Its a nice Golds Gym. Clean.Could use more power racks, but other than that its pretty nice!

Went in for 7 day trial. The girl at the desk had me sign a waiver & then she said go ahead no tour or intro to the gym. It wasnt even offered. Im not looking for a big presentation, but heres the water fountain & the bathrooms are over there would be nice. They have plenty of equipment. There were quite a few people, but it didnt seem crowded.

This particular golds is one of the bigger ones in the area. Its not immune to the after work rush but alot of the time Im able to get my work out in when its packed.Its always clean on the work floor and in the facilities. The employees are cool folks. Recommend

Got the family 2 year plan. Very good price for my family. Love the cardio theater. There is a wet and dry sauna which I enjoy using. There are also massage chairs available to use. Lots of machines for cardio and lots of weights available as well.

Its easy to do your own thing here. Theres plenty of equipment.

I switched from the YMCA, which is only 10 minutes away from my home, to Golds gym, which is over 25 minute drive. Their standards, equipment, and gym atmosphere is far superior.YMCA is great for kids but the weight room feels extremely limited.

I was new to the location Dustin was very helpful, and the atmosphere was great💪🏽

Update- March 5th 2021, I have received my refund .I paid in full for a 18month membership and I did take a multi gym membership. Unfortunately, I had to move out of Evans, GA and Initially I moved to Warsaw Indiana, the closest Golds gym was like 50miles. I called the Golds gym and froze my account for few months. Then I moved to Plymouth Minnesota and guess what you can’t even find golds gym in google maps for this location . Finally , I gave a call to Golds gyms and told them I need to cancel my membership, they told me to send an email to Ken Lynch which I did, he told me to provide him a proof that I moved to Plymouth , so I did give me my lease agreement and this happened in August 2020, till today I haven’t received any refund .I have tried calling them several times , the people at front desk are so helpful , they do take a note of my issue and they try to help me but they say they will let their manage know (KEN LYNCH) and till today he hasn’t responded to my email or returned any calls.TWO STARS FOR FRONT DESK STAFF & THE GYM.JUST BE CAUTIOUS IF You’re paying In FULL.

Best gym for the whole familys workout.

Large, fully equipped gym with 3 squat racks, deadlift platforms and 2 leg presses. plenty of benches and weights to go around. several cable machines and plenty of other machines and cardio equipment. was only visiting for a week but overall this was the best gym Ive been to in a while.

Nice gym! Clean and spacious. Tons of free weights!! They have a Suana and Steam room which is a plus.

I love this gym! Staff is very helpful and polite, the workout areas are always clean and sanitized, and its a great environment for anyone to work out in! Very highly recommend this location!

Staff is friendly, cleanliness is very good, equipment is average though nothing spectacular or special in the equipment field. Pretty decent overall though and super happy to have a decent 24 hr gym.

That steam room is everything. Infrared sauna too.

Solid gym. Decent size and mix of equipment, but what impresses me most is how CLEAN it is. Literally just watched staff wipe down EVERY MACHINE from top to bottom.

Checked it out and it seems to be a solid place to work out. I have no desire for any business to have access to my bank. I will pay it all up in one payment, 29.99 a month.

The gym and location itself is not bad at all but the communication or the lack there of is no good here. I have been on military orders trying to cancel as they told me I was able to avoid the fees and they have not responded at all to me. I am paying all of this money which to me 30 a month is not worth this gym I used to be a member at the YMCA and they had outdoor pools and basketball courts etc for the same price and that gym was very easy to cancel where this place has not answered me at all and I have tried to contact them. Once again the gym is not bad I say it’s not worth the price for what they have personally but the experience of trying to cancel and then them not answering me to have this happen is absurd!

Okay I am willing to admit I have fairly high expectations when it comes to a gym. I’ve trained in 5 different states over 20 different cities and this Gold’s Gym is amongst the top 10 gyms I’ve trained at. Girl at the reception desk with the cool purple hair is always super sweet but today she saved my life, my only tie broke in the parking lot, she came through and helped me out. It wasn’t a huge gesture but it added to the great energy I always get from this gym and location specifically.

I really like how the gym is always open. I can work out whenever i want. I enjoy the daycare my daughter just loves going and she adores a night time teacher Angela i think is her name. I know she works parents night out because is she there everyone and i am glad my daughter is able to see a teacher she adore. I though we would have trouble when we join but everyone made it easy. All the staff saying hi and just making that one and one talk is good. Thank you again for making us feel welcome and please let Angela know she is doing a great job!

Pretty great gym for the cost. They have a neat cardio theater that you cant watch movies while working out. Also, they have a neat steam room you can go to when you are done working out or before. They also offer childcare services for those who need it. Tanning is also offered there.

Love this place

Affordable gym with lots of equipment and many group classes. I like that you can use Golds in other cities while traveling. If you want extra guidance try a personal trainer who will work with you one-on-one. I have never had trouble finding an empty treadmill and because Golds is open 24h you can workout at the time that suits you best.

Good staff nice equipment fairly clean bathroom. Sauna did not smellike sweat and stink so great job on that. Still new will update later.

Great gym! The only thing Id change is the bulbs in the tanning beds, they really dont work. You can only go in for 7 minutes, which is odd cause you can go for 20 everywhere else. It doesnt even start getting hot in 7 minutes, so essentially its a waste of time.. Other than that, theres tons of equipment n classes to keep it interesting. Staff is helpful n friendly n make you feel very welcomed. The theatre room is pretty awesome.

I’m updating again, as I have emailed all the POCs, talked with the front desk staff and left reviews over 2 weeks ago. Absolutely no response from management. If that’s a concern for you, as it is for me, sign your contracts wisely. Its still the best gym and overall best deal in the area. I recommend, but with a warning... and without a strong recommendation.It has gone down-hill over the last year. The staff sits around with their phones in their faces while members are mopping up a leaking AC unit that is getting plates and equipment soaked. (Im not talking about the guy who works the desk at 5AM. Hes the only one there and is always busy and always says hello and tracks who is coming and going.) Im talking about the pack of young girls who are apparently getting paid to sit at a desk and check their phones during the day-shift. Ive been asking for staff to push the squat racks back near the mirrors for over 4 months now (they are gradually moving into the other squat racks and away from the mirrors from general use). The cleaning staff is friendly and are doing their jobs. However, the front desk team needs to have their duties updated and keep the place in general order. You can put up all the signs in the world, but the business is still responsible for general tidiness and order. Im tired of walking around for 15 minutes looking for random weights thrown wherever.

I wish I could give this gym zero stars. Dont join unless you plan on being a member for the rest of your life. The franchise owner is a crook. He refuses to cancel my membership or return calls, and blocked me from their Facebook page when I left a comment asking about why he doesnt return messages. As someone who used to work at a gym, his complete lack of character astounds me.

I really appreciate they allow power cleans at the gym. I wish they had more equipment available. For the price though its not bad.

The facilities are great. The prices are much better than EFC and being open 24 hours a day is fantastic. Most of the people that work there are really nice too.

They add the hydro bed but wanna charge u $10 more per month for a total of $29.00 month...but yet u can go to the other golds gym and not be charged more than $19 for all same amenities. not to mention the staff in Evans sucks. bobby jones is way better helpful staff and nice to you I’ve been a member for over 5 years and this is how u treat your customers golds gym Evans ga WOW!!!! Big place with a lot of room to just workout and not be clustered with othera. Clean locker rooms and the sauna add to the gym appeal. Would recommend this place to others.

This is a 3.5 🌟 golds. Some of the staff are super nice. Some are completely rude. NO ONE LIFTS AT THIS GYM. There are usually 4 dudes standing around a chick talking smack about everyone. Its a show gym. Has a green mat and great equipment. But, everyone is uppity and stares....alot. Crappy people. Not bad location. Good hours. Dont use if youre actually trying to lift. No plate loaded equipment. Gigantic cardio area.

Really nice gym just a shame that they dont have unlimited guests here. Now I find myself working without my friends which gives less motivation to go and more motivation to cancel the membership.

I am so disappointed in the child care you guys provide I will not be taking my daughter here. It is a shame because I really wanted to join. As soon as I walked in I had a bad feeling dropping my daughter off. It seems like social hour for your employees. First of all they weren’t welcoming at all. I asked them what do I do with her and they just said “oh just put her anywhere on the floor.” Umm... okay? Don’t even give her age appropriate toys and make it my job to look around and find her something to and play with. And the only thing they had to ask me was if my daughter can crawl. I don’t know but I feel like if I’m going to take care of someone else’s child for an hour or two I would want to know more than if that child can crawl. How about do they need a bottle while you’re here or does she have snacks? Is she going to need a nap? Stuff like that so I know what the child will need and make my job easier too when they get fussy. The bags are on the floor too in a cubby and my daughter likes to put everything in her mouth. She can actually open zipped bags and take stuff out. That raised a red flag too because what if there’s loose change in other peoples diapers bags or small things she can choke on? Also, there were way too many pre-schoolers running back and forth and I felt like my daughter was going to get trampled! When I went to go get her she was crying so hard my heart just dropped. No wonder she was crying. She was scared! I asked if the different age groups are always put together and one of the employee said “it’s usually like this unless it’s gets busier with older kids we put them in a different room”. I will never ever take her there again. If your child is old enough to walk and do for themselves and tell you their physical needs then I don’t see a problem with putting your kid there but I don’t recommend their childcare for babies and toddlers at all! I’d rather pay extra to stay at the Y because I never have a problem. I can workout and de-stress without feeling more stressed than I first came in. They change diapers there too and automatically ask you questions because they honestly do care.

I wouldn’t go to this gym if you want to do anything other than the elliptical or your work schedule allows you to go midday. This place is way over crowded. Staff does not enforce putting equipment away (they also don’t go around and do it) so you have to walk around looking for plates that should be on the rack or bench you’re using (if you even get to use a rack or bench without a long wait).
