So irritated. Came in for the immunization clinic. They told me when I got there that it had change times and had ended 45 minutes ago. Made an appointment to get one shot for my kid, came in two days later for that appointment and they said that it had been rescheduled. No one told me! I dont live in town and I came in just for this stupid appointment. Very unprofessional and the girl at the front window was impatient with me!?

Tried to call to book a COVID test and get a quote on copay. First call was put on hold; place in line jumped from 3rd to 26th after a 15 minute wait. Second call to a different local number, I was redirected to a totally different toll free number dedicated to COVID testing. Third call, after being on hold for 1/2 hour, was told that I would need to call a different line dedicated to COVID testing. Why would anyone trust their healthcare to a clinic that cannot get their phone lines in order or receptionists to actually answer a question and book an appointment? Absolutely ridiculous service and client care.

Went in for my first appointment. Front desk is always rushing and busy. I dont find that necessarily bad. It means they have a lot to do. The doctor Dr Chad was kind, patient, and listened to my thoughts and needs. It did take a total of 3 hours for my appointment from entering to exiting. They are busy so I understand. Coming from Houston, this was a nice experience. For the most part they were all are polite. Hope my follow ups go as smoothly.

While the doctor was sweet, I didnt feel heard with my concerns for going in with my baby. I was looking for some critical thinking and basically was told things I already knew surrounding the problem. Spent 2 hours with no solution or even a gameplan. I also wish pediatrician appointments werent mostly focused around immunizations when theres a real concern at hand.

They are the only clinic that accepts my insurance, and even if they didnt they are very reasonable with billing. I had been receiving care from this clinic since I was 16. I have had a total of 3 doctors there, One being Pediatrician, The next being Primary care, then after he retired I had a new one. They are thorough with their practices. I receive care from the Dental side as well, and although they are busy and hard to get in to, the care is great as well. I have only ever had a few discrepancies with this clinic out of the 10 years Ive been going there and that does not define my opinion on them. Now with the expanded Behavioral Health area as well as the affiliation with University of Nevada Reno, this is shaping up to be a great clinic for Elko.

My practitioner is nice. But she seems to be always in a hurry. The overall staff is rude. Phone calls are never returned. Theres a complete lack of communication between staff & providers & patients. Nothing gets done. Im looking for another primary care provider. Overall care at this clinic isnt good for patients.

This is the worst place imaginable. My father was going here for general healthcare and needed to be put on oxygen. He struggles badly to breathe at night due to a medical issue. Dr. Steven Lore was so confused as to why he couldnt sleep he wanted to do sleep testing on my dad. I explained it had nothing to do with sleep patterns but that he couldnt sleep because he COULDNT BREATHE at night with the cancer that he currently has. Dr. Lore suggested my father put ice packs on his tumors to bring the swelling down and to take Benadryl in case it was for allergies that he couldnt breathe. WHAT!!!???!!!! I also gave Dr. Lore all the contact information to the nurses at the Huntsman Cancer Institute that could go over with him what my fathers overall health situation was. He lied to my dad telling him that he would write the prescription for oxygen and that Norco would deliver it that evening. Well the oxygen was never delivered so the next day my father went to Norco directly and he was told they never received anything for his prescription. I had the Huntsman call Norco directly and they were told this is an ongoing problem with this clinic and some people will wait all day until they get the prescribed oxygen that they desperately need. Arent there policies in place to prevent such awful healthcare? I definitely recommend NOT GOING HERE!!!! If your health or your loved ones health means anything to you then stay away from this place.

I am there regularly for check up, and follow up appointments. They have never once disappointed me or my family. The Practitioners and Nurses are so friendly and answer every and all questions you have. I am very grateful to have found such a great clinic that is trust worthy in Elko, Nevada.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a medical office. The staff is extremely condescending and rude, everyone seems to be in a rush so your concerns dont seem to matter, and if you have any problems with th he medication they prescribe you good luck trying to call them to ask about it. Im never going to them again.

My Mom is a patient of Doctor Thack. She has had multiple problems of getting her medication on time. We have talked to the insurance company for her medication and doctor Thack never gets back to the insurance in time for her meds to come in. So because of that the insurance company wont approve her medication. We have started over and over to get her medication between the two. Because of this she is in pain all the time. So do NOT expect to get good service from these people. Just m Ill be on to another doctor. Dont waste your time. Doctor Thack is to busy to carry about YOU.

What a joke. Called ahead to see if they were able to help me with what I needed. Got there a half hour before my appointment. I had to sit in the waiting room almost a hour past my scheduled appointment while the wait staff goofed off. Once in a room I had to wait another 20min for the doctor who told me that they couldnt do what I needed but they would check me for all of these sexually transmitted diseases while I was there. Seriously? Just because its a clinic for lower income does not mean I have sexual diseases. Have some professionalism!

This is the worst place to go in Elko! The staff is so unprofessional and so mean to everyone. Even when no one is in the clinic you have to wait hours to even get anything done. And then trying to get anything over the phone is impossible. I never got a hold of anyone for hours, left far to many voicmails with no call backs in return, and then when I finally got to speak to someone I was transferred three times before I got what I needed. This place is a joke.

This is the only clinic that accepts Medicaid in town, and uninsured patients. As a result, the clinic has more than enough patients, with multi-system and complex needs, and financial issues. Sometimes, the people have to wait due to the fact that there is an overload of patients with one physician. The clinics are also run by State grants which allow lost cost or sometimes free prescriptions from their formulary.

Seemed good going in but now determined to put me into Benzodiazapine withdrawal: Benzodiazepine withdrawal is characterized by sleep disturbance, irritability, increased tension and anxiety, panic attacks, hand tremor, sweating, difficulty with concentration, confusion and cognitive difficulty, memory problems, dry retching and nausea, weight loss, palpitations, headache, muscular pain seizure and death. Pretty sure that could be characterized as Medical Malpractice. Lets see what happens.
