Apparently your online appointment is only a reservation and not a actual appointment. Be prepared for a rude employee to call and change to their convenience. Even if you have made your appointment weeks ago. Never had a good experience here. I end up driving to mount vernon location for better service

While I can say they have treated my pets well, there customer service and medication prices are not reasonable. My dogs ear drops are 37.00 through chewy.com and Banfield charges 67.00 for the exact same medication!!

My fiance scheduled our dog for a Bordatella vaccine and a symparica refill. he was a little late in getting the Bordatella, so she just ordered that. It was supposed to be a drop off appointment, and I would come pick him up on my lunchbreak. So not only did they not have him down for a drop off, but they also gave him 2 other vaccines that he wasnt due for yet. Absolutely furious. This is the 2nd banfield that has screwed up like this, and with this, were STILL stuck with the monthly payment plan that weve been trying to get rid of.

The staff rushed processing of our pets. They noted issues with pets in documentation, but didnt mention it or take time to discuss issues with me while there. (Only learned about issue once I got home and was able read the paperwork.) Additionally, on form they requested that I take time to fill out, I told them i wanted to renew a prescription, but they simply did not read the form and did not fill it. When I called Banfield back, after getting home from their appointment, they told me to just find a place online to order the medication, but didnt offer to mail or send me a copy of their prescriptionsWould not recommend if you want a vet that actually cares about your pet.

My 13 yr old Yorky-Poo has been a client at Banfields his entire life. Its helpful that there are multiple locations he can go to, if needed. I will say that its time they open a clinic in Marysville WA as the traffic south can be pretty rough and takes 30 plus minutes to return. Next one north is 30 minutes away also.

Please give me a chance to give you guys ZERO star. the worst service ever. I have been with Banfield for 8 years, different locations such as Austin TX, Bellevue WA, Kirkland WA, and this location at Everett. I have never had any issue with other locations. i used this locations 2 times, and both times, they made me very mad. Here is what happened last time I visited this location: First, they were supposed to give me information about my dogs sickness the day he got visited and they didnt. The day after, i called them to ask for missing information, they put me on HOLD, and it was ok, i understand the busy time. But, i wait for 10 mins. Then i called them again and she asked to put me on hold again. i was ok second time too but i asked please make it brief cos this is my second time. and, she said sure. Then i wait another 10 mins. Finally i called them and asked for their manage when i was very mad. Instead of her apologizing me for putting me on hold for long time and not giving me the needed information at first, she disconnected me cos she said i was yelling. I have never have this issue before in 8 years, if I am yelling after 8 years of being calm, there might be a serious reason for that. and, i call her again, she said if i am not happy with this location, I can go to another location in Mill Creek. She said we are so busy. I didnt expect a manager would say such things. This is a very BAD excuse. i have been working as a Fiber engineer for 5 years and never tell my manager that I am so busy that is why I couldnt finish my task. Because I am thinking, if I am busy, i need to speak up and ask for help. so, if you guys are busy, instead of making your clients mad after using 8 years of your service, Just SPEAK UP AND ASK FOR HELP. There was a reason for being with vet since my dog was just 3 weeks. The reason is to have enough support and help from the vet for the time my dog gets OLD. and now my dog is 8 years old, and there we go, this is how we got treated.

Didnt listen to my concern about my dog. Brought her in for a skin tag, they told me they couldnt find it its black against white fur on her face.. Once I was able to get her, I asked if they found the skin tag they replied with no and I had to show them where it was. After showing the vet tech, she then asked to take pictures then took my dog back to the back to show the doctor the skin tag at this point my dog was done, anxiety was super high and she just wanted to go home. If someone brings there animal in for something make sure that concern(s) are top priority. This place use to be a 5 star hospital, now its a 1 star. Been with them for 7 years and Im possibly looking for a new veteran for my dog.

Very disappointed with this location and the doctor. I came in to see a vet for our Chihuahua on 7/2 with a rash on his head, left with no prescribed medications, doctor wanted to perform a ringworm test before she would prescribe, we were ok with that. Finally, I called them because they failed to update the phone number, asking them to give us a medication for him because he is still itching and they wants me to schedule another visit to see him again. This place is just to make money of of you, not interesting to care about your animals. If I can give them a zero rating I would. I would not recommend this place at all.

The staff are bullies and I will not go back to the Everett location!Banfield heavily advertises their pet drop off option on their website, phone messages, and by employees. I was told by multiple employees at the Mill Creek Banfield that dropping off early in the morning and picking up in the afternoon would be an option for my kitten since I have a busy schedule. For my upcoming appointment for the Everett location I decided to give them a call and confirm this would be alright. I called multiple times during business hours and nobody answered, so I decided to come in for my appointment. I explained to the vet tech that I was going to drop my kitten off and pick her up in a few hours. The tech then told me that dropping off was not an option and they proceeded to pet shame me, and make me feel like a bad pet parent, until I was in tears. When I came to pick up my kitten later that day the receptionist very rudely said “you will not drop her off during her next appointment. That should have never happened.” I explained that I only did so because I was told by multiple employees it was okay, and that they need to have better staff/customer communication. The way I was treated gave me horrible anxiety the rest of the day. I had a good experience at Mill Creek, go there or to another non-Everett location.

Last time I picked my dog up will be there LAST time I take her there. Im concerned they abused her. I know for certain they dont take good care of animals. Why u ask? Well theres a few reasons. The eye infection AND skin infection they told me she didnt have when she did for the last year. YEAR... Additionally, theyve previously over medicated her in the past which resulted in having to take her to an emergency hospital to be treated because Everett Banfield refused to let me bring her back in our help in any way. And most recently, because I couldnt get her in anywhere else sooner we tried one more. This time when I picked her up she was covered in fecies and shaking really badly for the rest of the night. I dont know for sure what happened but I know I will never trust them with my dog again.

AWESOME! I took my baby Pomeranian for surgery and dental and the staff was amazing! Caring and kind. Dr. Scire really loved my pup and took great care of him! Everyone loved my Pomeranian and said he was super cute and he was so happy to be there!

All these negative reviews about this location is giving me the creeps! We just adopted two 8-week-old puppies and brought them here a few weeks ago. The front desk clerk we dealt with didnt seem very friendly. These people seem to take advantage of new pet owners who dont know much about owning a dog. I rescheduled our next appointment for our pups boosters at the Mill Creek location instead. Apparently, their appointment scheduling system is not interconnected... so I had to call the Everett location separately to cancel our appointment. When I called them to cancel, the lady told me our appointment wasnt for that location. When I questioned what location it was for, she said it was just her computer acting weird and she now saw the appointment and was going to cancel it. This does not make me feel good about these people! I would steer clear of this location! I hope the Mill Creek location comes thru for us!

I’ve taken my dogs to Banfield for the last 9 years. Recently, I’ve been incredibly disappointed by their customer service / business practice.I took my dog in on Friday November 13th for her 6 month check up and to address some serious health concerns. One of them being sudden digestion issues and the second being her sudden weight loss and weighing far under her preferred weight. During this visit, I paid for blood work and for Radiograph scans to be done to address her digestion issues. I was told I would hear back from them in 2-4 days with the results of the Radiograph scans and to explore other treatment options if nothing showed up. 4 days pass and I don’t hear from them.I figured with Covid, they’re really busy so I end up calling them one week later the following Friday 11/20. The receptionist informed me that there are no notes in the file to give me an update on these scans and that she will have the Vet. Check her email for the scan updates on Tuesday 11/24 and call me back. To my surprise, they don’t call me back. At this point, I’m annoyed that there’s been no communication or update given on these $400+ scans.A few days after my most recent call to them- On Thanksgiving, my dog gets extremely sick and I have to take her to the emergency vet near-by. Banfield is closed so I try calling them the following day as at this point I am desperate for an update. I call them SIX times without an answer and end up leaving a voicemail. Do they call back? Nope.I have called them for a third time on 11/29 only to be told again that they don’t see updates in my file and that I should’ve only been given a call if something showed up on the scans. This makes no sense? If nothing showed up on the scans, why would I still not be given that update so we can explore other options? This is incredibly disheartening. I can see my dog deteriorating and they can’t even give one call back. The receptionist also noted my vet will be in on 12/1, (today) and that she will note that I would like a call back for an update…Alas, no call. I was treated with more respect and care from the emergency vet I took her to on Thanksgiving.This is a horrible way to conduct business and I feel like just another number and payment plan to this company. I will no longer be taking my dog back for any further treatment…if they ever decide to call me anyway. I’ll finish out the rest of my plan but will NOT be renewing and I will NOT be recommending Banfield to anyone.

I have been to this vet clinic 2-3 times previously and the vets and front desk staff were friendly so no issues there. But over the last week (during the snow storm) I’ve had an issue. Had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday at 6pm and they called me at about noon and said they were closing early due to the snow so they wanted to reschedule for Wednesday at 6pm. No problem! So on Wednesday at about noon she calls again to confirm my appointment. She says I’m the last appointment for the day so she just wants to confirm I can make it in. I said yes, but I was happy to reschedule again if they needed to close early again due to weather. She said no, they will be there! So I get there at 545 and there’s a sign that says they are closed due to weather, and in talking to the ladies inside the store, says they left between 1-2pm. I have no problem of them rescheduling, but why couldn’t you call me back? And now it’s Friday and still no call, no nothing to apologize or reschedule. Complete waste of my time, I will be heading to Puget Park Vet clinic as they have some great reviews!

Banfield used to be such a great place to take my pets, however if they have a real emergency or need they are completely useless. My cat has many issues with his bladder and tummy due to his breed, and both times that he has had a life threatening concern with a uti, (cats with UTIs can die within 48 hours if treatment isnt provided) they have not been able to do anything. They dont actually care about your animal, only about the monthly payment to see them. It is always disappointing when you pay so much monthly for a service yet they dont provide any real help.

Honestly if you have a cat dont waste your time they cant do anything for cats and make you think they can help with anything. The staff is always rude at this location or theres only one person at the desk all the time so she can never help you. They have the worst attitude and sound like there checked out. Went in three times this last month for my little buddy:1st- no groom due to needing of renewal of rabbie shot (which she didn’t need.)She gets sick the next day and has seizures after having been diagnosed w heart disease and cancer. We were just there for a groom.2nd- medication needed for seizures. she feels better after taking some but they push for money grabbing tests and refuse to do refills.3rd- no refill and more pushing on tests that would be useless since they know she’s sick. they decide to be “kind” and refill one of the medications. My poor baby passes away immediately the next day.This place is evil. There is foul play and white collar crime. They did something to my dog in between 30min-40min needing to take her to the back observations.

Dr. Sampson was wonderful with helping me and consoling me when it was time to put my baby girl down. Again all the doctors that I have seen have been awesome! Thank you so much! I take my dog in often for check ups here and have used them since he was a puppy.Last week, my dog swallowed a tennis ball and was choking on it - frantic I called my “trusted” veterinarian office to see if they could walk me through how to safely give my dog Heimlich. The lady who answered the phone asked me several times over what I needed help with. After understanding what I was saying she then asked if I would give her my phone number to look up my account with them (which to me is bogus as I needed immediate help). After she successfully found my account SHE PUT ME ON HOLD!!!What kind of human, dedicated to helping animals puts someone on hold while their dog is chocking?!After SIX MINUTES ON HOLD, someone finally picked up and asked what they could help me with. At this point in time my boyfriend had already successfully pulled the ball out of my dogs mouth. But let’s assume he had been unable to pull the ball out: my dog would have chocked to death.I was in fact a patient of theirs and was enrolled in their wellness plan; which is great... only until your dog is about a year old.The wellness plan only covers “preventative care”. So if your dog gets sick or gets fleas or any other injuries, the wellness plan does not cover it and you must pay out of pocket for the treatment.I have since canceled my insurance with them and pulled all my dog’s files to transfer to a new pet hospital. When asked if there was an incident that made me choose to cancel my plan with them, I described to her what happened... she responded with “Oh, okay. well the number to cancel your plan is...”She never even tried to apologized for the situation.When weighing the pros and cons of which pet hospitals I should have chosen for my puppy, I decided to go with Banfield despite the horror stories I had heard about the way they treat their animals and their owners.... I solemnly regret that decision.

If I could leave negative stars I would. I called told Heather I was running late for my appointment, Heather said, “no worries as long as you’re not more than 10 minutes late, After 10 minutes will have to see if we need to reschedule you.” I arrived nine minutes late waited in line to be checked in for another eight minutes. When I got up to the front they call my pet by her name so the whole time I was in line they knew who I was. Heather at the front desk went back to talk to the doctor by this time we are almost 25 minutes after my check in time. Heather tells me the doctors on the phone so I’ll have to see when she gets off if we can see your pet. So I wait and I wait. Heather comes back out and says well if the doctor can’t see Your pet today we will have to reschedule her. Heather told me that if I would like to wait to see if the next person was a no-show the doctor would be happy to see me. I was very happy with that answer. Again, I wait and I wait for the next person they don’t show up, i’m thinking great my sick cat will be able to be seen today. Heather comes back out and I’m thinking she’s going to check me in, that’s not what happened. Heather proceeds to tell me that they’re not going to be able to see my pet today because there just won’t be enough time they’re shorthanded don’t have enough people to see all of the animals that have been scheduled. Twice this person gave me information told me to come, told me to wait, all these things I did and because they were shorthanded they had no intentions of seeing my pet today. Their website says, “ we treat your pet like family. “ If this is how they would treat their family I am appalled! Lies lies lies. If I wasn’t clear the appointment after me did not show up and I still was not seen after being promised that they would see me if the next family was a no-show. I will not use Banfield ever again! I was there from 3:54 PM until 4:29PM there were no pets being seen by any doctor during that time.

Taken my girlfriends dog here a number of times. The staff is friendly, but every time we go they scare my girlfriend into doing additional tests on her dog. Everytime we go it seems we spend $200-300 extra. Today they tested for an ear infection and said they needed to give us different meds... guess what? Same stuff we had last time! That we still have, they said the checked to see what they gave us!!! We used to take him to. The Mill Creek office. They are much better and not after sales like this office is. Be warned!!!

We used to take our pets here but now take them to the Lynwood Banfield Pet Hospital. But, the staff here was always very friendly and nice but just way understaffed and had a hard time addressing our individual needs all the time. The company is excellent and offers a type of monthly pet care that pays for itself in one visit of teeth cleaning. I love the company but drive further into Lynnwood for more personal care. They all remember my pet and her needs.

I had a appointment to get, my cat, To be brushed out and a nails trimmed, before I could leave the store, after dropping my cat off, I got a phone call saying she couldnt do my cat, because he hissed at her! I dont know if he did or not, but my cat is VERY MELLOW, by nature, and I was surprised by the call, my thought is, if you are going to be the only cat groomer there you should be used to a cat possibility hissing at you, this groomer is a scaredy cat..and I will look elsewhere for my cool cat to be groomed.

I am trying to cancel my Belnfield Wellness as we speak. I had to pay for medicine for my dog three seperate time, all over $100 each time including having the Wellness Plan, because they wouldnt listen to us and then do their job correctly. I told them that my dog got ringworm from the cat we just adopted and they prescribed us medicine NOT for ringworm. Then we went in again, paid to have ringworm tested because they wouldnt listen to us, and then paid for the ringworm medicine. Then we move and poor Charlie still has ringworm all over her face and in her mouth now. We go to our local Banfield, and he refused to cut her nails because he says theres a note saying shes aggressive or a biter.... What?!?! Thats the first time we ever heard anything like that!! NO ONE talk to us about that happening, but they wrote it down to warn other doctors?? He says hell figure out the right medicine and then throughout the week he continues to call and leave me messages while Im at work, asking me to call the other Banfield with all his questions, and then to call him back with the answers for him. Why the heck am I paying for a Wellness Plan if I have to do all the back and forth the second I switch Banfields? Even though this doctor is incredibly difficult, he does realize pretty fast that the Everett Banfield didnt even give her half the amount of medicine that is needed for her body weight when they did finally give her ring worm medicine....... ugh! Screw this place so much.

Oh banfield where do I start, your services as a whole are amazing, but your Everett location is less than pleasurable to deal with. The front counter staff is very uninformed of company wide policies. Now i know what youre thinking disgruntled customer with a stick shoved way up a dark place. But thats not the case i frequent youre mount Vernon location pretty frequently and have had no issues, but due to certain circumstances I had to take him to the Everett location. Never ever again will I go to banfield in Everett, this store should be addressed and dealt with. The lady with the giant neck who wouldnt give her name is less than helpful in ever aspect of her job. Doesnt know anything about procedure. Just there to fill a check. I have contacted corporate and I will pursue this. Steer clear of Everett location take the extra hour and drive to mount Vernon

Since Saturday 5-30-2015, my kitty was sick, not eating or drinking for almost 2 days. I was frantic, But when i called for some advise, i was greeted with the most helpful person. With being scared of the possible outcome of my kitty, she was reassuring letting me know that its not time to worry just yet. I felt so much better. Then on Sunday the 31st of may, i went in and spoke with Nicole at the front desk, and she was even more help to me than any other vet office i called. I am humbled to know that there are still people that not only care sincerely about your pets, but also about you. Thank you to all at Banfield, you have helped me through one of the most scariest times in my kittys life.

Well aside from the fact they take literally 20 min to pour an rx into a different container, I had thought it was a fluke but nope everytime even when they tell you its ready, this place is just trying to get your money, I dont hardly see the docs and I barely even know who they are. the staff contradict themselves they dont listen to my concerns, in fact they dont seem to listen at all. all they care about is getting you on a wellness plan and harassing you to bring your pets in more than necessary even when you explain your cat has serious anxiety and has to be medicated just to get her in the carrier and Ive explained because of that I want the best care in fewest visits so only the absolutely necessary visits cause of course I want her healthy, but they still harass you and you are left feeling like they dont listen. Ive been going there for a while cause all 3 of my cats are established there and its seemed like a difficult thing to get a good vet rec but Im done with this place. after all that, I do want to say I am not questioning there vets abilities or saying they dont know what they are doing, but I never really feel like I know whats going on. oh and I brought my cat in for dental but she has a heart murmur so they couldnt do it. I appreciated them checking. the dental and all the prelim testing is covered under my plan UNLESS they dont do the dental like in my case then suddenly you are responsible for all the bloodwork and tests they do prelim, 300 bucks they tried to charge me. when it was supposed to be covered. I refused to pay and they fixed it but if I hadnt said anything they had no problem with that. there may be skill there but I never leave feeling good about any of it. and the most the staff (not all, there are a couple that seem great) are rude and again dont listen. it if they do they just dont care.

My girlfriend and I brought her dog (Maggie) here for the last 6 months of her life. (San Diego location prior to this) Maggie was a very special case and had multiple issues, all to the extreme. The staff was extremely knowledgeable. What they didnt know, they researched or called other vet friends for more information. They truly cared about Maggie as much as we did. They both laughed, and cried with us. As long as I live near here, this is where Ill go.

Weve brought our cat in twice - once after being attacked by a large-breed dog, and another after getting abscesses on his neckline. The vets were very kind both times, offered us affordable treatment, and never once treated us like bad pet parents for allowing our cat to get into fights/get beat up. The front desk staff is a little irritating - for the most part, it seems like they dont want to be there - but the veterinary staff is great. I highly recommend.

I love everything about this Vet. My Pitbull has been there from the beginning, the staff remembers who he is and he gets the VIP treatment. Whenever I have concerns they dont charge me to check out my dog. Prices are cheap and my dog loves going even after being fixed!

BANFIELD KILLED MY CAT. I took my 7 year old cat in to get his vaccines updated. I only brought him to banfield because it was 5 min away and he would get really stressed out in cars. I figured vaccines were and easy and harmless process so no need to go on a long drive to his normal vet. Banfield did not follow protocol for the the 3 year rabies vaccines and gave him the shot in his shoulder blade. Proper protocol demands you give the shot in the lower rear leg because there is a chance this vaccine can cause an aggressive cancer in cats called VAS (Vaccine Associate Sarcoma). Ask any real vet about it and they will tell you. Its a rare but extremely aggressive cancer and the only way to treat it with chance of survival is through amputation, hence why the shot is given far down the leg. Im not an anti vaccine person, I believe vaccines are needed but proper protocol was not followed. The vets here are uneducated and callous. I took my cat to 2 specialist to see if anything could be done to treat his cancer, since it was in his shoulder blade both recommended avoiding treatment since surgery and chemo would only buy him time at best and at worse, the stress of it would accelerate his death. Banfield killed my cat with their negligent practices, and I would strongly suggest you avoid it at all cost. Wish this place was shut down. My cat is not the first animal to suffer greatly due to their carelessness.

Ive been very pleasantly surprised with how nice & helpful they are here. (Being co-located in a pet store, I had my doubts.)Our first time visiting was to get our cats nails clipped. We had through the grooming department of Petsmart would clip cats nails, but they dont. So we walked over to Banfield - no appt, no nothing - and they got our cats nails clipped right way.Second visit was yesterday. Everyone was super nice and friendly, answered all our questions, etc. Think weve found our new vet. :-)

I was 3 minutes late for my cats appointment for Wich banfield was not ready for in the first place so by the time the front desk called back it was all ready 25 after and the vet said I would have to leave my cats for a couple hours Wich they were already stressed out and would have stressed them out Evan more have tied to call the 1800 number sevreal times all ways busy ☹️

Inside Petsmart - Not a great experience. The staff was friendly and the vet and her assistant were excellent. Id rate them 5 stars based on their kindness and being knowledgeable and giving, in terms of answering my questions. Unfortunately, I found them via a Facebook ad for a free 1st vet visit and when I called, I told them I have 2 kittens and they said itd be no problem using the coupon for both cats. After my appointment, the vet assistant said I have to pay for an appointment because the coupon only covered one.What was even more frustrating, was when I made the appointment, I told the lady that I had them fixed 2 weeks prior and needed their booster shots done that another place told me should be done 2-3 weeks after. She said they could do that at the same time. Then the vet said they dont do them until 3 weeks there. So I paid for a vet visit, couldnt get the boosters done, and they tried to sell me a wellness plan that costs over $500 a year for my 2 cats. 2 stars because the vet was great.Lastly, when I spoke with them, no one mentioned that theyre located inside Petsmart. My 5 month old kittens have only once been to a shelter, when they were fixed. Going to the very back of a loud pet store was more stressful for them then I cared for this early on... Needless to say, Im not going to come in every week because their phone people arent trained properly on what their vets actually do and dont do. Total waste of my time and money; I wont be back.

Update: The doctor called and explained to me there were some misunderstanding. Her message was wrongly interpreted by the assistant. She apologized for that. I am not very convinced, but she did apologized, so I decided to increase the review to two stars.[orginal]Their doctors dont even care their patients.My dog has been with Lynnwood Banfield for a couple years, then we switched to Everett Banfield since it was open. We had essential wellness plan at first, then upgraded to Active Prevention last year. We brought our dog in for physical exam twice a year. Overall, it was not a bad experience. I do notice them constantly changing staff.Recently my dog has been drinking a a lot and urinate a lot more so we want to do a blood test, because we dont have any quota left for blood test with current plan. They asked us to upgrade to Special Care plan to pay less for the blood test (but pay more every month for the plan) , so we did. The blood test result was not conclusive, so they recommended us to do a ultrasound (about 250), and we did. The result come back indicating there were some mass around the anal sack and sub lumbar area, spleen and liver. But they dont perform fine needle aspirate, so we had to find another place to do the procedure and another blood test (about $850). The test came back indicating cancer. At this point we have to find a oncologist to discuss treatment options. So we found an oncologist in Lake City, but her schedule was booked up for 10 days. However, the oncologist provides phone consultation to vets, which will be much faster. So I contacted Everett Banfield to try to have my dogs regular vet to contact the oncologist for a phone consultation. The answer I got from the vet is There is no point to do it ( phone consultation ) because we (Banfield) wont be the one providing long term care. At that moment, I realize how much they care about their patients.Everett Banfield, Dr. Miller, right at the moment, your patient really needed you for a quick phone consultation for possible cancer treatment options, you abandoned him. Dont call yourself a doctor because you dont deserve that title. Are all patients just dollar signs to you?

Vaccine experience was HORRID!! Went in for my kittens vaccines. The first he needed went through the other side of his skin and leaked onto the table, the second vaccine they had a hard time getting the vaccine in but decided to push the liquid from the vaccine in anyway, and the third vaccine he got loose with the vaccine still in his leg. Not a good experience. Left with my kitten panting and all stressed out :(
