Ive been going to North Creek Dental Care for years, and always feel like I am well cared for there. The front desk and office team are well organized and helpful. The hygienists are gentle and thorough and super kind. I have always trusted and really like Dr. Koontz, but also have been impressed in my interactions with the other dentists. Overall really great people. I highly recommend.

I have a terrible anxiety about the dentist and everyone was so patient and reassuring! They put my needs above their schedule and made me feel safe.Their billing department was awesome and called me before my appointment to let me know my emergency work was not covered under my insurance. They also helped come up with a way for me to have the work done immediately.

I had my first cleaning post-Covid here and it couldnt have been a better experience. Everyone from reception to the tech, hygienist, and the DDS were exceptionally friendly, warm, and welcoming. During my exam, the Dr. noticed a filling that he said probably will need to be re-done, but didnt pressure me to do it right away and said we would just watch it for now since it isnt bothering me at all. The cleaning was painless and thorough and it was so easy to schedule my next appointment. Highly recommend if youre in the area and looking for a dentist!

Update on 10/19/2021: I believe it is my personal responsibility to make sure my providers are in-network, but North Creek graciously refunded the difference in cost between in- and out-of-network dentists for me. Ill leave the original review below, but wanted to provide an update. If my insurance changes in the future and Dr. Koontz is in my network I would definitely make North Creek my first choice.ORIGINAL REVIEW:North Creek Dental Care was recommended to me by a neighbor, so I called to book a cleaning since I am new to the area and needed a new dentist. Its rare to see someone so enthusiastic about a dentist, so I figured I was in excellent hands. The dental cleaning was excellent and I love the hygienists.My xrays showed the need for a root canal plus several cavities. I scheduled the work to be done and went back a couple of weeks later. Dr. Conley was in charge of my treatment and seems like a nice guy. He numbed me up, filled a cavity, and said hed be right back to do the root canal. Thirty minutes passed before he came back, and by then the numbing was not as effective. He said something like guess that was longer than a little bit. Additionally, this root canal was scheduled to be done in two parts. After the first procedure, I was in excruciating pain for 3 days. I was pain-free after the 2nd part weeks later, but dang, I cant underestimate how awful the pain was for 3 full days. It hurt to simply exist. Tylenol hardly scratched the pain and I barely slept. The office had no advice aside from taking tylenol (little to no effect) and antibiotics which they prescribed over the phone (which didnt help either).My neighbor said, Oh, we like Dr. Koontz. You should have asked to see him instead. I called the office to see if I could see Dr. Koontz in the future and they told me Dr. Conley started my treatment so they wanted me to stick with him for the remainder of my cavities before switching. Again, I think Dr. Conley is a nice guy and was warm and friendly toward me, but I (wrongly) assumed Id see Dr. Koontz based on the way my neighbor talked.Adding insult to injury, it turns out North Creek Dental is not in my dental network, so I paid a lot extra out of pocket. This wasnt mentioned to me during my visits and I didnt get the bills til after the final visit. I paid their estimate up front and then got text messages from the office later to pay even more before the bills even got to my mailbox. The system doesnt feel great, but its my fault for not checking with my insurance. [Edit on 10/19/2021: The office did not have to do this, but they wrote off the excess charges.]

Beautiful clinic. Beautiful souls that work here. I LOVED my hygienist Michelle. I havent felt my teeth this clean since I was a toddler.My first impressions were that of amazement over their support staff and cleanliness. They are taking Covid SERIOUSLY. You can feel at ease knowing they care about your whole health.Their technology is mind blowing and you can tell the owner and dental king Dr. Koontz takes pride in his arsenal. His accolades are more than impressive; receiving top 10 in dentistry!So gentle and no anxiety walking in and not emotionally scared walking out. Not to mention; they gift you either an electric toothbrush or up to 10 at home professional whitening strips for being a new patient!I would recommend them to anyone! Even my enemies, if they behave. 😉

As soon as you enter the doors at this place you feel welcomed. The staff at the front desk are great and friendly. I knew I was right about coming to a place like this. Dr. Golveo took care of my tooth and saved it so I dont look toothless. He took extra time to help my pain when I first came in and on my 2nd visit he healed me up completely. It was such a smooth process. Now I have a new smile and no pain thanks to Dr. Golveo and his great assistant Victoria. I will definitely recommend to anyone looking for great dental experience.

I just switched over to North Creek Dental and had a great first visit. I’d heard great things from friends who are patients. The office is new and beautifully decorated. The 2 receptionists greeted me warmly. My hygienist was friendly and knowledgeable, and respectful of my time. Dr. Koontz was also friendly, & took his time with me. I am very happy with my visit and look forward to continuing with their practice.

My entire family comes here for a reason! Had my first visit and everyone was amazing! Susan my Hygienist was the best. Gentle yet thorough with my cleaning and was the sweetest! I LOVE this dentist! I had what you might call “an experience” with a former dentist, and it made really nervous to try a new one. After almost 10 years of avoiding the dentist, I finally went. I was tense the first visit, but everyone was so friendly and kind. I soon felt at home! After only three visits, I was looking FORWARD to going to the dentist for my regular 6-month check up. Going to North Creek Dental is always a great experience. I was especially impressed with all the extra precautions being taken in the midst of Covid. I was hesitant to make the appointment but felt very secure during my check up and cleaning. I started with this practice in South Holland in the 70s and cannot say enough good things about them.

Dr. Don and his staff at North Creek Dental are great! Our whole family has our dental work done here. We really appreciate that Dr. Don is not driven by making a buck. If work seriously needs to be taken care of ASAP he recommends that, but he also isnt hasty to recommend something that just isnt problem (as other dentists might do). For this reason, I readily trust his advice.Additionally, hes a great person. He has at least 1 day each year he offers free dental work for people who need a basic procedure, but dont have the finances to cover it. I dont think I have ever heard of another dental office that does this! Its a first come-first served, wait in line type of deal, but even so, what a great service to offer!My children have always had positive experiences as well. The hygenists and Dr. Don make their visits comfortable and quick! (They do enjoy the prize at the end too)I highly recommend North Creek Dental.
