the next day and gave more advice and the bill was less $ than I anticipated. Dr. Modjeski and all the staff that answered my questions over the phone were professional and helpful!

She kept saying shes just an old dog gees how horrible it still makes me 😢 the way I was treated and my best friend who died and saying you can go ya paid and wouldnt tell me what was wrong cause I wouldnt do Test cause she was dieing so we dont have to tell you whats wrong we want money. In Response to your comment (which the owner has now deleted): I believe you are looking at our cat that was put to sleep in 2017. My dog is fully up to date on his vaccinations and has been in multiple times a year for the last 9 years. In fact I have records showing my dog Mack most recently was in to get his shots as well as a new prescription of Apoquel on February 15th 2021. This is the type of service I’m talking about. You can’t even see I was just in for a recent vet visit. I didn’t know I could be more disappointed. Also I just came in a few days ago because my dog had refills of antibiotics that you wouldn’t acknowledge then randomly refilled after telling me your couldn’t. Such a joke.I have been taking my animals here for 9+ years. I used to really trust Diamond and felt like they cared. Unfortunately the level of service and care has significantly decreased. I will no longer be coming back. They refuse to refill prescriptions without a vet consultation. They are months out for appointments. My dog has been on the same medications for 8 years. They tell me I can get in sooner by making an emergency visit however the wait times are 6-8 hours. The staff is very on edge and seem rude on the phone. I don’t know if they are overwhelmed or understaffed but something has changed. Looking at the recent reviews it seems I’m not alone. It’s sad that we now have to find a new vet after all this time but I no longer feel comfortable coming to Diamond.

I informed them my amstaff had pneumonia. I told them the situation and how much money I had. Having respiratory issues, they said bring him in. Understand I told them what I had. The complete treatment of diagnosis for causes and treatment was 3,000 to 3,600. We gave permission for all fees so dont think Im saying they got me, but, all day, we got an anti-vomiting shot and a script for the antibiotics, after every pharmacy has closed. So, every cent gone, $206.50 later. A shot to not puke and a diagnosis that I gave them, and a $20 prescription that I now, cant afford. Thanks guys. Bang up job.

My cat who was precious to me got poisoned. It was a difficult situation in the end all was good. But I did have to put my cat down. It was a very sad and troubling experience. As for the veterinary hospital they are top notch. I did not give them 5 stars because I thought they were expensive...however all vets are expensive so technically they are five stars. I was grieving the lost of my beloved family member was not expecting a 500 bill just to put them down. It is what is is. Again this is proably standard fee for most vets. As for this place outstanding service even during the middle of a pandemic their parking lot was packed. Which means they have a lot of customers that trust them with their beloved family members.

The entire staff was very compassionate. They took loving, gentle care of our Sweet Ellie Kitty, in what turned out to be her final hours. I know in my heart that they did everything they could for her, including CPR.

I took my cat here as it was 24 hours and we had a grooming accident which I accidentally cut off some of her skin. I felt so bad, and rushed to the closest place possible. In the midst of panicking, the receptionist Chris was helping me calm down and he was so nice since I didn’t know what to do, and was freaking out. We did end up waiting about 5 hours, which is very fair since we did see a lot of patients waiting with greater urgency of injury/illness than my cat, I would want them to help the others first too if it was a matter of life and death. Doctor and staff was kind enough to thoroughly explain all my options, and let me know the pricings as well before they started the treatment. I will give it 4 stars though due to the pricing being a little on the hefty side, but they didn’t shame me for opting out on further treatment (maybe because I was a college student heh). Overall I’m glad I took my cat to this clinic to get her checked out because they not only helped my cat, but my emotional state as well!

The worst place I have ever been to. A 6 hour wait is ridiculous. Rushed my husky down here with serious issues for them to have me waiting. You people need to get it together. No one is going to wait 6 hours. A doctor can perform brain surgery quicker than that. If your going to be open you need to have the staff to perform. No wonder you have so many bad reviews.

We are a family that has 4 dogs and 2 cats that are patients of Dr Zackos and Dr Zastrow. Earlier this year 2 of our senior pets were diagnosed with different types of cancers and the vets and staff at Diamond saved their lives. We are incredibly grateful for the care our animals receive and the urgency that the doctors acted with to treat our dogs during a highly emotional time for my wife and me. Weve been going to them for 6 years consistently and theyve always had wonderful front and back office staff as well as caring and professional vets.

I am very impressed by the kindness of this veterinary hospital. Last month I had an emergency. My 15 year old Pomeranian Cuddles had not been doing well and she was not eating. I think she aspirated some liquid medication meant to stimulate her appetite and she quit breathing. I rushed her to this vet and they put a little breathing tube in her and tried dog CPR. Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do, Cuddles didnt make it. It was very upsetting but they were very understanding and comforting. They told me there would be no charge for what had happened. Several days later they even sent me a hand written card with their condolences. I really appreciate their kindness and dedication to the animals they treat and their caring and compassion for people bringing their pets in.

The veterinary assistant was wonderful and showed so much compassion.I had a very poor experience the year before with Diamond veterinary when I needed emergency help. I was very disappointed! This past March when we had to bring our beloved fur family member in for emergency care. I was hesitant to take him into Diamond but my concerned for our cats health needed immediate attention ; which Diamond could provide at that time.This time around, we had a very good experience. I can say Diamond Veterinary Hospital redeemed themselves by providing exceptional service, care, compassion, respect & patience. They will charge an absurd amount of money from people in an emergency.. they dont care about your pets.. they just want your money..Not including the $125 office visit, the $1100 they wanted for just blood tests and an abdomen xray would have shown nothing. My dog just had an upset belly.. I will never bring my dog here again and will not ever recommend thier greedy agenda. Sickens me to know vets are becoming so money hungry.

I no longer live in the area but because I have such a high level of trust in you I now take the ferry and and hour commute just so that my dog continues to be cared for by such great people.

Dr, Zakos is a knowledgeable, caring and an absolutely wonderful Veterinarian doctor. We trust her implicitly with our dog. I would highly recommend Dr. Zakos as well as Diamond clinic. We would not take our pet anywhere else. Thank you!

I brought my pet in to this emergency hospital at 7:00 pm due to her breathing heavily. Almost two hours later they called me to discuss billing before proceeding. During that time period we had sent all records to this hospital and called the receptionist numerous times to tell the doctor. They never looked and called back several times asking for her history and I explained everytime that i sent the records. Unfortunately my beloved pet died and although I cant say it would not have happened, but i believe that their lack of urgency and ignorance to informing their staff about medical records could have perhaps changed this tragedy. Afterwards they had me wait for 49 minutes before I could see my dog and I had to asked the same receptionist what was going on to finally see her. Bring your pet elsewhere for emergencies as this clinic did not show compassion and my experience was that the staff was lazy and put money over care. I had plenty of money and it should have been discussed immediately. Rest in peace Umi, I am at fault ultimately.

I was very happy with Diamond Veterinary Clinic. Really grateful they are open all night. They were really busy, but they got to my cat way later in the day. He was able to come home that night. If we have more problems, Ill definitely be going to Diamond again!

No matter how busy, they get your pet comfortable until the vet can see them. Seem to really care about animals health. Responsive and supportive in aftercare. Great for an emergency situation.

Actually its 4.5 stars. Only slight issue was with the original contact stating we have a 3 to 4 hour wait at which time we were to drive there to get a parking spot and then wait the 3-4 hours. However, when we indicated that our dog was in need of immediate medical treatment due to his current state, we were pished right through. Everyone was great and talked with us frequently to update us on his progress. The diagnosis was hard to access but we were prepared to pay huge amounts if we could save his life. He is a member of our family. Unfortunately, he passed away with complications to the medication and how sick he really was. In the end, everyone was amazing and definitely recommended for at least the 24 hour emergency services. Thank you.

If youre using emergency, Id recommend calling in advance because it may be hours before youre seen. I filled out my dogs paperwork for emergency, and as a new patient but since we didnt go to emergency that same day, we had to fill out that exact same paperwork again.

The staff at Diamond are so professional and caring. It was extremely busy with emergencies last night when we brought our kitty in for excessive vomiting. Although it was hours before she could be examined, they made her comfy and deemed her stable enough to wait a bit. Turns out she was constipated after all tests and xrays. The staff explained everything including possible treatments very clearly.As we were waiting, a couple brought their gravely injured cat to the door. The tech didnt turn them away. Instead I believe that she admitted the kitty. That really demonstrates such caring by this clinic.We are fortunate to have this facility so close to us. I hope we dont have any more pet emergencies. If we do, we wont hesitate to use Diamond again.

4 hour wait and still didnt see a doctor. Then an extremely estimated cost even though the doctor did not see him. Poor puppy is still bleeding through him bandages. They got 2 food deliveries. While my dog was suffering. All alone. Without company. And they did not contact me once.

Had to bring r 15 yr old pomeranian to vet, the staff were very professional and very caring. We Had to make the ultimate decision. The staff gave us plenty of time to say r goodbyes. Thank you Diamond Vet staff!

They were very sympathic and patient with me When I had to bring my sweet Milkshake in at 2am and had to let her go. They knew I came in with no money on me they were understanding that I would have to come back to take care of the payment

They are very thorough. The wait was a bit long, but she was taken good care of.

Amazing people that made my dog feel comfortable during his time there. So kind to my dog and I, you can tell that Katee and Annabelle (the lovely women that helped my dog) value their job and truly love animals. Very reasonable prices, I’d definitely go back time and time again.

It was a little expensive didnt give me up to date on what was going on and what this whole new covid stuff going on you cant even really go inside the building

We had to put our dog down today, and the vet who helped us put her down was PHENOMENAL! She made the whole situation a whole lot better than what we expected from our last dog. I don’t know if we’ll have another dog to need these services, but if we do, we hope we get someone like her. The one issue I had was that they wouldn’t let us come in with our dog initially because of Covid. Covid or not, that was pretty silly when we all came right in afterwards. Five minutes of scaring my dog keeps the germs away, I guess.

The staff at Diamond have been wonderful to me and my family. Our dogs are important to them and they have done everything possible to give them good lives and gentle passing. I can never thank them enough.

Thank you for being open on a Sunday and providing top notch emergency care for Henry, our six weeks puppy. He was real hurt and needed an experience veterinarian team. He was bleeding internally and had to be put on oxygen. I am mind boggled by the care my puppy and I received. You guys rock and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Henry is back home today almost back to normal after a life threatening accident yesterday. We are so lucky and thankful.

Had our family pet put to sleep here. The staff was very professional and supportive of us during this hard time.

We love Diamond Vet! A few nights ago we had to take our kitten in because she was having digestion issues and not acting herself so we were very worried. When we arrived the staff was so amazing and so helpful! They had told us Lily (our kitten) was doing really good for them and it made me feel a lot better that she was comfortable with the doctor. They were so helpful in providing us care and working with us when it came to the payment! It’s a few days later and Lily is back to her playful self, eating right, and is having no more stomach problems! We will definitely be making Diamond Vet our permanent veterinarian!

I took my dog here for an emergency and they were so kind to me and my pup. They always answered my calls and questions and really made me feel like my dog was in the best hands.

We will miss DR.HANNA..BUT HAPPY FOR HIM TO BE ABLE TO RELAX AND ENJOY RETIREMENT.. He was our VET for 20 plus years.. But have had great care from other vets as well.. we will continue with Diamond.. THANK YOU FOR THE CARE OUR PUGS HAVE RECIEVED

Bit more expensive than other places ive looked for spading but appreciate the extra care and attention my dog was given. I Believe it was a Tyler who gave me all the information i needed and put my mind at ease. And when i returned home and lost my medication frequency note for mississippi Tracey was curious and helpful with clarifying my error. Took my dog because he coughing, not eating and possibly had something in his throat. Picked up after three hours because they still hadnt checkout him out. And they wanted 400 just for a x-ray

I had been a customer of Diamond Vet for 17 years. Weve brought both our dogs and our cats to them. The past year, as we got a new puppy, I have found them to be apathetic and lacking kindness and compassion. I had an emergency and the first thing I was told that I could get an appointment in six weeks. I went to the Internet and got more help and information about what might be going on than I did from them. This is the third time I have felt this disinterest in what was going on with my pet. I suspect the last time led to my dog dying (she had a tumor, but we kept being told she just needed to lose weight. The weight was the tumor, not discovered until she was dying. I have recommended them for years, but now am searching for another vet. Personally, I wouldnt take a gerbil to them, now.

I brought my cat here because he had cystitis and i was unable to bring him in to my regular vet because they didn’t have any open appointments until 5 days later. I brought him in here, and the vets were unable to give a proper diagnosis because they needed a urinalysis. I agreed to do a urinalysis, but not to hospitalization. The doctor told me i would receive antibiotics, and 2 kinds of pain killers to help him with the pain. Instead of antibiotics, i received buprenorphine, which is just liquid opium, anxiety pills, and more pain killers. When i called and asked why I didn’t receive what i was told I would be getting, i was told that its because they don’t use antibiotics for things like this, and even if they were to, since they didn’t know exactly what was wrong without a urinalysis, it might not help anyways. Thats understandable, but im upset about the fact that i was told that i would receive antibiotics, and was given some random pain killer/opioid as a substitute without even being told about it. They gave me half of a pill bottle of non-absorbent litter, which wasn’t even enough to cover 1/3 of the bottom of my litterbox. All in all, i spent about 600$, i did not receive what i was told i would receive, and i brought my cat into my normal vet the following monday to find out that his condition is simply hereditary and can be fixed with a simple diet change. Not the use of pain killers, opium, or anxiety medicine. He is now on prescribed diet wet food, and happy as ever. If you are having problems with your animals do not come here. They try to squeeze as much out of your pockets as they can. I would recommend taking your animal to northpointe animal hospital in lynnwood instead, much better customer service and they also genuinely seem to love animals and helping them, while also helping you. Unlike diamond vet, if you are unable to pay right away they have options for payment plans. Diamond does not allow you to make payment plans, and instead you would have to go through a 3rd party credit company. All in all i would never bring any of my animals back to this vet and I hope people see this review and go to a different veterinary hospital

Diamond vetrinary i have nothing but good things to say about the greatly appreciated nice , concerned, prompt, and professional staff that are there in the early evening hours. And im sure the same goes for all the staff that work there. My poor cat thag we loved like our child was suffering and it was tearing us up. We called several places before we finally found this 24 hr vet hospital. They were very kind oved the phone and when we got there they were waiting at the door. Four of them actually and they gently rushed our kitty inside and did what was necessarry promptly. But most of all they treated our cat very nice and genle. Ghey were genuinely concerned for our cat and us too. And they got her out of pain. I recommend them to everyone. THANK YOU DIAMOND VETRINARY!!!!!!!

I work on boats my dog was gravely injured and nobody picked up a phone to call me. My dog sat there for hours. He got to the vet at 1030am I couldnt get there until 530pm. They told my parents they could help him so they took a payment of almost 7k. My parents were told they would do something! Nope nothin. I finally was told and called at 3pm. The vet could not be straight up with me or give me straight answers. I would never go to this Vet again!!If you want to spend a ton of money and roll the dice on the results go to Diamond Veterinary Hospital. They will just give you fluff.I had to put my dog down. I finally got them to answer my questions! So my dog had to suffer for almost 8 hours when he didnt have to!

Long story short: if we had followed the advice given us here (which we paid about $500 to receive) our kitty would either be unable to feed her kittens and recovering from surgery or DEAD right now. And we would be bottle feeding kittens around the clock. Our cat and kittens are doing fine after going AGAINST their advice.I wish I could write 10 1-star reviews. After our experience (which I will recount shortly), when telling our friends about it, a very common thing to hear was oh, NOT Diamond!This is the worst possible place to take your animal . It has the lowest rating out of any vet in the area.Our cat had kittens the other day, and after they were born the momma was panting quite a bit. My mom called in here, to see if this was normal or not, or if she should be concerned. Their immediate response was to say Bring them in. So my mom and sisters took them, momma and newborn kittens on the 45 minute drive to this place. Keep in mind it was after 10 pm, so there werent many options.Once they got there, they were stuck in a room by themselves and the cats were taken back and subjected to different tests that were adding up quickly in price. The cats were NOT in the room with them, even in between the different tests. They were kept in the back with all the other animals. The staff were rude and impolite. The doctor would come in, and say what needed to be done, and then leave, and then a financial advisor would come in and tell them the price. Im pretty sure they do this on purpose to get you to pay for unnecessary procedures for your pet. The doctor and the financial advisor would never come in at the same time.There was lots and lots of waiting, and nobody would tell them anything except new things the cat needed done to find out what was wrong. Eventually one lady did an ultrasound on the cat. She wasnt normally used to doing ultrasounds so she didnt charge. But based on what she saw (she also sent the video to her friend who breeds cats) she determined that the cat needed an emergency spay ($3,000) since she had some fluid in the her uterus ( not enough to get a sample of), which indicated a ruptured uterus. The other options they suggested were to either put her down (much less expensive than an emergency spay!) And bottle feed the kittens, or give her and the kittens to a shelter.We went against their advice (they made us sign papers saying we knew we were going against their advice and brought our cat home to die (they made us think). We put momma and her kittens back in their old spot and immediately she calmed down and started purring. The next morning she was FINE, up and using the litter box, eating, drinking, nursing her kittens. Its been a week and she and her kittens are doing amazing well. I shudder to think of what wouldve happened if we followed their advice!!!!!Never take your animals here. Most likely theyll do more harm than good. Lesson learned.Edit to reply to reply from Diamond:Thanks for wanting to follow up, I appreciate it. My mom (Jennifer Matson) is the one who brought the cats in, if you want to follow up it would be fine to give her a call. The momma cat and kittens are still thriving.For those who may be curious, we never received a follow up call.

Our cat got sick unexpectedly and no vet in the area would take a new patient/client because apparently Covid is causing vets to be busy as well. This place is open 24/7 so we showed up at 5 or 6 in the morning and they took our cat no problem. The doctors were able to identify that Olive was suffering from pancreatitis and got us situated with pain meds and food that would be easy on her GI tract. She was in a lot of pain and needed their help, Im so glad this place exists.Thank you to Dr. Modjeski and her team; Olive is doing much better today.(Be warned though, its a bit expensive - which makes sense since they are open 24/7 and do lab work and imaging in house.)
