This was a very good visit. Whitney, PA for Dr MacDonald, was knowledgeable, professional, on time and very helpful regarding my cardiac care. I look forward to my future routine visits and if I have an urgent matter, I know I’m in good hands with Dr MacDonald and his terrific staff

Your receptionist is rude and condescending. Hire a new one. Shes going to talk to someone who gives her the same attitude one day and she wont like it.

Second time giving this office a try and its just a REALLY bad scenario!!! They billed my insurance for a pacer interrogation that was not complete, at least not done as had always been done at my previous cardiologist. Then I had a visit to the pacer clinic and discussed Dr. Sundrum wanting to change my pacer so he could get me out of a-fib. The nurse and pacer person, who apparently is not a nurse, both told me that there is no way to ever get me out of a-fib. Funny, because I have notes Dr. Sundrum jotted down in front of me explaining how he would be able to get me out of a-fib. Finally, in addition to this, they bill for all kinds of nonsense I was never billed for at my previous cardiologist...an office I had been going to for 20 years!! THe billing my ins erroneously is a problem for me, but nurses giving me information contrary to the doctor gives me pause...based on my experience so far kinda suggests they are doing more than necessary, is medically necessary.

This is in no reflection to Dr. Schuchman, however, his partners: Dr. Kaufman and Dr. Eldridge are a disgrace to South Denver Cardiology associates! I began going to Dr. Joan Eldridge-a very nice and sweet person but she is VERY needy- she wanted me to come to her several times per year..WHY? I was fine- I could see visiting her once every 6 months put several times a year, really? I think she just wanted/needed money and to boot, every appointment was like deja’vu; she’d ask the same IDENTICAL question’s and gave the same IDENTICAL advice..OMG!! So, I stopped going to her and went to her partner, Dr. Pachello- great and wonderful doctor- no issues with him and unfortunately for me, he retired. The practice assigned me to Dr. Kaufman- OMG! What a piece of work! When the appointment clerk made the appointment, she never told me to bring my medication list nor anything else. Day of the appointment, I was running 2-3 minutes late, I called and told them that I was literally pulling in their parking lot and ask could they give me the name of their building and the suite #, I also ask, if it was ok to be about 3 minutes late? She said that was fine. When arrived Dr. Kaufman ask me for my Medication List and I told him it should be in the computer and he said he wanted an updated one, as the one they had was old. I didn’t know it off hand because I take quite a few medications- I offered to email it to them as soon as I got home. I also told him that no one explained that I needed to bring my med list. He said that wasn’t acceptable and he said; “I cannot see you, make another appointment” and the he walked out of the room. On my way out, I told him, his Medical Assistant and the Front office, DO NOT BILL ME, NOR MY INSURANCE and I will no longer subject myself to their unprofessionalism and I want my medical records because I am leaving their practice. Then to rub salt in my wounds, Dr. Eldridge called my Nephrologist and told him that they (meaning South Denver Cardiologist) refuses to see me anymore because I was 30 minutes late for my appointment and they will be dismissing me from their practice! Can you believe the unmitigated gall! So not only are they unprofessional, they are liars!

Patient with them twice. Excellent care at every level!
