I agree with previous reviewers concerning wait times. Ophthalmologists offices are often very slow because it is not a fast process. In order to do the procedures and measurements needed to do a thorough eye exam you often have to wait for the eye drops to take effect, each individual takes different amounts of time. I dont believe any doctor wants to make patients wait.The reason why like him is that he is a very good diagnostician. He diagnosed my rare disease by examining my eyes where neurologists, and cameras practitioners had failed. Ill forever be grateful. He does not have best ,bedside manner, but that isnt most important quality when you have a problem with something as precious as eyesight.Ive found once he gets to know you he is very friendly. If what you need is the best outcome for your health Id recommend Dr Dukar.

Im rating based on bringing my Grandma since October. Normally he isnt too behind when it comes to appointments. I was told to let them know that I needed to be out of here today so I could drive the hour back home to get my 2 oldest from band camp. Well, Dr.Dukar is now 35 minutes late, which means I am not going to make it back in time to pick up my kids. This is NOT acceptable! Not only that when I called they said to let them know so they could get her through quicker. I did that, and have been sitting here for 36 minutes now. Im beyond pissed! A review I read about ripping tape off, I seen that for myself just last week after my Grandmas cataract surgery. He is a good doctor overall, he knows what he is doing, but for some reason he doesnt sit well with me, wait times are horrendous, and his compassion is tinier than a sharpened pencil lead. Sooo NOT happy over all of this!!! O and this doesnt even include the fact that my Uncle decided to quit bringing my Grandma to the doctor early 2017, so when I got involved and started making sure she had her appointments and got to them. I called Dukars office to set up the appointment and got griped at because she she hadnt been here in 6 months or so. Now we are still waiting today and he is 40 minutes late now. I see a lot of people coming out, but they have only called 1 back. Im beyond pissed!!!! 44 total minutes waiting to be called back. 10 minutes waiting in the room thus far. 😠😠😠

Not pleased with this doctor at all! my husband was in a serious work injury with the outcome of having to have the eye removed completely. dr. dukar did his surg. the day of accident. He came in and saw him the next day and was very rude, ripped the tape right off his face over the eye. which being in the health field i understand that going fast is better than slow... BUT! raising his voice at my husband because he said ouch was in my opinion uncalled for! this injury is life changing. We went to follow up appointment and my husband was trying to explain that his pain is horrible dr. dukar just talked over him and told him there should be no pain what so ever....BULL! i would not recommend this dr. No compassion what so ever!
