My husband and I have been going to Dr. Lim for many years and have always been treated well by Dr. Lim and his staff. He has kept a keen eye on various issues throughout the years. I would highly recommend him for any and all of your skincare needs. Kudos to Dr. Lim and his staff.

Recently had a little scare concerning my skin..Dr. Scott’s office got me in quickly. Dr.was thorough and reassuring. He treated my AKs quickly, and almost painlessly. Almost. He certainly has my trust and admiration. I have been his patient for about 30 years and with every visit I am grateful.. his education and experience is invaluable...

Our first experience with Dr Lim for both my wife and I and we were both very impressed. The office staff and Dr Lim are very Covid 19 conscientious. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our experience with Dr Lim was excellent. Very knowledgeable and both pointed things out as well as asked questions and answered others for us even before we had thought to ask them and I had brought a list with me. Highly recommended.

I saw Dr. Lim in October for a facial skin issue. He was condescending and completely uneducated about my issue. I went to a specialist in Ohio who was amazing and correctly diagnosed me and set me on a path to wellness. I will relay the correct diagnosis and information to Dr. Lim in hopes that he will become more knowledgeable and compassionate for his patients...I am certainly no longer one.

I waited 2 months for an appointment ... took time off from work ... got to the office and was told my copay was $65 to see a hand specialist. I thought I was getting a skin check. Is the skin on the hand any different then the other skin on my body?.! Anyway, I asked if they could hold my check for 2 days. The receptionist, who by the way, was snooty and flip, said she would have to ask the office manager. I gave her ID and my insurance card and proceeded to fill out all the paperwork. When I was finished, I was very meanly told that my appointment would have to be rescheduled if I didnt have a way to pay today.I told her not to bother and to shred my information. Needed that $65 today to make a payment on that big fancy building on the West side. Rudeness is not cool with me. I would never recommend that practice to anyone because of the staff ... and I didnt even get to meet the doctor.

Excellent physician, excellent staff. Dr. Lim has been my familys dermatologist for a number of years. His caring concern has always been more than appreciated. I highly recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lims for years now. My skin has improved tremendously since going to him. I highly recommend him.

I was told by a doctor in Pittsburgh before moving, to keep an eye on a spot on my nose at age 38. His biopsy was benign but he insisted that I keep an eye it anyway. By age 40 it seemed worse so I went to Dr Lim referred by a friend who went to him. He not only belittled me by telling me i ‘must be washing my face too hard.’ And refusing to do a biopsy for me for a checkup, he said “the repeat Bleeding on your nose there is cosmetic. Go to a plastic surgeon if it bothers you so much!” Well I went to Dr Bergqvist who is also in Erie. He did a biopsy first visit and was very concerned. Rightfully too because it was a surface and nodular type basal cell cancer. It was even deeper than he anticipated and I needed to have a piece of my cheek resectioned to my nose.A simple biopsy was all Lim needed to do instead of belittling me.

My son serves in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Just this week we received a certified letter informing us that he could no longer remain a patient with a Dr. Lim. My son called immediately in regards to the letters content and had explained thoroughly that he was in the Marine Corps and had been sent to Alaska for a special training program during his time of appointment. I normally do not post unlless theyre positive, although as a veteran this one really upset me. These guys are the ones that stand on the wall and watch over us as we sleep. this one just really crept in deep the reason for canceling him out as a patient. Dr. Lim answers all questions throughly, spends tine with his patients and makes sure that everything is understood!!

I was a long time patient of Dr. Lim, until the day he misdiagnosed me and told me my symptoms were non existent, or alternatively, “psychosomatic.” In lay man’s terms, he was telling me I’d made up my symptoms. Meanwhile, Id driven an hour for the appointment & wouldnt have done that if I did not in fact have a problem. Ultimately, I found a doctor months later at the cleveland clinic who diagnosed me. I will, however, never forget the condescending way Dr. Lim spoke to me. Nor how emphatic he was in his ignorance. He was completely wrong and my problem got quite severe. Thankfully the Cleveland Clinic has doctors who listen, or I’d be in rough shape. Tip to Dr. Lim - when you dont know something, just say you dont know. Its ok to not have an answer and to be kind and pleasant to your patients when you are not sure what is causing the symptoms.

I have had skin cancer in the past but was not comfortable with my doctor. When I decided to try Dr Lim I was pleasantly surprised to find how quick and easy it was to make an appt and how friendly his staff was. Dr Lim and his daughter took time to answer all my questions!

I was very excited to be recruited to work this fabulous group of people! I have witnessed first hand the compassionate and caring nature of the entire staff. We are small but we are mighty! Dr Lim truly cares about his patients well being. His type of care is sadly becoming more rare these days. He provides quality, top notch care. Lauren, our amazing CRNP, is extremely knowledgeable and thorough! Although I know getting in to see a dermatologist in our area is quite hard. Be assured that the quality and integrity of Dr Lim, Lauren CRNP and staff is well worth the wait. Dr Lim is notorious for solving difficult cases... people that have sought treatment for for years without results. They finally get an accurate diagnosis with an appropiate treatment plan. I may be bias as an employee but I trust my own care to this practice and my family! Please understand there is a shortage of dermatologists in our area and we try to accommodate people the best way possible. We never stop moving once we roll the phones over and open the doors. Ive been going to Dr. Lim since my teens. Hes always been very friendly and professional. Very knowledgeable, and he takes time to ask if I ever have any concerns.

Had an appointment scheduled at 9:10 AM as a new patient. I arrived at 8:50 to fill out paperwork. By 9:55 I was still waiting and when I asked the front desk, I was told it would be at least 10 minutes before I would be taken back to a room. I have my own business and cant start my day at 11:00 or later - which it likely would have been before I got out of the Dr Lims office so I could not stay for my appointment. Im and RN who worked in physician practice for over 20 years so I understand how scheduling is difficult in a practice. However, nobody offered any explanation or apology for running late so early in the morning. Considering the 8:00 patient was sitting beside me (she told me she overslept but was told to come in late) - its pretty hard to be running 1 hour late within the first hour of your work day. When I told the front desk I would need to leave, they offered me an appointment for the last week of August (over 4 weeks from today).

Wonderful doctor, cant say enough good things about their office staff and Doctor Lim and Im not related nor do I sugar coat, he is first class!

Ive been going to this office for more than a decade. Dr. Lim and his staff have always been friendly and professional. He has removed multiple basal spots and left the barest minimum scarring with his micro stitches.
