Money and ego makes this place go round and round

The staff is amazing! They welcomed me with open arms. I’ve never felt service like this in any type of clinic. They understood me and what I was going through. Their heart is truly real. Not to earn a paycheck, they seemed like they was there just for me! I would recommend this place to everyone that is dealing with any type of addiction. The treatment is helping me more and more every week. These guys literally cry with me. Wow! If I fail, they have taught me how to get back on track. I couldn’t do it myself. If you are serious these guys will meet you right now no matter what your life is like!

Best MAT center in Evansville! They treat you like a human and listen to your needs. Brandon and the staff are always there anytime of day. The staff is wonderful. But Brandon in particular has been a godsend for me. Giving me multiple chances when I didnt deserve none of them and has never turned me away! Tried all the medication assistance treatment facilities within 75 mile radius none of them compare.I drive 115 miles one way, to get the best treatment offered in the tristate!!

I waited so long to write this. I don’t know why. This is super long... but it’s a long story. I went to this doctor around October or November of last year. I told them from the VERY SECOND I walked in that I was allergic to naloxone. I have been to the ER 3 times trying to figure out what was wrong. I went to a cardiologist and a vascular surgeon all trying to figure out what was wrong with me. It turned out I was allergic to naloxone. My heart rate goes nuts and I start to feel like I’m going to pass out. My blood pressure drops. And I get dizzy. I was scared to even drive thinking I was going to pass out. I literally thought I was going to die taking suboxone. They said “ohhh that’s fine! We will prescribe you subutex” I had already been on it from my previous doctor in a different state. Anyways. They make you pay and then come once every week. I paid $225 ($175 at the downstairs clinic and $50 at their clinic, which they accepted) for that month. Well the third week I come in and they all the sudden decide they don’t prescribe subutex anymore. I tried to tell them I CANNOT take suboxone. I gave them the info for all of my doctors. They refused to listen to me. I wasn’t even allowed to see the doctor. They just brought out a prescription for suboxone and told me I had to take it, because as the lady at the front desk said “there’s no such thing as an allergy to naloxone” I showed them all the proof online that there IS an allergy. Even when you get the meds it says in the pamphlet “if you have these symptoms (all the symptoms I had) tell your doctor”. I never failed a drug test. There was absolutely no reason to do this. They told me I needed to go to an allergist and prove it. I told them I absolutely would. They still refused and tried to force me to take something that almost killed me. THEN they told me they would not refund the rest of my months money. They (the lady at the desk) said “just because you don’t like what a doctor says doesn’t mean you get your money back” so I found a new doctor....I call the clinic and tell them my new doctor needs a letter of dismissal. They tell me “okay come on in and we’ll give it to you!” So I come in and AGAIN the lady at the front desks tells me “oh sorry we have 30 days to give you the letter” I told her “MY APPOINTMENT IS IN 2 DAYS!!!” And she didn’t care. They wouldn’t give it to me. Thank GOD my new doctor accepted the fact that they refused to give me the letter.... . I have never felt so humiliated in my ENTIRE life as I did when I went to this awful place. They screwed me over worse than anyone I’ve ever met. And they claimed it was the “laws” but I’m 100% positive if someone has an allergy they are allowed to have subutex. And thank GOD my new doctor knows this. This blatant ignorance is going to get someone killed. The next person might not refuse the prescription of suboxone, because they are so terrified of withdrawals. I refused. I will always refuse to take something that might kill me. I don’t even know what steps I could take to fight something like this but it’s not right. Do NOT GO HERE. They don’t care about their patients AT ALL.

I’ve known Brandon since elementary school and when I found out my friend was battling addiction with pills, I knew he was the right person to contact. As a nurse myself, Brandon’s compassion, working knowledge of addiction and overall compassion are true assets when teaching and helping patients understand their disease/addiction process. I highly recommend his services. Seeking help can be a scary process and sometimes people like to hide their addiction due to embarrassment. Brandon makes this process as easy as possible by being empathetic and sharing his own personal stories.

This is probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with a treatment place. If you are thinking of trying to get clean and think about going here... DONT DO IT. They don’t care about your well-being they just care about how much money you’re gonna give them. And sadly the doctors make it very obvious they could careless about your opinion

If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. This place is just plain awful.They don’t care about you or your recovery, they want to take your money and taper you off Suboxone so you can go out and relapse and come back and pay them more money.Brighter Side treats you like a dope fiend and acts like you’re not clean if you want to stay on suboxone long term as a recovery method.A suboxone clinic that thinks to be clean means being off Suboxone totally is not the type of suboxone clinic I would recommend to anyone that is trying to truly change their life.Medication-assisted treatment is RECOVERY, and places like this are part of the problem surrounding Suboxone and the stigma attached to it.This place is just a waste of time if you’re trying to get clean and be in recovery. Save your time and money and find a new treatment place. There are WAY better treatment centers in Evansville.
