Well it was expensive I don’t really care about the price for quality pet care, my issue was with the front desk woman who was disrespectful to another cat owner. I was really uncomfortable witnessing her wait for hours and then be treated poorly. After seeing the reviews I think it would be in the best interest of my animals to take them elsewhere before I have a bad experience and I suggest you guys do the same.

In my search for a new forever vet for my dog after moving to Everett, I checked out this place. My dog had an ear infection I needed help with, and they were the vet that could get him seen the soonest (2.5 weeks out). I should have held out for quality and not speed. I arrived early and filled out all the paperwork. While filling out the forms, the two folx at the desk started talking badly about the customer before me, and making fun of him. Wow. Huge trust lost there . After 30 minutes we were brought in and the dog taken in the back for an exam. They agreed that he had an ear infection, but also tried to upsell me on dental cleaning with anesthesia. (He just saw another vet a few months back who said his teeth were great for his age.) After taking the dog back, we waited in the tiny exam room for a further two hours and twenty minutes. No update on time. No update on procedure. Just silence.

Called Value Vet recently to make an appointment to treat my dogs kennel cough. Whoever was at the counter in the morning was very rude and uncaring. Asked me to send my dog to emergency when there is no need; the cough just started a couple days ago and it is not lethal. I asked them again if I can make an appointment, then they responded with an angery tone, refusing business. I told them I would need to hang up because of their disrespect, Well SORR-Y. they said. I dont care if one of you guys are having a bad day, its not right to act that way towards a customer. I am no longer visiting this place from now on. Ridiculous.

Hate doing reviews but today I had time.Been going to value vet for 2 years now and with there decent prices and close to my home I didnt mind and looked past some of bad business they do. Im always unable to pick up my prescriptions for the dog food they prescribed because its always outta stock at there location today I called in to get my dogs meds and after 3 days of no one returning my calls to pick it up I called and they told me he needs to be seen again to be prescribed the same food and meds hes been taking for 2 years. Mind u this is after being put on hold for 20 mins my dog has been itching himself to scabs and I had to drive around looking for the dog food because when I tried to order on Amazon they could approve the prescription because no one ever pics up. Calls are never returned, takes at least 5 days for refills, always on hold always outta stock and the doctor is just awkward and looks like he has no pets or in instrest in pets. Altho the girls at the front desk never pick up or call back they are all very sweet its the customer service that I cant handle

First I called and the phone was picked up but no one answered or said anything. The receiver was placed on the desk or something because I could hear two people discussing charts and it sounded as if one was being trained. The trainer began to bad mouth one of the doctors and I realized they werent going to answer the phone so I hung up. I called right back and explained that my dog couldnt walk, wasnt eating or drinking and was in pain - no compassion from the girl who answered who also never asked any questions whatsoever and told me the soonest appointment was 13 days out. When I asked if there wasnt something they could do, I was told, nope. I scheduled the appointment but my dog died before she could get to the appointment. There is no compassion from this place and I will never bring another pet of mine here again.

My dog wouldnt be alive if it wasnt for this clinic. 2 years ago, they performed a lifesaving surgery on my baby boy for a quarter of the cost the emergency vet requested. They worked with me on payment, they were so sensitive and caring to my feelings, and to my dog as well. They still remember me and Scrappy everytime I come in and it warms my heart. Ill always come here for every pet I own. This place truly employs superheros, and you cant change my mind! 💗

Brought our dog in for a bite wound our dog got from our other dog. This bite needed stitches or staples and the wound to be cleaned out and closed up. Value vet charged us $205 for cleaning and meds and wanted another $618 for surgery our fury family friend didnt need surgery just needed to be cared for and given options other than an expensive office visit for a bite wound. Instead sent our dog home with a open wound a few days worth of meds and a smile and a wave good bye. Called around to other vets in the area and got the situation taken care of for another $268. We are transferring all of our pets to another vet clinic. There is no Value in value vet. We felt all they wanted was our money and the care of our family friend was not taken care of with passion, care and consideration of what is affordable within reason of the situation.

I have been a client at Value Vet for many years. I absolutely love their stuff and how they treat my babies. With them being a small Clinic my pets are 100% cared for from beginning to end. They are a small clinic so this does mean they dont just have people standing around waiting to serve you because they are busy. If you sit in the clinic for even 10 minutes you will see every associate running back and forth answering phones, helping each other and bending over backwards to help each and every client in any way they can. The Associates and Veterinary technicians have cuddled and sang to my babies to soothe them when scared. Even a rescue who is not dog friendly is brought in a side door and gets pampered while she gets her nails done in the back. I could not express the Gratitude I have for every staff member and doctor at that practice.

I think they did a good job so far. Havent quite figured out whats wrong with my baby yet but its a process as she cant tell them whats wrong. They are doing their best i believe. I havent been to another vet as our cats are inside cats and we dont take them in unless something is wrong. But i dont think it should be called value vet i dont think the value is very good. I paid 65 dollars for some meds that they didnt even put on to my cat for me. I could have just gotten it from Costco. And in my personal opinion, my own pharmacies have always told me how to get the cheapest medicine. But there is a goodRX for pets and I wish i would have known about that a day before our appointment. Since my cat is long haired and very fiesty (which they were not worried about, which is great) she needed to be sedated for some treatment, it was spendy and I wanted a sanitary cut but I believe they would have shaved the area around her wound anyway. It seemed we needed to pay for the sedation in order to get her treated which I do not like. They offered a lion cut which is not pretty(they warned us they are not trained) but why offer it? Its uneven and 105$ not worth the price. I wonder what they would have done if I hadnt taken their suggestions. Since the wound is on her neck all we can do is sock her. Or make her a scarf. Its hard. And we still dont know what it is. 327$ later. But what do I know. Maybe I should get pet insurance.

This is one of the best veterinary clinics I have been to in over 40 years as a dog owner. After reading some of the negative reviews, we were very skeptical, but decided to give them a try. We are glad we did. Our 11 year old boxer developed a growth on her side that quickly grew. We knew she would need surgery to remove it immediately. Being a 100% disabled veteran and on a fixed income, we were very concerned of the cost. Not only do their normal prices for the surgery appear to be less than ½ the estimated price of any other vet in the area, they also went through the bill item by item with me to eliminate any optional expense. Dr Bin was helpful, professional, and caring. Her concern for both our girl and our financial situation was evident. … The staff was also professional and courteous. They made sure I understood all of the aftercare instructions. They even called the next morning to check on her. I definitely recommend them.

I have always had a good experience here - from the time I step in with the front desk staff, to the vet techs in the rooms, and the exam with the veterinarian. All of them are compassionate about what they do, and treat your pets with care. Examinations are thorough, medications/services are explained and are helpful. Yesterday we had to put down our 18 year old family beagle. I felt that the team did there best to make sure that Nikki was comfortable and treated with dignity. My dog has liver disease. She was poisoned with buprenorphine (they knew she had liver disease) by the Lynnwood vetrinary specialty center. I attribute her being alive to the handsome and kind Dr. At Value Vet. He personally made sure to talk with me at no cost the best treatment, it took little time for him to get back to me as he was making rounds if phone calls, seeming to care about all of them personally. After spending 1700 elsewhere we had very little money left. He made sure she did not become critical with sound advice. If your dog has liver disease please double check every perscribed med. The purina flora fauna has copper as a 3rd ingredient and buprenorphine should never be given to a dog with liver disease. The current dr. And past dr.v are seriously the best bit again double check every medicine because we are all human and can make mistakes.

Value vet? Not so fast. I was quoted $320 to spay my animal. I was told when I scheduled if my animal was in heat it would cost an additional $70. Her last heat was two months prior to surgery. When I go to pick her up Im told she was in heat and will have to pay extra. Impossible, she was in heat two months ago! Yet I didnt argue, and shelled out the extra $70 Im then told Ill need to come back to have stitches removed (Suprise, opportunity to gouge me more?) I was assured there would be no charge. When I come back, Im told she looks a little infected and i will need to pay for antibiotics. I came home, another $40 light and looked on the internet for signs of infection after a surgery. Ill tell you she had none of them. I threw out the antibiotics. BEWARE: Dont let the name fool you, this is no value. Low and behold my dog is fine. What started out as $320 for a spay turned into $435. (Besides all this, service was good thus the 2 stars.)

There was a clear lack of communication that the surgeon admitted, and they offered to do another surgery and remove the initial tumor for free. No thank you.I immediately made arrangements with new vet to have her stitches removed and to get a second opinion. I requested to have all records transferred, which they werent. The new vet questioned why a biopsy wasnt done BEFORE opting for surgery. (??!) Good question. Biopsy was ordered and the initial tumor in question was nothing more than a cyst -- no surgery needed. At this point I feel a refund is mandatory and will be looking into legal options.

It took me a long time to talk myself into the need to stop his suffering. When I arrived around 5pm, they had a few people ahead of me. They put me in an exam room were I waited FOR 1 1/2 HOURS!!!!When the vet after hearing my explanation, did an exam, she commented that he did a good job of grooming and his eyes were bright. She acknowledged that he had arthritis and dental disease but felt she couldnt put him to sleep based just on those facts. So, instead, we are going to let him slowly starve to death and be in pain? I was deeply hurt by this. It was a tough decision for me and based on a 5 min exam, she knows best? The real kicker of it, was getting to pay $43 for the exam and chart setup. DONT GO THERE IF YOU NEED TO END YOUR CATS SUFFERING. Go to a more compassionate vet!

I appreciate the estimates and their willingness to help with minimizing costs when possible. We have had all kinds of medial issues (asthmatic cats, kitty cancer, very sick form unknown reason kitties..strays we have taken in,etc) and understand that diagnostic tests are necessary, and going out to other locations is one of the ways they can keep costs down...anyway, I highly recommend them , and most especially Dr Robinette , to others.(this is Mariannas mother writing the review!)

I have been going to this Vet Clinic for years, and I have never had a worse experience with not only the ridiculous prices for proper medication through studies they have used, but in the treatment of my animals. I work in an animal organization myself and now work in parts of the Vet Clinic and have come to see just how shabby this clinic is.I have SEVERAL stories to tell.1. Cat with ear mites (Typical condition, easy to treat) had caused a cat to scratch at its ears with its back nails. Lacerations in ear were found, and they were treated. Well, in the process of cutting off the infected areas of the ear, which could not be saved, they accidentally snipped a little bit too much off. They gave us antibiotics, and medications, and charged us a lump sum for their botched surgery. We used the medications, antibiotics, and the ear looked to heal up nicely. A week later, her ear started to shrivel and look infected. We took her back and said that was normal and it would heal. Well it got worse and I actually have a cat with no ear now thanks to this establishment.2. I took a cat in for a normal check up with a family member, to see Dr. R, and when Dr. R was handling the cat, I was attempting to show her and tell her where the injuries were on my cat and where they seemed to be the most painful. She told me, Sit down while Im trying to do this examination in quite a tone. Excuse me? I am trying to show you where my cat is in pain and when it started, but I have to sit down and stop talking for you?3. I have a dog with skin allergies and chronic ear infections. I went to see Dr. R AGAIN, but this time with the knowledge of the Vet Clinic at the Organization i work at. She took one look at his skin and told me flea allergies and food allergies, and told me about this study theyve done on Frontline not killing fleas and to buy this more expensive flea medication for it. Also telling me flea baths dont work. Seriously. The next time you are about to be charged for this more expensive medication, look at the ingredients and research, research, research! On top of this, she looked into my dogs ears, which were swollen, smelled awful, were full of pus, and flaky. She looked me in the eye and said it was just an irritation and gave me a simple ear cleaner (1 part water, 2 parts vinegar) and said that was all I needed. No mention of an ear infection or ANYTHING.With ANY veterinary knowledge you would know that is clearly a case of an ear infection, and simply cleaning it will not solve the issue. I did as she said with just the ear cleaning, and once showing her it didnt work, she once again tried to charge me with a lump sum for some new medication. A medication with the same ingredients as the type you can get at the vet clinic I work at for 20 dollarsIt seems they do trial and error here at Value Vet then charge you with 200 dollars for a new medication theyve found.Horrible establishment, would not recommend anyone go there to have their animals treated this way.Dont let them take your money and run.

This new owner is out to get money and I see absolutely ZERO value now in this vet.The Vet listened to my dogs heart and lungs and said I dont hear anything wrong with hear heart and her lungs do not sound funny to meHe did blood work on my dog said she had a blood infection, but could not identify from what when i asked. When he told me he was going to give me antibiotics for the infection, asked if we should have an X-ray done or something like that he said oh let me get you an estimate for that. since he said she had an infection and to give her antibiotics to see how she reacted, i though best to hold off until we see how she reacted to the antibiotics and he did say it is up to you if you want to get it done or not; however I was the one who mentioned it and thought that was odd.Another tip off he is out for money is he wanted to get my dogs nails clipped because she had arthritis and said it would help with the pain. Look, this was not why my dog was panting, nor was the 1 point level increase on her thyroid, when he said she had hyper thyroid after receiving blood work.He kept her for about an hour and put her on an IV to Re-dehydrated her. He said she was very dehydrated and we needed to make sure she kept hydrated, he gave us antibiotics, pain meds and thyroid pills, and sent me and my dog home. The vet said if she did not get better in 2-3 days bring her back. The very next day, my dog was panting worse, i took her to the emergency veteran clinic in Lynnwood. Upon arrival they rushed her back to triage, after a short time she passed away from cardiac arrest. They said she had cancer in her chest so bad she had no lung tissue left and her heart was being squeezed.I asked the vet if she saw this dog in a non-emergancy situation panting and breathing this way what would be the first course of action to take. She said every vet is different; however respiratory distress is nothing to mess around with and she would take a chest x-ray.Yes my dog was old, and yes even if this vet would have done an x-ray I would have been in a position to choose to put my dog down or not that day vs. her passing away from cardiac arrest. My point is this - If this vet truly cared about doing the right thing, he would have done the x-ray first, then the blood work, or since you did blood work and you noticed white blood cells off the charts, then insisted on an x-ray to find the root cause. He should not have insisted on hydrating her for an hour, clipping her nails, or giving me meds and having us come back in a day or two ($$$).I am not faulting this vet for the passing of my dog, please do not take this rating as that. This vet charged me for unnecessary work that he knows could have been avoided by simply following simple triage steps. Also My bill was $400...not the best value, you can find better care and a better price for your animal, ask around....DO NOT COME HERE. THAT WAS MY LAST VISIT.FYI, - The ER vet tech listened to her lungs and heart and right away rushed her back and gained my approval for an x-ray and took her in the back...THE VET TECH!

I am catsitting and the cat had bloody urine. There were no appointments available today but they still let me bring her in as a walkin. All the staff were friendly and the vet was very informative. They gave me meds to take home and the whole visit was very affordable. Now when her owner comes home I wont half to slap her with an outrageous amount of a bill and her baby will be as good as new.

I went there this morning (on a saturday). Their weekly vet had the day off, and the actual owner was filling in as the temporary vet. He was seriously the nicest, most compassionate man Ive ever met. Many vets do not give you the time to really listen and figure out a good solution. It got pretty busy while I was there, but this man gave such a thorough exam. He is even retired! Many vets nowadays are too hasty-- too focused on rushing you out the door. They have glazed eyes as they follow their standard procedures. They hardly give your pet any attention....Not this man! He took his time with me and my cat to figure out a good way to ease his pain. I brought my cat home today with the appropriate meds for constipation and nausea. If it wasnt for the fluids he gave to my cat, he would probably have died from dehydration. We are still on a mission to find a longterm solution for this chronic problem; but meanwhile, he is alive and sitting here on my lap purring (out of pain). (Eddie thanks you!) One of the vet techs was also very helpful explaining the costs of the different options. She also showed me how to give his injections at home. Thank you!

Wow what a joke i will never take my dog here again. This was the third and final time i will take my dog to this money hungry joke of a vet clinic. I first took my dog here because he wouldnt stop itching and his hair was falling out and i didnt know what to after everything i tried failed. They said he was allergic to fleas, so ok i went with it and paid for the treatments and everything they wanted me to do, no prob i thought they knew what they where talking about since they are the vet and not me.the second time was an ear infection so again i did everything they said no prob. This time its the same thing as the first time he wont stop itching and he losing hair because of it. This time they wanted me to pay around 200 for the exam, pain relief shampoo, antibiotics, and more test, then bring him back in 14 days for the results and pay more and more and more. I dont get it i thought he was allergic to fleas like you said the first time when i paid around 300 and thought he was going to be all good. I feel like i got ripped off the first time i brought him in there and they said he was allergic to fleas, oh yeah the dog has no fleas on him in the bath tub when i give him a bath once a week or anywhere in the house for that matter, if he had fleas trust me i would have seen one by now, What a joke Im so mad, I left there so fast even tho they got me for 45 dollars to stick a thermometer up his butt and check his weight oops i mean exam. I will take my dog to a skin specialist next time not some joke of a vet clinic

We have been taking our pets to Dr.Robbinette since she was in Alderwood. She Found a tumor in our cats ear when other said it was mites. She also sent us to Dr.Duclo when our dog had skin allergies not flee allergies.I dont know what these reviewers are talking about. Maybe they werent paying attention when the doctors were talking about treatment. My dog gets very excited to go see the girls and Dr. Robbinette . If hes there not needing to see the doctor she will come say hi to our dog. The girls and the all the doctors make him feel special and take very good care of him.

They felt the need to repeatedly tell us that our dog is misbehaved, because my dog was being protective of my wife, not being aggressive or anything. My dog is traumatized by nurses scrubs, so he growled a bit when the assistant first approached him. Just a bit unnecessary to keep telling us how misbehaved Duke is after the first mention
