Its my second time receiving service at this wonderful gem of Long Island. I recently had my nails done there and nearly one week later, they look as good as new. I received the dip-in powder refill with a chrome finish. I am very pleased. The premises itself is incredible. Everything is beautiful and clean. Its much bigger inside than it looks outside. They offer a variety of services: hair styling for all hair types, nails, a barbershop and they even have a VIP room for extra special pampering. There is always no waiting time and the staff are always very welcoming, happy to see me. I am a loyal client now.

My mom said it was the best pedicure she ever had! The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The technician took her time cleaned her feet well and oiled every toe. We both enjoyed our experience. We were offered water, tea or coffee while we were being helped. We felt like the rich and famous. Just our party was in the room and they took their time with both of us. It was great.

I used Sam she is excellent! I follow her every where. Shes the best. She knows exactly how to cut and style my hair. And I have very curly hair, and ahe can make it really straight. Love the new place 😊👍

I went to the Salon and Barbershop today with my son for back to school. The business was clean, safe and very professional. I had a great experience in which I was treated like someone important. I highly recommend this business and will come back with my fiancee for her hair and nails.

I took my son for a line up on picture day, the cut so clean it look like a new haircut instead. perfect location and professionalism I will definitely be back with my boy an for myself

Excited to try out this salon for nail services and potentially hair services, however they didnt open at their posted time on a Saturday. I called a few times during their open business hours in the morning and they still hadnt opened. They did call back and I was able to schedule an appointment for nail services. When I arrived the nail technician still hadnt arrived and was expected at 9:30 am even though their business hours are from 9 am - 6 pm. By 9:45 am I was tired of waiting and had to leave. Aesthetically, the establishment is lovely and well kept, but professionally they left a lot to be desired.

The place is beautiful and so HOLLYWOOD style. The staff are very pleasant and they go above and beyond in helping their customers. 5 STAR and MORE.

As a long time customer of A Cut Above, I regrettably have to report that as of August 1, 2020 this great hair salon has closed permanently. The owner has decided to retire and close down the business. My whole family got many great haircuts over the years there. We will miss this fine establishment and the dedicated/personable staff that worked there!

I have gone to this place for years. They work by appointments, and they never miss schedules. They truly provide A Cut Above in haircuts. I have always been pleased with the results.
