I do not feel listened to. Instead, I feel embarrassed when I bring up my health concerns. Although he has been kind and professional in my one and only interaction with him, I feel he rushes too quickly to send me for second opinions and referrals that are not necessary. For example, I have a wonderful optometrist treating my dry eye condition with tear duct implants. But the doctor did not hear me correctly and assumed that doctor had been treating me for 10 years and rushed me to a cornea specialist for a second opinion. The specialist had a doctor listed that never saw me, but was my mothers brain radiologist. Im responding well to the treatment and had simply asked for autoimmune testing, which was not granted. This leaves me feeling very discouraged and unheard.

I was at the practice for 12 years on and off. I went to the practice because he was a highly recommended internist. At that time the procedure was you would see Dr. Sash and then you would see his NP. I have very complicated medical needs and I felt taken care of. I am disabled, and am on many medicines. According to my medical records, I havent seen Dr. Sash in person since 2015. Ive called their office for wounds that did not heal for months and their phone nurse at the old office said well we can see you in 3 weeks. I havent gone to the office for a sick visit in years because they would say they could get me in in 3 days for the flu or an ear infection. The medical assistants are fine. Receptionists at the Bellemeade office were not good. I was yelled at for trying to schedule a physical. My family begged me for years to get out of this practice, but I was afraid. In June I had my second pulmonary embolism in June. I went to my physical in August and asked to be tested for a clotting disorder because my sister has one.and my first cousin has one. The NP refused because he said my clots were provoked. He also wanted to take me off of blood thinners. My OBGYN was the one who sent me to the hemotologist where it was discovered that I do have a clotting disorder. I am on blood thinners for life The office staff at the new building is much kinnder than the one at the old building, and I do like the new NP that they do have but it just wasnt enough. I felt like I received sub standard care for many years, and now that I have changed doctors, II feel free and I feel listened to again.

Dr. Sash is caring, thorough, compassionate and so is his nurse. I feel comfortable discussing any concerns with him. He performs as my primary care physician and palliative care. A wonderful physician!
