I just want to say that Laura M. Is one of the great ones! I myself was a salon Coordinator at a Aveda Concept Salon so I know the value of a good Stylist. She makes herself available for me because she knows my schedule doesn’t allow me to book out appointments and that’s so selfless of her time! Being a stylist is a sacrifice of allot of nights & weekend, so I hope everyone can appreciate their jobs..Also, she does amazing work❤️

I love Alissa! I called around for extensions as I was getting married and as a covid bride I was used to having to settle on a lot of things. With the salons only opening back up June 1st and having no stylist of my own and more worried about my day of stylist, I waited until the second week of June to look around for stylists that did extensions. I was looking for non tape in ones but was willing to settle for whatever I could get. Not only did Alissa make the time for my consultation within a week, she got me in for my extensions a week and a half before my wedding. I got the invisible beads extensions as I wanted to keep them up after the wedding due to having fine hair with less and less of it from a rare autoimmune disease. She gave me way more than I expected and I LOVE my new hair. I got SO many compliments on my wedding day hair. I just did the 2 month fill in but was more like 2 and a half months as I got way too busy. Alissa didnt give me flack for it, she related to her own experience and just did her thing. And hour and a half later I was brand new and felt just as good as the day I got them. Will continue to go to her for all my hair needs even if I give up the extensions - which Im not sure I will!

It might feel a little too country but youre guaranteed to get good service. Always looks and feels great!

Marry was very nice to work with, and I love my hair. I had a very general idea of what I wanted with a few photos, she referenced the photos many times and was careful of cutting too short. Wanted to make sure I was comfortable with length every step of the way. I requested a change to the bangs and she was more than happy to accommodate it. Place was clean. Felt the price was more than fair. They are handling COVID well in terms of masks and keeping things clean.

I tried to donate my hair, the lady who cut it clipped it way too short on one side. Then to hide it she put curls in with the curling iron. I went to take a pic and she said shed take it with her phone and post it on her site. She didnt post it. When I straightened it, it was terrible. Took me 18 months to get it even with another salon. That mess cost me $130 plus tip for a good color job and the worst haircut Ive ever had.

Janelle is the most amazing human I’ve met! Super down to earth and overall great service. My hair is exactly what I wanted. I feel SOOO beautiful, because of you! Super reasonable prices too!! I was shocked at the price, she even styled my hair! Thank you so much Bela salon and especially janelle!!

I had an appointment with Stephanie weeks ago and I still disappointed to this day. I went in to get a trim and curtain bangs on my hair, I even showed a picture of what I wanted and she RUINED my hair. Cut my hair 2-3 inches shorter than what I asked for, didn’t give me curtain bangs and instead I now have a bunch of choppy layers that are going to take years to grow out. I’m 17 years old and look like I have a 50 year-old woman’s haircut. I have been going to this salon for years and this is the single worst experience I’ve had at any salon ever. I am now ashamed to have my hair down because quite frankly, it is completely butchered. I never write reviews, but how I got absolutely nothing that I asked for and payed $40 for it, is unacceptable.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I went in not to long ago with Marie to get my hair in the first stage of getting it to a pink color we ended up doing a long bob and a full highlight . and boy did she do AMAZING!! I have never gotten so many compliments and I am in love how everything turned out :) definitely worth the drive! If you’re looking for someone to go to..Marie is your gal! Will be going back soon :)

After going to this salon for 2+ years, I walked in this morning for appointment for a color and cut only to be told that gal had left weeks ago and neither she nor the salon let me know. On top of that, the receptionist never offered to book me with someone else at this salon. I will find somewhere else looking for clients.

I had a cut, color, and brow wax by Jenny and I couldnt be happier! Jenny is both knowledgeable and time efficient. Ive had my hair done by many people but she is, by far, one of the best stylists Ive seen. She knew how to highlight and style my long thick hair. Plus, she also gave me practical tips on how to prolong my blonde color, keeping it looking vibrant vs. letting it get brassy. I will certainly be a returning client.

I go to Cari and I will never go anywhere else. She is so kind and such a funny lady!! But thats just a plus, what she can do to my hair is amazing. Whether it be crazy colors and cuts or something natural and beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend Bela Salon!! They are so friendly and welcoming.

Ive been going to Tiffany at Bellas Salon to get my lashes done for the past 3 months. Tiffany always takes her time and makes sure Im happy with the end result. Im always getting compliments on my lash extensions and where I go to have them done. Id highly recommend!

My daughter cut my hair, she is the best.

Let me start off saying my massage was good, not great but good. I had Janelle. She was about 10 minutes late to come and get me from the lobby. Fine, I understand people can run late... Then we went to a room, but apparently it wasnt her normal room so people kept knocking and coming in to grab things from that room and to ask her questions. I can understand when things dont go as planned, but I definitely did not feel like this was an above average massage or like I was special. By the end of the massage with her being late and getting interrupted I was only given a half hour massage but was still charged for the full hour. I was definitely disappointed. This was not a pleasant experience and mediocre at best.

Love this Salon!! I received gift cards for different services and each was amazing! Dana, Deb, and Jessica are awesome! Great hair cut, eyebrow wax, highlights, and the best facial ever! Wow! It was so relaxing! Loved getting pampered.

Big thumbs up! When I walked into the salon I was pleasantly greeted by the receptionist. After looking around the salon I was impressed by the cleanliness of the beautiful space. I have difficult hair to cut- very curly and coarse. I saw Emily and received a fantastic haircut and it was worth every penny! I have recommended Bela to all of my friends and family.

This salon is perfect! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Everything is always clean and tidy with an extremely professional look. Becky my stylist always works with my schedule to get me in when I need to be and is extremely flexible. I have been going to her for over 6 years now and have always had the best experience! They work well with children and make the environment welcoming for my 3.5 year old daughter who feels so special when she gets to go to this salon. I have been seeing Crysta at Bela Salon for 8 years, and there is nowhere else I would ever go to get my hair done! I am going to school out of state, and I have already scheduled out my breaks to squeeze in a hair appointment when I am home. All of the staff at Bela Salon is very welcoming and accommodating. Whatever you decide to have done at Bela, the result will surpass your expectations. I typically get a cut and color, but I have also come in to get my hair done for special occasions, and I am always beyond happy with the result.

I highly recommend Bela Salon! I have been going to Jessie for 13 years and she is awesome! She listens to what you are wanting to have done and provides great recommendations to what she feels best meets your needs. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

I had my hair colored by Jenny a few days ago, highlights/balayage. I wasnt completely satisfied with the outcome.. Jenny was fantastic, just the tone wasnt working for me. I called Bela on the next business day to let them know that I wasnt loving my hair. The receptionist was really nice and understanding and even talked with me about my expectations. She had Jenny call me back, and we scheduled a time for the following night for her to work on it again. She was extremely friendly and professional and spent a lot of time and energy giving me the look I wanted, free of charge. Everyone was great. They never made me feel bad or uncomfortable about wanting my hair redone. Very professional, classy, and friendly salon!! I will definitely be back!!

Well that was rude lol. Came in for my appointment which was at 7 and waited for the receptionist while her and the other two ladies at the desk chatted with a customer. Finally, one of the employees addresses me to check in for my 7PM appointment.Then I waited for about 25 minutes before getting irritated and walking out. I totally understand staff can get behind, but at least communicate with me and keep me updated on the wait. Its especially annoying to wait this long without being acknowledged when there are three employees chilling at the desk. Feel like I did them a favor by leaving since no one seemed interested in accommodating me.I work in customer service and try to be reasonable with my expectations, but this experience was unacceptable. please respect and value your customers time.

They have the BEST massage therapist here ever! The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars yet, is that I havent had a chance to try any other services yet.

I went in on 2/09/19 for a special occasion hairstyle. I was going to my husbands military ball that day. It was a simple hairstyle. A braid around the front going around the Side to the back then curls. I told my stylist I have frizzy hair and it would need products and a straightener to achieve the ultimate look (shiny, smooth etc) she said, the curling iron would help that. Okay... But she didnt curl the front part she braided... It was frizzy, full of fly-aways on top of my head, and coming out of the braid, the braid was loose, poorly made and I had hair chunks sticking out the sides, not to mention the pony tail she put in the back then wrapped with my other hair was hideous, it looked like an 11 year old did it. Where I was sitting it was dim, I couldnt see the mess on My head....i paid 80+dollars?? Got into My car, headed on our journey, my hubby made a comment, I looked in the mirror and seen the mess that was made, I almost died in a panic. Frizzy, messy, etc...My curls were frumpy, droopy and falling out before I got to big lake. I called around to several other places for an emergency visit as I wasnt able to turn around.. Noone had an opening. I couldnt go looking like this to a military ball, I bit the bullet and called GREAT CLIPS in big lake as we were a minute away... They got me in, were appalled at what they saw, took pics of belas work and washed me, dried me, straightened me and placed a beautiful tight braid all for half the price and in less than an hour and for half the price, I was on my way to my soldiers military ball with beautiful hair.I will contact them tomorrow about this. I have pictures of before and after Id like them to see.Their hairstylist vs great clips! Id also like my money back!

Where to begin….Both my first and second visits to this salon were less than desirable experiences, I only returned to give it another chance before I judged but boy am I regretting that now!I will give you the condensed version of both visits to give an idea of the horrible service received here.First Visit: Stylist running WAY behind, brings me back 20 minutes after my apt time, still has a client not even half done back there. Speeds through my services and sends me out the door. While I am there the receptionist comes up to let her know the next apt is running a little late – stylist argues with her saying she is leaving to go out for the night and won’t be doing anymore clients because she is already running behind and will be late. Incredibly unprofessional, not to mention rude way to speak to your co-worker about a client but on top of that it was in front of another client.Second Visit: Stylist moves my apt up by 30 minutes (6:15 to 5:45), I show up 10 minutes early expecting to wait until my scheduled time of 5:45. She brings me back to her station almost right away, at her station there is a client with a highlight in still processing. She makes that client move so I can sit down – Why would you have me come in 30 minutes and then bring me back an additional 10 minutes early when you aren’t even done with your previous client? The level of professionalism here is a total joke. Then, we discuss color and I show her a visual and we get started. Halfway through she realizes the original client is done processing and has a different stylist rinse her out, then makes us switch chairs again (while my hair is half done…) so she can cut, blow dry and style her initial client. I get back in the chair and she finishes applying my color, then she MASSAGES IT INTO MY SCALP. I want my hair colored, not my scalp. My scalp is completely stained and discolored – it looks like I have some sort of condition going on up there, in addition to an absurd amount of staining on my hairline, my ear, and a long line down my neck. I could have applied the color myself and made less of a mess, and she is supposed to be a professional. She rinses me, I decline to proceed with the originally planned partial foil (which she was going to do on top of a fresh chemical treatment-talk about frying my hair!) because I did not trust her work at this point. I had her blow dry and style me – my previously blonde hair that was supposed to be a chocolate brown is BLACK. How did this happen? I left unhappy and she was aware of it. We get to the register…..my services were supposed to be 50% off due to a promotion that particular stylist was running and, shocker, I was charged full price. Entirely unacceptable work and behavior from a supposed ‘professional’. On the website she is listed as a “Master Stylist” – I would expect better than this from a Stylist in Training or Junior Stylist. This kind of sloppy work and rude behavior are a one way ticket to losing customers – myself included.

Worst place ever...Ive been having my hair colored for 20 years. They burned my hair. Half my hair has fallen/broken off from chemical burn/over processing. Im heart broken and infuriated.

I have been to this place 5 times. Each time Ive tried someone new because Each time THEY MESS UP MY GD HAIR. whether it is a cut or a color.....my daughter and I went in today, and I wanted an inverted bob......did I get that, nooooo a straight bob, and too short with barely any layers. I had a picture and everything! My daughters hair is barely inverted either. Every damn time. Im done going there. Payed $60 when fantastic sams could do a better job for half the price.

I dont normally called people out on social media, but this is really upsetting me. On May 26th, I went in to Bela Salon in Elk River to have my hair cut and colored. I was there for 3 hours and 45 minutes for just a cut and highlights with all over color. (WAY TOO LONG). When I got home I noticed that my skin was stained all the way around my hair line from the color. I called that night and left a message, on Friday I did not hear back from anyone so I called and left another message. Saturday morning I missed a call back from someone there (she didnt leave her name). Tuesday morning (we were out of town until Monday night) I called and talked to the front desk person, she said she would have either the stylist or the manager call me back before the end of the day. To this day I still have not heard back from anyone there. This is ridiculous, $150 for my stained head and a bad hair cut. I dont go get my hair done very often and wanted it done right, so I decided to go to Bela Salon. My mistake, I guess. I wont be back there again! Below are some pictures we took. It took a very long time of my husband and I scrubbing my neck, ears, and forehead with astringent (Sea Breeze) to get it to fade as much as we could. I still have some irritation from it around my ears.

The dont do African American hair. They color and shampoo my hair and didnt know how to blow dry it and I had to leave with wet hair they charged me 80.00 .
