I cant believe some of these reviews. Obviously youre just unhappy you didnt get your way. I have been seeing Dr Hanflink for a couple years now due to the VA not being so accepting of the medical marijuana program , and he is one of the best Pain Management doctors around. I have suffered terribly for a long time prior to seeing the Dr here. And the staff? Rude? You have to be kidding me! They are the kindest most compassionate Dr office around. Get real. No offense but rude comments are unacceptable to this group of people. I would give 6 stars if possible. Thanks for helping my life be at least mostly pain free, and giving my life back. You guys rock! Dont listen to these people complaining.

I found a doctor who cares about me as a patient. He took the time to treat my knee in a very efficient manner. I would recommend him to anyone.

I had a good experience with the doctor but I cannot say the same about the staff. My first appointment was scheduled then they called me a week before asking to change the time. I was amenable and said no problem. A day or two before the appointment, I received an automated call to remind me of my appointment and the automated system told me it was the original time, not the time the appointment had been changed to by the person that called me from the office. Like any reasonable person, I called trying to find out when exactly my appointment was. I left message after message and sent an email, finally somebody called me back and said that nobody had called me from the office to change my appointment and that my appointment time had always been the same. I explained to the young lady that I wasnt hallucinating, looked it up in my call log and told her the date and the time the person called. Long story short on that end, ended up keeping the original appointment and everything went well. I really enjoyed my time with the doctor and he seemed to care. I had been with the same doctor for pain management prior to Dr hanflink for 7 years. He passed away suddenly and was a one man practice. Dr. Hanflink wrote my prescription and had me schedule an appointment for facet joint injections. The first one didnt do much but thats to be expected. I came in for the second injection and did get some relief. A week or so before the third injection was scheduled, I received a phone call from a member of staff telling me that my insurance company had denied the third injection. I called Humana, that info was not correct. The 3rd injection WAS approved, they failed to get authorization for the 1st procedure. I was a little miffed about it but I certainly wasnt rude. I told the young lady that Humana had a very different story to tell and that I would appreciate them getting the prior auth handled going forward. I received a letter in the mail 3 days later discharging me from the practice. I have had 6 spinal surgeries and have a painfully debilitating spinal condition that has left me out of work for more than 3 years. Its unconscionable that a polite dispute over and authorization would result in me losing my doctor. Now Im having to scramble to find a new one. My PCP has taken over for now. They are so unprofessional, they cut off my access to the portal with my patient records & have failed to respond to 3 faxes and 2 emails from my PCP asking for records. Dr. Hanflink treated me well, the staff members are completely incompetent. Apparently the one who is the most offensive is his wife. The staff has no idea what they are doing. They cant blame it on being busy, every time Ive gone in I have been the only patient in the building and there hasnt been a single car in the front parking lot. I do not appreciate them holding my records hostage and I will be filing a complaint with the medical board and the department of health. Its a shame the staff acts like children because Dr. Hanflink seemed like a good doctor. If they even bother to respond to this review, Im sure they will blame it on me. Seems to be a pattern with them. Do yourself a favor and find a different practice unless you want to be left suffering in pain and you dont mind your records being held hostage. I was unaware of the medicare fraud issues stated in previous reviews so its likely for the best anyway.

Was referred by my Moms primary for my Mom. She wanted to get injections for her back. Doctor said he gave her an injection but I do not believe he did. I went with her to appt and he asked that I step out to perform the injection. They were in there about two minutes. I got her home and SHE SAID TO ME that he did not remove her jewelry nor turn the lights out or even move the Xray machine (used to pinpoint injection). Shes had them in the past so I checked for an injection site and NOTHING was there. She got no relief as well. After researching him which I should have done prior I found he was convicted for Medicare fraud just last year.UNBELIEVABLE

This is the most unprofessional place Ive ever called. I emailed first. This is a long post but worth the read.**My first email, asking questions and they respond with Hi Les,Yes, we do injections and medication. The best way to become a new patient is to call us. We will tell you everything your need to know.Kind Regards,Cory Hanflink** So, I called and had the nastiest person on the phone. I hung up and sent this email. Theyre so proud of themselves. My email: Dude. What a horrible experience trying to simply get an appointment. The lady said I had to 1) get a referral from whos been treating me (you cant request medical records like everyone else? Im not in good health and have a lot of doctors. My pain management doctor is too far since I moved here) 2) have the imaging and discs/reports sent over? I have these. I have this all on a disc, along with the report. I wouldnt have been able to see an orthopedic surgeon, chiropractor, and neurosurgeon without them. But you cant take them?Im having a T5-T8 discectomy performed very soon. I have the advantage plan that I have (PPO) so I dont need referrals. And Im new to pain management - only the last few months, but my doctor is near my old home in Orlando. You are 3 minutes away, but you are way.too.complicated.Im sorry I called.---- the employee was a complete waste of fresh air----- and then they reply with this:** Dude. Im sorry you called and wasted our employees time. Every pain management doctor will need those things from you. You said you are new to pain management? Well we arent, this is how these things work. We cant request medical records without your signature, its illegal. We need the report to find out what is wrong with you, or else the doctor cant treat you, thats kind of how doctors work. We are not hurting for patients, and because of your attitude, we would not accept you as a patient now anyway. Good luck finding someone to treat your pain, your going to need it!BYE!**-----------What a rude, nasty professional response. So I did a little investigating on my own, and Im glad Im not going there. I already told them I had everything they needed in my hands.Apparently, though they brag about how many patients they have, they probably arent real, pain-management candidate patients. Theyre probably their medical marijuana patients.*MEDICAL MARIJUANA RIPOFF*- This is not what I was coming for, but this doctor recommends medical marijuana, but charges to add smokable and charges every 2 months. He is the most expensive quack you will ever find! And his office staff Corey does nothing but lie and try to save face. Ridiculous!!!
