Office entryway and sitting area are filthy. Made me hesitate keeping my appointment as I walked in. I did follow through with my appointment however as it is only once a year with an excellent provider.

Just wanted to make sure I write to say how disgusted I am with this business. I have been a patient there for 20 years. Today I called because I was concerned about a mark I have and wanted to come in to have a screening done. I was told that because I havent been to the office since 2012, I am considered a new patient and they are not accepting new patients at this time. I then called a different business (a business that is much more respected in the Erie area by the way) and they got me in to see them in the next 2 weeks. When I told the receptionist my experience I had just had she was shocked and said that they have patients who have been with them 35 years and no matter how infrequently they come in, they would never cancel them as a client. In the end, I am so happy I found a different doctor to give my business to- but I am so absolutely disgusted with how I was just treated as a 20 year client of this business. Look elsewhere for better care than this place.Also- Im seeing on here one of their employees commenting due to the fact that this business is getting such terrible reviews from actual customers. One of her comments was there are 2 sides to every story? Let me make this perfectly clear....when you have to have an employee come onto google reviews to try and counter the onslaught of bad reviews- you are simply trying to save face. There isnt any 2 sides to my story....I was a 20 year patient and you told me because I hadnt been there since 2012 that my records had been destroyed and you werent accepting new patients. THAT IS THE ONLY STORY. I was calling to have a screening done for a mark that I am concerned about that could potentially be cancerous and YOU decided I wasnt considered your client anymore. And when I called another local business and told them what had just happened to me they were appalled. So stop putting your employees on this feed to try and act like you arent as bad as your reviews say you are. Its pathetic. Learn how to treat your patients with respect and dignity and maybe you wont have 1 star reviews across the board.

Unfriendly, condescending receptionist. Cringe-worthy how she answers the phone and replies to your question. I guess when your patient numbers are at capacity, and you do not need new business it is acceptable behavior.

Hands down, the most efficient medical office Ive ever been to. Ive never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room, oftentimes being called back immediately. The procedures are fast, efficient. I had a mole removed in less than 10 minutes with zero pain and perfect results. I am very happy with Dr. Baxter, T. and all the staff.

Office staff and doctors are caring and attentive. The doctors and physician assistants are knowledgable and listen to the patients to help diagnose the problems. I would recommend this office to any of my friends and family.

I called to make an appointment and was told my records had been destroyed and that I would be considered a new patient and they are not accepting new patients. My grandmother was a patient most of her life and I was since childhood yet it does not matter.

I have worked for Dermatology Associates for over 35 years. The doctors and staff go out of their way to try and accommodate everyones wants and needs to the best of their abilities. But there are always those few that dont get what they demand and go on social media to bash whoever did not bend to their will. We have well-established rules in the office regarding prescription refills, booking of appointment, etc... And when those rules are disregarded, appointments not kept, some disgruntled patients turn to social media to complain about our practice without telling the whole story. I gave Dermatology Associates five stars because we honestly try very hard to meet all of our patients needs. But please realize when reading reviews that there is always two sides to every story.

Extremely horrible receptionist. She answer the phone half the time. When she does answer she acts like shes doing you a favor. She talked down to me several times as if shes smarter (shes not)Patients are customers. She doesnt care.I was supposed to have a script called in to my pharmacy. Never was called in. I called Monday and she said it was in the mail. I called back Tuesday and she said they cant write a new prescription for the one I didnt receive. I said Id wait one more day to see if it came in the mailWednesday, five whole days later, I asked to have a new one called in. She says she wouldnt. She said its in the mail and theres no magical way to reach them.I asked to speak to her manager and she said he wasnt there. I asked when and she said the following day at noon. She said she couldnt guarantee her manager would be there.I told her I would call her manager. Funny thing, after I said that I finally got my prescriptions called in.Dermatology Associates does have the greatest useless, rudest, and lying receptionist of Erie.

Some skin cancers must be caught and treated early, or you’re dead. All are better treated sooner than later. The current wait for an appointment is six months. Need I say more?

This is the Dermatology Associates of Erie billing department responding to a review by N. Wol that stated we had billed their account for a visit that they did not have. To date, we have not been notified by anyone that this had occurred nor do we have N Wol in our computer system as a patient. Please call the office and speak to the billing department so that,if this is truly an issue, we can resolve it quickly.Dermatology Associates of Erie Billing Department

Once I had made an appointment the staff was great, but their phones are never on during business hours (it seems) and you cannot leave a message. This has caused a lot of problems with attempting to change the date of an appointment, and with refills, because they refuse to acknowledge the pharmacy if they call on behalf of the patient. I have tried for weeks to call them Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm and I always get the after hours message. I rate them this low because of their very poor system of contact and the time it has taken me to get a simple refill of an OCP due to a changed appointment time.

Very disappointed with my experience after being recommended to this office. There is a receptionist who is very short with potential patients over the phone. She did not show any concern when asked for a recommendation of a doctor with a focus in skin cancer issues. They are not taking any new patients at this time so do not waste your energy.
