Very caring doctor who has helped a lot over the past 14 years.

Dr. Bryson misdiagnosed my son. In 2003 she continued to tell my husband and myself that my son who was 3 at the time had severe juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. We asked her to do more tests because he seemed to be getting worse with all the meds and treatments Dr. Bryson gave him and after researching, his symptoms didnt seem to match her diagnosis. When she acted like she was not concerned with my sons increasing pain, I chose to get a second opinion at Shriners Hospital in Erie. They did their own sets of x rays and tests and within 30 minutes 3 doctors came into the room and told me something a mother NEVER wants to her...I am sorry but your son Matthew has CANCER not arthritis. Dr. Bryson misdiagnosed my sons condition for over 6 months and she also misdiagnosed a broken leg. ???? For the next 4 years we made weekly trips to Childrens Hospital in Pittsburgh for chemo, blood transfusions and spinal taps. Matthew had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He is now 19 and is in remission. Dr. Bryson did not care about my concerns for my sons condition. She never even apologized when the Doctors from Pittsburgh let her know her mistake. DO NOT TRUST HER. The nurses who worked for her during that time were very rude to us when we would call and ask for help because our son would cry in pain. SHAME ON HER AND HER CREW. Thank GOD for Shrinners!!!!
