We see doctor Chad that is at slothower pediatrics and I love him . He really answers my questions and addresses my concerns he sees both of my children and I recommend him to other expecting moms

We saw PA Chad and he’s the best medical professional we’ve found in Elko. He knew exactly what illness our daughter had and gave great information. Very nice, knowledgeable, great with kids, and didn’t make us feel rushed. The office is very clean and not outdated. The medical assistant was awesome as well. We were able to get an appointment same day as a new patient.

I read someone got their son in next day as a new patient but instead I have to get all his records into them before he can be seen. My previous doctors office would never have the records released this quickly especially during this pandemic. I wonder how this other person got their son in so fast. I have insurance and my son has a skin condition that needs checked urgently.

Mediocre at best. Isn’t up to date with vaccination information, seems to just stick to his own views and won’t have conversations about them. When I asked about what to do for teething he suggested Benadryl or Tylenol. Did not accurately check out my sons reflexes or bones, just overall seems to do the the bare minimum. Had to ask him to check my sons ears when I was worried he had the flu once. The only reason why I’m giving two stars is because of the staff and nurses, we will be switching Pediatricians.

Got my son in with a next day appointment as a new patient. The staff is great and the Dr was so kind and took his time, not making us feel rushed and made sure to make my boy feel as comfortable as possible. Love them!

Dr. Slothower, and his staff, are so kind and have a very welcoming atmosphere,. I cant thank them enough for taking the best care of my girls. Thank you doctor and staff. Keep on being AMAZING.

He answers all my questions and as a first time mom I have lots of those! I also never feel rushed. All the staff is very friendly as well. We never have to wait long in the waiting room. Nice and clean facility.

Hes by far the best pediatrician in Elko, that weve seen! :) I had a bad experience with the first one we did see in town. Doctor Slothower has been very nice, personal, takes his time, listens to all our questions and makes sure to explain everything we need to know. I do wish he was at golden health but no matter both our children will continue to see him! :)

Not a bad doctor but we sit in the waiting room for an hour every single time waiting on him to come in.

He moved to his own office on pinion road. I havent been a customer there but I heard hes a super nice guy!!

Dr. Slothower is awful. My daughter has a seizure disorder (he obviously knows this)We recently went in for a wellness checkup. My childs seizures had been controlled for two months so I had some questions about her receiving her vaccinations. I specifically asked him about the odds that the immunizations could cause more seizures. I was told that there was no chance of these specific vaccines inducing a seizure. I should have gone with my instincts instead of believing that he knew what he was talking about. 12 hours after she received the immunizations, she began having grand mal seizures again. She did not have a fever. I will be switching pediatricians.

Great to work with for children with Autism.

He seems to know his stuff, we waited an hour to be seen each time we went.
