I have used Dogtown for both day care and overnight care. I can’t say enough to good things about the caring staff, the attention to detail, and the cleanliness of the facility. I was floored when they remembered my dog’s name after only being there one time (and we use DogTown as needed, not like every day). They immediately made accommodations for my golden since she was an older girl and was happier in a calmer environment at times. I would trust any Dogtown with the care of both my dogs. It’s just an exceptionally managed business that doesn’t at all feeling like a “kennel.”

We have used Dogtown services in two locations depending on which direction our take us. Lindy was attentive to our needs and daily updates were greatly appreciated. Our last trip 2 weeks ago was last minute due to a family emergency. The staff went out of their way to accomodate our 3 dogs.

Overall not bad. Most staff send really nice and its great they are available 24/7 for pick up and drop off. Just wish they would communicate a bit better. Maybe call when my dog wasnt eating for almost 3 days straight so we could advise them on what to do. Also we are always really clear about our dogs food allergies. But twice she came home really sick and it was clear they gave her food they shouldnt. Overall though, not a bad place. Just know if you intend to send your dog there, you need to have an evaluation day before you can board them there.

I recommend Dogtown to everyone who is looking for short or long-term boarding or daycare for dogs and cats. Every employee and manager truly cares for the animals utilizing Dogtown each day. They offer training, grooming, day care, and long term boarding for dogs and cats. It is open 24 hours so it works great for those with non-traditional working schedules and those who travel often or even rarely.

I know some of the managers and the owner of Dogtown and I trust them and their mission completely. They are kind and empathetic and go above and beyond for people and pets. It hurts me to see people who attack this business or any business with no context and no inquiry into the potential for skewed information. Is dog daycare dangerous—it certainly can be—we are talking about animals here. If you cant accept that, find a kennel and isolate your dog. Does Dogtown need to provide webcams—no, their competitors don’t, but Dogtown does, for your peace of mind. Could they lock dogs in kennels overnight—yes, but they would rather cuddle with them. Do they need to pay staff overnight and keep their doors open 24/7 for people who need flexibility like medical workers—no, but they care and understand the stress that can happen with life. They want to be there for hard workers. My dogs are loyal to Dogtown forever, and I would recommend Dogtown to anyone. Don’t listen to haters.

I had a membership to the is Dogtown location from July-September (cancelled today) for 6 daycare visits a month for my small dog. I have a small JRT mix, shes about 20lbs. She is always put in with the big dogs, which I initially had no issue with. We have 2 large dogs (over 60lbs) and she is used to playing and interacting with large breed dogs. However, I no longer believe that my dog is safe at this facility. On one instance, Nelly came home with blood on her and a small puncture. Shes a rough player, but no one addressed it nor was a notified. There was enough blood that it was clearly ignored and impossible to not notice. On another instance, when I came to pick her up the front desk attendant told me that she wasnt there. But I could clearly see her on the camera. They forgot to check her in. The desk attendant then told me that this was happening often and there were two dogs there that were being boarded for the whole weekend that never got checked in. This means that special instructions could not be followed, if your dog isnt checked in how do they know to feed them? Finally, there was a time where we dropped our dog off and were going to pick her up later through out the night. It was a weekend and we had plans that kept us out late. On the way home we were checking the cameras, our dog was crying and scratching at the bedroom door and frantic. We watched her continue to make noise for several minutes. She ended up having an accident in the bedroom. The most frustrating part about this was the attendant was laying on a dog bed in the big dog room the entire time, I cannot confirm if they were asleep or not, but they were clearly not doing their job. There are many bad stories coming out about this place, and I would not take your dog to this facility.

Just picked up our sweet dog. After watching him look lethargic on camera, they let us know that they just noticed a ‘hot spot’. They were completely unapologetic and charged us $45 per night…. Now We get to spend an additional $200+ on a vet bill. Don’t take your dog here!

REMOVE YOUR ANIMALS FROM THIS DAYCARE AT ONCE! They do not care about your animal like you do. They will neglect your dog and lie to you. They should be shut down. They should be ashamed of themselves. Send your sweet babies anywhere but here. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SAVE YOUR BELOVED FAMILY MEMBERS FROM THIS FACILITY.

The accounts of downright neglect to the animals in this facility speak for themselves. Your dogs are not safe here. They preach transparency with these cameras, yet when that womans 4lb 13 year old dog was MAULED by larger dogs, and it was WITNESSED on camera by another client, they STILL lied to the owners, saying first it was a heart attack after a couple of rambunctious Chihuahuas tried to play with her.. The giant bite/drag wound on that poor babys neck says otherwise.. Not to mention if your dog is attacked here, they wont attempt to get them to a clinic, they will just throw their poor little body into the freezer... What a company.

Don’t take a chance on this place with the “it won’t happen to me” mentality. If you do, there’s a real possibility you will return to an injured dog or NO DOG AT ALL. This is an entirely unsafe place which consistently neglects dogs, can’t be bothered to give them any attention, and will lie to your face about what happened when you weren’t present. Please heed the warnings and do business somewhere else that actually cares about dogs

This place should be out of business - close the doors, go home and rethink what you actually want to do. The way you handled Bella was disgusting, your responses show ZERO remorse, empathy or transparency for the dog or the owner. You let a 4lb dog get viciously killed while it was sleeping, told a witness (who posted a review here) it was a small portion of an event (implying the small dog did something to provoke it?), you then DELETED THE FOOTAGE, yet conveniently had footage just prior to the event (how does that work? Unless it was manually deleted, this was obviously intentional or, let me guess, a technical issue that is being reviewed? bs), then you put the dog in a freeze without attempting to help it. Disgusting.

Dogs are attacked and die here regularly. Staff felt it was reasonable to put a senior 4lb Yorkie in the same room as multiple large dogs, and the larger dogs attacked her and killed her. Staff not only stuck her in the freezer instead of calling medical services, they lied to the owners and told them it was a heart attack when the poor dog had obvious wounds. I honestly hope that charges can be pressed and this place can be shut down. If the owners of Dogtown are reading this, you ought to be ashamed of yourself. I don’t know how you sleep at night.

NEVER send your pets here! They put a 4 pound yorkie in a room with 40 pound dogs and she was attacked and killed. They then proceeded to lie to the family and put her in a FREEZER. This place is disgusting and needs to be sued. It’s not worth risking your pet’s life by sending them here.

We dropped off our 5 month old lab puppy for the weekend since we were going to Virginia to visit family. I checked the webcams frequently from my phone throughout the drive. Later in the evening I happened to pull up cameras on a room labelled small dogs and witnessed a small dog attacked by a larger dog and 2 smaller dogs. It looked like they were playing rough at first, but it was clear they werent when I saw the larger dog drag the small one by its neck. This happened in under a minute (who knows how long it was going on prior to me signing in). As soon as I realized what was going on I called the center immediately and got no response. There wasnt an answer and I assume they were handling the situation because when I signed back into the site, the dogs were gone. That smaller dog ended up dying (Saw the lifeless body on one of the webcams). My husband and I turned the car around and drove back to Kentucky to pick up our puppy. After witnessing that, we were not leaving her there. I am still in shock as to what I witnessed. This was not my dog, but it could have been. My heart goes out to the owner of that poor dog... I cant even imagine. I dont know what their supervision policy is or how they are staffed, but those dogs should not have been left unsupervised. I understand that injuries can happen when dogs play.. but this incident should never have happened.

We boarded our 10 month old Goldendoodle at Dogtowns Erlanger location last month and we could not be happier! Their Webcam access made this first time separation much easier to check in on our pup. While our girl was obviously homesick due to the amount of food that was returned to us on pick up, she was in good spirits and the staff was very kind and had lots of nice things to say about her stay. We will be using Digtown again in the future.

We love Dogtown! My pup comes home wore out, but she plays hard! She loves being able to play all day while were at work rather than being locked in a crate. We love being able to drop our dog off somewhere we can check in on her via webcam throughout the day. I 100% recommend Dogtown!

I would not send your dog here. Today I saw on their cameras an employee grab a dog by the neck/collar and throw them in a crate. Also I have seen the employees be very rough with the dogs. When I got home after I picked my dog up half way because of what happened I noticed a big cut on her inner back leg. This is not the first time she has come home with cuts. She has multiple scars now. They leave the dogs alone multiple times a day. Also with cameras being 24/7 you would think that they would care a bit more but no. Do not send your dog here.
