The entire process from start to finish was super easy. There is no need to be super technologically savvy. You only have to know how to get into your email and click on a link! The layout is really simple and easy to figure out where things are. It took less than 5 minutes to get into the virtual meeting from opening my computer, logging into my email, clicking the link, and accepting video and audio. The audio was very clear and easy to understand. I dont know that I would ever want to do in person therapy after seeing how easy and quick I could do this. No need to even leave the couch! Also, as a mom of a young kid, I love that I dont have to worry about finding a sitter!

My child and I had a horrible experience with one of the therapist. The therapist started sessions for the child without the other parents consent. The therapist was manipulated by the childs the other narcissistic abusive parent, and supported and tried to defend him. The child didnt like the therapist either.

The other day I was made aware that LifeStance Health (Heart-Centered Counseling/AdvancedMD) is billing 4x the price of any other therapist we are working with or have spoken to. When questioned why they charge so much, their response was because we are able to.We all know mental health care is broken in America.. and this is simply another example of price gouging because we can.If you are currently looking for a therapist/counselor or other mental health provider, I encourage you to look elsewhere and not subscribe to businesses such as this.

I was skeptical at first but I was completely wrong. The whole process was so smooth and everything was easy. Audio and video is clear and there was no problems at all. This is great because it is simple and accessible so no worrying about leaving your home!

They are really great. Since the pandemic started they have been doing Zoom or Google meetings from home to keep their staff and patients safe. They will also work with you on payment options if you need help during this time.

I should have known they weren’t going to be very good when they were recommended by UCHEALTH. Their practices manipulate their patients and insurance requiring monthly 15 min appointments just to stay on their medications. So, every month you have to pay for an appointment ($$) and take off time from work ($$) just to keep on medication($$). I’ve only seen practices this manipulative in medical malpractice cases. If you’re stable on meds (like I have been for ~28 years), you would be wasting your money here. I’m moving to a place that isn’t using its milking it’s patients (and their insurance) like cash cows. Also, their support staff is exceptionally rude and they go out of their way to be unhelpful. You can take your practices and EaBoD, I’m going somewhere that actually wants to help people, not use them.

Scheduled an appointment with this office however never actually got to the appointment.I feel that if you’re running a “heart-centered counseling” practice, you should be at least friendly to the people calling in for an appointment. The girl who called me back and then called for reminder sounded as though she was bothered and was completely unfriendly... basically like if you were to meet a real life Alexis from “Shits Creek”.... season one. They cancelled my apt since I didn’t fill out the paperwork 4 days in advance........ which doesn’t make sense to me but okay.bummer.Good thing there’s a counseling office on every corner in this town! Going elsewhere, thanks!

I am not typically a person to place reviews but was compelled to share my experience at this wonderful place. From start to finish I received 5-star service. The process of verifying my insurance was efficient and accurate, the person scheduling my appointment was patient and my therapist is a perfect fit for me. I am thrilled to be able to use my insurance for counseling services and happy that Heart-Centered helped me to do that.

I decided to seek out counseling and my health insurance lead me to Heart-Centered. Ashley scheduled me with Ginger. A couple days before the first appt I emailed Ginger for the link to the meeting. I received a text with a phone number to call. I tried calling before the scheduled meeting to get the link, no answer. I received a call right when the meeting was supposed to start from Ginger who sent me a link for our appt. The first appt was In Take where she asked me questions. At the end she told me she would send me paperwork to fill out, a docusign and that she was really behind on paperwork. My second appt I had the link ready to go, and was waiting in the video room. Ginger showed up 5 mins late. During the appt, About 15-20 mins till the session was over, I notice Gingers eyes start to glaze over. Her head tipped down, and her eyelids got a little blinky/droopy, like she was about to fall asleep. Then she popped back to life. She informed me that our time was up 10 minutes before the hour, I asked her about the paperwork and she told me again she was really behind on paperwork. I also asked if I could move my next appt to earlier in the day (hoping it would be a better time). Then she cut the session 5 minutes early, right as I was saying wait! trying to ask her about payment.Afterwards I ended up cancelling future appts. Over all the feeling I got was abrupt. Additionally, I dont think the EMDR solution fit my needs. Gingers training seemed centered on that.

They do not answer or return calls. One time I called for a week and half w/ voicemails. And FINALLY someone answered. Now. I’ve been calling for a week. Leaving VMs and yesterday someone finally answered and promised I’d get a call back by end of the day. I didn’t. I got prescribed meds last weeks and been having a issue but they obviously don’t care much about that type of things. Once again this morning called and left a Voicemail. Not counting on a call back.

I tried the telemedicine platform, and it was as easy as using FaceTime. I was happy to find out that a teletherapy session would be HIPAA compliant. I would be comfortable using this method for help.
