I was working out of state in Elmhurst during the week of 10/11/21 and had injured my eye cutting material. I had called Skowron and left a voicemail before their normal working hours to let them know my situation and they immediately returned my call and had me come right to their office. No wait. The office staff is very professional and Doctor Zory Stoev was great. She made me feel at ease and was able to treat my eye. They also had me come in the following day for a follow up visit knowing that I was driving back to Michigan. I can not thank them enough. If I lived in the Elmhurst area this would be my eye care facility.

Unable to get an appointment until Dec and its the 18th of Oct. Use to have no problem with appointments, unacceptable and unbelievable. A total disappointment 😞. Time for a new Doctor

After her first annual visit with Dr. Michelle Skowron, our adult daughter, age 31, INSISTED that her father and I switch doctors in order that we make appointments with Michelle. Well, we are thrilled that we took our daughters sage advice! After both of our appointments, we gave Dr. Skowron RAVE reviews to each other . . . she is THE rock star of doctors!!! Michelle is not only professional, brilliant, and highly knowledgeable, she is also empathetic, kind, and patient. To say she has a beautiful bedside manner is an understatement. Dr. Skowron is also a skilled teacher. Her listening skills, her ability to share information, and her diligence is exemplary. We cannot imagine a more wonderful, delightful, and expert eye doctor. There is only one more person in our family (our son) and you can be sure that the three of us will now ALL INSIST that he make an appointment with Dr. Michelle Skowron. She is a true gem. P.S. You say... well I have been going to Costco for years at their eye department and though the doctor was super nice the staff at Costco was always rude and non helpful. So this year I decided to go to an Ophthalmologist office. They were so sweet and efficient. Dr. Michelle Skowron, oh my gosh is the nicest and funniest person!!! It’s like going to hangout with one of your girlfriends. The office also has more technology then Costco did and I’m telling you it is so much more worth it to go to the office. Yes you may pay a little more, but if you can, know that you will receive the best service. Thanks again!!

Dr. Mark Skowron has been my Eye Doctor for about 40 years. His daughter has now joined him. His facility is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only place to go.

I’ve been scheduling my annuals (and any emergencies) with Skowron for years—since late 1990s. Their office is pleasant and their team [and it does take a team] of professionals are always welcoming, thorough, and do their best in a timely manner. They welcome questions, and if they can’t provide an immediate answer, always follow up.I’ve seen Dr Mark Skowron since a friend recommended him all those years ago. If I do not like the service I receive from a doctor or other certified professional, I don’t go back. In this instance, I’ve had no need to search elsewhere.I appreciate good customer service, and for it, I’ve been willing to travel the 30 minutes it takes from Wheaton to Elmhurst.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Clean and sanitized to ensure safety during these uncertain times. Very thorough and detailed exam. Mostly I like that Dr. Skowron takes time out and talks with you to discuss issues (if any) and options, etc. He takes a very personal approach which is appreciated.

Dr Russell took a lot of time with me to explain my options for contact lenses. He helped me make an informed decision that was right for me.

I took My brother to your office yesterday. He has poor eye health, including keratoconus, and multiple corneal transplants over the years. He has never been able to wear glasses, and has difficulty with contact lenses. Dr. Mark Skowron is very professional. Dr. Skowron spent A LOT of time, and exhibited an enormous amount of patience examining my brothers eyes and used his expertise to fit his eyes properly. Went to Skowron yesterday as a new patient. I had a wonderful experience. I never leave reviews on literally anything but I just had to. I couldn’t have been treated any better. Dr. Skowron had me come to his office immediately (it was after hours) to diagnose and address the issue following my incident. He has proven to me that he is someone I can trust for all of my eye care needs.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Skowron for many years, I stay because of the attention he pays to everyone he sees. Over the years I’ve recommended him to many people and have consistently heard that they are just as happy with the care as I have been.

Worst place to get glasses. Dr rushed through eye exam. They didnt take the correct measurements so the eye glasses had to be sent back three times back and i still can not see right through them. I weared then for two months to see if my eyes needed to adjusted to them and still i can not see correctly through them. When i picked them up there was another customer there with the same issue as mine.

Dr. Skowron and his staff are so professional, kind and caring.I have had some very challenging issues with my eyes. I was scared and truly felt I would never get any relief. Dr. Skowron NEVER gave up on me and worked out a plan of action that is working. I am beyond grateful.Geannine Lynch

I was very happy with the responsiveness and service provided. I called midmorning as I was having tremendous discomfort (blocked gland in eyelid) in my right eye. They set me up with and appointemnt midday and by late afternoon, the pain was gone.
