Over a year ago I made the appointment to come into the dentist but was hesitant due to prior bad experiences with the dentist. My major goal was to find a dentist that had the sedation as an option. It had been about five years since I had been in to see one (which is gross I know) as just thinking about going in gave me pure anxiety. On my first appointment with Dr. Hughes I was greeted by the amazing and friendly reception staff doing everything they could to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I was given my intake paperwork and noticed for the first time at a dentist office the amazing question of what my ultimate dental goals were. As I placed all my obvious needs, I continued to place all of my long term goals here as well.As I was called back for the appointment I could feel the anxiety kicking in and not wanting to go back as I was afraid of what dental work they would be conducting that day. As I was able to not only tell my concerns and openly discuss my fears and anxiety with Dr. Hughes and the dental assistant team it was really comforting to see they really cared and really listened to every issue I had. As I felt comfortable they were able to start with their thorough evaluation of everything that needed to be done. Before any work was done there was an estimated financial breakdown of the cost for everything that needed to be done and was able to sit down and go over every aspect with Dr. Hughes to start a realistic dental care plan that I could afford within my budget.Going into the appointment I was aware it was going to cost alot of money. With the help of Dr. Cooper the sedation doctor I was able to get all of my goals completed in a reasonable amount of time as every member of the staff I encountered in the office helped me feel calm and welcome into their family like I was truly a member of them instead of being treated like number. Now that I am almost fully in the maintenance stage of my long term personal dental plan due to my Invisalign, I can honestly say I no longer get anxiety or panic about going into the dentist. As everyone in the Dr. Hughes office are so friendly, understanding, and truly listen to my every need they still continue to welcome me every time I see them. Hughes Dental Group is easily the best dentist experience Ive ever had. I hadnt been to a dentist in a while and when I finally came into Hughes for my first appointment, they never lectured me. They wanted to help me get back to a healthy mouth as much as I did and were very supportive and encouraging! No fear tactics used, and everyone that works there radiated positivity. Ive been visiting Dr. Bob and the Hughes Dental Group office for many years now and I have to admit they are hands down the best in the business. I found out about them through a flyer and left my previous dentist who wasnt so great, but Dr. Bob and all his staff are super friendly and take care of me and my teeth. They have been nothing short of amazing in all my cleanings, including past tooth extractions (wisdom teeth) and fillings. I told my wife about them and she has been going here for many years as well now. As long as we live in the area, we will always be their customer. This Dental Office will scam you. I paid for my work upfront the day of my appointment. I had no additional work done. A month later I received a bill for over $1,000. I have spoke with others who also have had billing CHANGES! DO NOT GO HERE! I requested Dr. Hughes himself to call me and Claire refused! I have lodged a complaint with the Attorney General!

I love this office and the Doctor is amazing. He takes time to really teach you about dental hygiene and is helping me get my smile back. I am so impressed and so glad to happen to just find this Dentist.

Dr. Bob and his staff are very caring with great empathy for their patients.They explain every procedure carefully to make sure the patientscompletely understand them.I do highly recommend becoming a patient of Hughes Dental Group to all people who have been afraid of dentists ,or have had bad experienceswith their previous dentists.The office interior is very clean, friendly and comfortable.

We found Dr. Hughes and the dream team by referral from a co worker and love it here. We have been coming to Dr. Hughes for about 6 years, I am terrified of the dentist and spent many tearful sessions that the office staff empathetically endured. My husband has nearly perfect teeth so he has been an easy patient, it makes up for how awful I WAS. Now through their gentle, compassionate and comforting style, I am no longer in tears. The accommodations for EVERY patient is at a service level above any other dentist in the area, believe me we made that mistake. Dr. Bob has had to remove all of my fillings and replace them with composite, crown and completely restore my ugly black fillings and cracked painful teeth. I love my crowns they are all beautiful white and no metal band at the gum line like other dentists. I was once told not to laugh with my mouth open, now when I do, I think of all of my beautiful white teeth. Thank you Dr Bob, Claire and the wonderful folks whom have reduced if not removed my anxiety from childhood dental work. I have that beautiful smile I have always wanted!

If you are looking for a dentist in the Everett area, please take the time to come meet Dr. Hughes and his team. I went on recommendation from a friend of mine and have been very happy with how easy my first appointment went even though I am normally terrified of the dentist. I dont dread going back, which is a big deal. Props to the team for making me feel comfortable.

They were so great! Attentive to my needs and patient with my fears... bedside manner was fabulous... so much that my husband set up an appt on our way out which is huge!
