Rick and crew Moses and Lacey came this morning to install a 220 outlet in my garage as well as several 110 outlets in my basement. Their suggestions for most efficient work - and therefore saving some bucks- were smart. Prompt communication, personable, efficient, a pleasure to work with. I would use again in a heartbeat and fully recommend their services.

As the owner of a local woodworking company, we often times need assistance with the installation of LED lights for our custom cabinet projects. We contacted a few service providers in the area but Ram Electric was the most responsive. We had a quote with a day or two and the work was completed in the timeframe indicated with no additional surprise costs. Our interaction with Rick was enjoyable and we plan to use this company again in the future.

Extremely uncomfortable experience as a woman. I got a quote from Rick Markwardt, a seemingly friendly individual, for adding recessed lights in our new house in Erie Colorado. I got quotes from other electricians as well and ended up going with a company that provided us a more competitive quote. My husband left Rick a voicemail to let him know that we had picked someone else and that we would keep him in mind for any future projects. Nothing weird in that right? You get quotes from different people and make a choice as a customer. What happened after that is what concerns me, Rick proceeded to send me multiple text messages asking who did we go with to which I did not respond and ended up blocking him because I thought it was weird since we had already politely told him we appreciated his quote but we were not interested . Well, HE SHOWED UP TO MY HOUSE UNANNOUNCED and approached me when I was outside talking to another contractor and proceeded to ask me if my electrical work had started and what company I was using, I was STARTLED to say the least and a little scared to see this person in my house and I told him I was going to go get my husband. He said oh your husband is home? (My husband was not home the day Rick gave me a quote.) I said “Yes, he is” and started going up the stairs as rick kept walking towards me. I closed the door and told my husband one of the electricians we got a quote from was outside asking questions and we went back outside together. Rick asked my husband what company did we go with that he knew all of his competition and at that point the whole situation felt really weird and uncomfortable, Rick said he would find out sooner or later who we went with because it was a matter of public record to which my husband said that’s fine but we are not sure why you are here now. He said he wanted to make sure “we were happy in our new house” (what??!) This situation left me unsettled because it felt like Rick wanted to intimidate me for having picked a different company and I told him this could be interpreted as harassment and that he doesn’t know me and has no right to “stop by”. He said that I did not respond to his multiple texts and he wanted to know the name of the company we went with instead of him. I don’t know in what world it would be ok for a company to show up to your house to learn the name of who they lost a bid to. I’m not sure if he planned to harass our new electrician or what but after this encounter I felt it was necessary for us to report this to the Erie Police Department and also the town building division since we felt it was extremely weird. I felt like if I got a quote from Rick, I am not allowed to pick someone else to do the job, really strange especially considering the company has really high reviews (reason I call them for quote being new in the town of erie) I wish someone would have told me that if I got a quote from Rick I was not allowed to say “no thanks” and I would have saved myself So much distress and anxiety from this unfortunate interaction.

They did a great job on a large project at my home. They got everything done in one day, with no drywall damage (other quotes I received told me it couldnt be helped), and they had the best price of the quotes I received. Everyone was friendly, professional and punctual. Id highly recommend them, and will be happy to use them again when the need arises.

Rick from Ram Electric was awesome and fixed my problem quickly. He tried to talk me through a few steps before he came out to save a trip charge which was very appreciated! Once he arrived he diagnosed the problem pretty quick. He had to run and get some parts but returned and had it installed in 20 minutes. Very professional and nice.

Rick stopped what he was doing to help me troubleshoot my wiring issue. He had the issue narrowed down within 5 minutes. He arranged to have his crew swing by on their way to another job the same day.His crew was fast, professional, knowledgeable, and explained the repair clearly. They took extra steps to protect the carpet and left no traces. We have already recommended them to our other friends. Top notch service.

While I have not had Ram Electric actually perform any fixes, I have called twice and with Ricks help I was able to solve the issues on my own. No charge, excellent service. I will definitely be calling them when I have a problem that I cant fix on my own. Very professional and courteous.

Ram Electric is amazing! They came and hung a GIANT, heavy chandelier in my house - I have extremely tall ceilings and I know it was a lot of work, but they were so focused - like a perfectly tuned NASCAR pitstop. They got it done quickly and perfectly, leaving the place looking better than before. I would never use anyone else! Highly recommended.
