I have literally been to so many dental offices in Colorado, Texas, Arizona, and Nevada that I am more than qualified to say Dr. Neilson is the best dentist Ive ever seen. Im old as dirt now so my visits were for dentures. He is amazing and the staff is the friendliest ever! There was not one issue with my billing, insurance, or getting questions answered on anything. In fact they addressed everything before I knew to ask which is a far cry from all the other dental offices I had the misfortune to be a patient at. I love this office and so does my husband Lucien. Any dental phobias will melt away, and you will enjoy the friendly, fun atmosphere.

Absolutely love this office. Friendly and knowledgeable receptionists, fantastic staff, and I cant say enough about Dr. Neilson. He has taken care of most of my kids. He not only works well with coordinating with my daughters orthodontist, but also is very knowledgeable, and makes sure they are all comfortable. Not one of my kids are scared of the dentists office or getting work done. Great Basin Dental goes above and beyond.

This office is the best dental care office in the area. The staff is attentive and friendly and efficient. Always greeted with happy attitude. Dental hygienist are nice and you can tell they enjoy working there. Dr Price is super nice and easy to talk to and will make reccomendations with no pressure. He provides gentle care and is always making sure you are comfortable. I wouldnt go anywhere else

I have had many bad experiences with dentists. After moving to Elko I wanted to make sure that didn’t happen again. And Dr Neilson is the right guy. He is wonderful. I had a root canal and crown. During the process my mother died. They worked with me on scheduling. They are always helpful. I would recommend this office to anyone I meet.

I had the best experience. The lobby is nice, reception was on top their game, and Dr Price delivered exceptional patient care. I never waited for anything and felt good when I left.

Was traveling from West Sacramento, Ca to Elko for the long 4th of July weekend when one of my crowns popped out. I was able to get an appt on Fri am to have the crown re-cemented on. Wonderful Dentist and Asst. Very professional and knowledgeable.

I have been seeing Dr. Price for over 10 years, and I was there today for my bi-annual cleaning. All of the staff there are wonderful, and my hygienist is caring, sweet, and makes my visits something I actually look forward to. I hate going to the dentist, but I am always so well taken care of I wonder why going to a dentist makes me nervous. Very professional staff. I was definitely well taken care of and my teeth feel GREAT!

Staff is always so kind and helpful! Only reason for the 4 star and not five is that their website says their cleanings include a polish, but they are not doing that right now due to CoVid. Understandable, but I was not informed of it and had to call and ask later if they forgot or something. Plus my gums are pretty destroyed from the scraping. Never had that be an issue before this visit, but this time was very painful.

Excellent office in ALL RESPECTS! Office personnel and staff where warm, friendly, and professional. At 74 years of age, I can say, without a doubt, that Dr. Price is the best dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Price and the entire office all seemed truly happy to be there to help others. It was also immediately apparent the way the staff interacted with each other that they all felt is was a very good place to work and that they were all one big happy family. The follow-up phone call to check on me, was an unexpected and welcome surprise and goes further to prove that Great Basin Dental is an excellent practice in all respects.

Excellent experience! I have high dental phobia and went in with extreme pain. The entire office did whatever they could to help me feel comfortable and safe. Gentle. Explained procedures. Excellent communication. I felt like my concerns were heard. They were patient with me and worked with me to help it be as pleasant of an experience as could be when getting a root canal done. I highly recommend. Covid19 safety procedures were in place and I felt safe with that as well.

I have never been to a dentist that I feel more comfortable at. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and important. Their work has been amazing. I didnt meet a single unkind member of the staff. I would recommend them any day of the week.

I’ve never enjoyed the dentist until today. They were so friendly and nothing hurt whatsoever. My cavity filling and teeth cleaning went great. Dr. Neilson is very friendly and extremely skilled. Kylie is amazing. The whole staff is great. Highly recommend!!!!

I live in Oklahoma and was visiting Elko NV for a couple months, my wisdom tooth was killing me and my dentist back home wanted 12,000$ to fix all my teeth which I couldn’t do, when the pain of this one tooth was killing me I called many places and they all told me there next appointment was days away and that the dentist would make a separate appointment to extract the tooth if I needed too, this is the first place I called that said, yea we can get u in today and extract the tooth today too, so I made the appointment, I was worried cause I didn’t have insurance so I took a thousand dollars and headed to my appointment, they were so friendly and helpful, saw how much pain I was in so called me right back, in a matter of about 30 minutes my tooth was gone and I felt amazing, and was about 400$, I felt so silly for hurting so long cause it was so cheap and easy, thank you guys so much I feel sooooo much better, y’all were a total blessing that day!!!

Honestly is the best dental office in Elko. They have the friendliest employees and the doctors are great. They know what they are doing, and are great when it comes to scheduling!

If you want the best dental care in Elko, this is your guy. Ive been going to him for years, had several cavities filled and even a couple root canals. Theyve always been very well done procedures and Ive never had any problems.

I would have loved to try this dentist but the snotty girl that answered the phone would not help me and acted as though she did not have time to address my dental concerns. I need to get a chipped tooth fix and she really did not care.
