I never write reviews - but after my emergency services call with Nathan after hours today, I had to write a review. I am in the middle of a home closing, buyers did final walk through today, and noticed the ceiling fan in the living room was not working. I called Southpaw and they immediately responded to my urgent needs. I know my call was not critical, on the long list of potential things a homeowner may need, but it was critical to me. In todays world where we dont have enough people to fill the needs for service (Im an HVAC specialist, so I understand), along with it being peak season for many of us, I cant express my thankfulness for coming so quickly. If it hadnt been for several of my co-workers referring me to you, I dont know that this would have gotten done. THANK YOU!

Critical: ProfessionalismDriver likes to cut off trucks, plate # BNF-S36. knowing the lane ends ,he would rather cut off a Simi going the speed limit than STAYING back where he was and moving over. I am sure his recklessness Is appreciated by all around him!!!

Had someone come out to see the scope of the job. Told we would have an estimate in about a week. After 10 days I emailed - no response. After 13 days (on a Monday) I called and was told they would try to have an estimate at the end of the week. Never heard from them that week.

South Paw Electric runs a great company! I have had them to our house several times and always been very happy with both my electrician and the job done. They were patient with me and my ideas and ultimately did exactly what I asked for. Best of all, they didnt leave a mess behind them as other companies have done in the past. Trevor, the owner was very professional to deal with. I highly recommend South Paw Electric!

Southpaw Electric worked on our house as an electrical subcontractor to the GC. Nathan and his crew were extremely friendly and professional from top to bottom. If anything needed to be addressed during the process, they had a crew over almost immediately to solve the problem.

Invoice was 2 times what was quoted for a very simple job.We needed two entry lights replaced and only needed help because we didnt have a ladder tall enough to reach the 18 foot ceiling. We were quoted $140 for time and $35 for ladder rental.A journeyman (did the work) and apprentice (watched) were at our house for 45 minutes, so imagine our surprise when we were billed $335 - or 2.5 hours of time plus $47.50 ladder rental. Evidently, without telling us, we were billed for them to go from shop to Home Depot to our house to Home Depot to their shop (A trip that Google Maps says takes 48 minutes in total) and spend another hour doing who knows what.My husband spent 15 minutes on the phone explaining to Trevor exactly what was needed, the size and weight of the fixtures we had, and the space they were being put into, so that we could get a valid quote before they came to our house.The workers were nice and polite and did what was asked of them - thats why Im giving them two stars.Update:Found out that the Erie based company that I hired because they are 5 minutes from my house rolled a crew from Boulder and that the customer evidently gets charged from wherever the crew happens to be. I guess to make more money, they should start dispatching from Cheyenne. At this point, I would give them 0 stars, but will leave it at two because I want my review to be taken seriously.Finally: Beware the 5 star review from Sierra Lewis - she works for the company.

Excellent electricians and excellent customer service. My basement electrical was a mess from a previous electrician. Southpaw did an amazing job fixing all the botched work from the previous guy. They were easy to schedule, showed up on time and knocked it out quicker than expected. Their pricing was also better than other electricians who quoted the job. When I had some invoicing questions, Peter called me personally to help sort it all out. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend SouthPaw!! They were incredible to work with from start to finish. Sierra is a pleasure to schedule and book the job; Nathan was the best electrician by far - that we met with, and he has now completed two jobs for us. Nathans expertise was also invaluable in dealing with our HOA and drilling into our concrete ceiling. They are extremely competent, thorough, respectful, have fair pricing, and the crew (Dillon and Riley) were a pleasure to be around. The first job they did for us was to run some cables/wiring through the walls and ceiling for our home office and entertainment area; and the second was to install track lighting and install dimmer switches. They are fast and did a great job of cleaning up as well! We would not hesitate to use them again, and frankly could not recommend them more!

Im a pretty handy guy.. had an electrical issue that caused multiple outlets, switches and ceiling fan to short out.. I couldnt figure out the problem and was skeptical that it would likely take all day and a high price tag to get an electrician out to resolve my (electrical) issues. Nate showed up.. within 45 minutes the whole issue was resolved.. Nate was extremely competent, was more than fair with me on his service charge (much less than I had anticipated) and he was focused on getting everything working as quickly as possible. Nate will be my go to electrician for any electrical problems that this old house brings my way. THANK YOU NATE!

I was in a financially difficult place and very concerned about an electrical situation. They came out and found the problem (which turned out to be smaller than we thought) and did not charge me for their time. Because of this act of kindness, I will always recommend them.

Trevor, Nathan and the gang did an amazing job on a very complex commercial kitchen. They were one of my favorite contractors on this job and Ill for sure be using them again.

Garbage company! It took around week to week and a half for someone to just come out and see what the job was. I was promised to have a quote on the following Monday, Tuesday at the latest, the walk through was on the prior Friday. After 2 emails on Wednesday and Thursday, no word on Monday or Tuesday, I finally received a response saying he hadnt got to working on the quote yet. So it is now 10 days after the walk through and no word from the company. Not sure how companies still can survive in an economy where they can just pass up work.

I received bids from 4 local electricians before I chose South Paw. They were the most reasonably priced, they were willing to work with my designs without saying that they had to bring it back to their designer to rework, they completed the work in a timely manner, their crew was friendly, they were tidy workers, and they did a great job. I have referred them to friends and clients of mine and will continue to do so in the future.

This company is excellent. They are very professional, tidy, on time and courteous--I highly recommend them.
