As a new patient I received an outstanding treatment and I will be theirs for a long time if they continue with the great work and attention to detail. It was very hard to find a replacement for my long term hygienist and after 2 years in search I am finally happy to say that Veronika is my new hygienist.The office is very busy and that’s a good sign too. Hands down best dental office I’ve ever been to and I sure have been to a few. Coworkers told me about this practice and sure glad they did. From Veronica in the front always staying on top of everything including insurance stuff etc she’s absolutely helpful and great at what she does. Jen the dental assistant I usually have is awesome, making sure I’m comfortable at all times and knows exactly what she is doing. Dr. Balaney Is the absolute best dentist I have ever came across. He is professional yet down to earth relaxed dentist that knows what he is doing. He lets you know what’s going on pretty much every step of the way with treatment. You will be very pleased with this practice. I recommend everyone to them and let’s not forget about their wonderful hygienist they have at the practice as well. My cleanings are always done great and are a breeze.

My Dental Hygienist Becky was Amazing! I learned more about my teeth, the process what she was doing and more importantly why. She showed me before and after pictures in my initial visit (cleaning and X-Rays. I walked away with all this in just over one hour and got more than my previous Dentist gave me in 25+ years. Not to mention she converted this non-flosser into a Water Pik flosser with the flick of a light switch. Great experience! From the moment I met all members of the staff here. They always recognize me and are so warm and welcoming! This isnt the only thing though, most people dont enjoy visiting the dentist. This holds true for myself. Veronica (hygienist) cleaned my teeth and explained all the procedures while she was doing them. Following this I did need some cavities filled. Dr. Balaney was very specific about the work he was going to do and where he would be working. He also reassured me that it would not hurt too bad since I really dislike the drill. The fact that this entire team put me, the patient, first means the world to me! From the front end Veronica, to being in the Drs chair, I felt comfortable and actually didnt mind being at the dentist... which says a lot for me! Even brought my family here and will continue to in the future! Thank you Village Smiles!!

Had my first apt since switching locations, and i must say how much of an AMAZING experience i had! Both Veronica(s), the hygienist, and the receptionist were extremely friendly and warm! I usually feel lots of anxiety at the dentist, but these two made me feel safe and comfortable! The doctor was also very kind and easy to talk to! I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to go there! The customer service is out of this world! Im excited to go back for cleanings!

I was greeted at the door immediately and confirmation of my appointment with Erika was given. Very short wait, Erika was very pleasant and knowledgeable . She performed a proficient and thorough exam and explained the results to me and answered all my questions. I am never disappointed with any of the staff at this location. Dr. Abrams is a conscientious doctor that works hard to make sure the work is done well. He manages his office keeping patient comfort in mind and also communicates well with his staff. I have been a patient of his for over 2 years with no regrets. Highest recommendation.Update: Dr.Abrems no longer serving at this location.Seemed an abrupt change ( He never whispered a word), they said he moved on to new interests...cant speculate but I dont know the new doc...we moved.

The team at Village Smiles is nothing if not excellent. Dr. Balaney is so patient and lets you know what hes doing step by step. They are taking COVID protocols very seriously, and I noticed they are diligent with cleaning, screening, and taking temperatures. I felt very comfortable being here and that means everything these days!

It was a great experience all the way from how easy it was to fill out the paperwork prior to my first visit, to visiting with the doctor at the end of the appointment. The front desk person, Jill, was so pleasant and detailed when it came to explaining the optional insurance that they offered. I cant imagine why anyone wouldnt want to purchase that, BTW. My dental hygienist, Danielle, was extremely thorough and gentle. She explained so many things to me in a way in which I could understand. She gave me options and explained what to expect in the future if things continued to head in the direction they were aiming. She clearly explained her findings to the doctor when he came in, again, in terms of which I could understand. Overall, a great experience! I already booked my next 6 month check up!

Great practice! Danielle is my hygienist and she is so gentle with my super sensitive teeth! Its never fun going to the dentist but she makes it a lot easier for me. I dont feel so judged as I have at other offices for how sensitive my mouth is. I would highly recommend!

Excellent and highly-skilled dentist yet very friendly and humble. In the evening of the day I had an appointment Dr Abrams would call me to see how I was doing. Never had any doctor or dentist do that. Then of course there is the work on my teeth which were completed beyond my expectations. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend dr. Abrams

Truly a wonderful experience! My last experience was so awful that it took me some time to try and trust a dentist. Village Smiles made those fears go away! The entire staff created a friendly and comfortable experience for my son and I. They were organized and extremely clean.Erika was our dental hygienist. She was so warm and friendly with my 3 y/o. My son talked about her for the rest of the day. Dr. Abrams filled two of my cavities and adjusted an old one. He was precise and even called to check in on my progress later that day. 2017Happy Veterans DayAt least it was for me. I am a 72 year old Veteran. The 6,000 plus Dentists of the Illinois State Dental Society wanted to show Illinois Veterans they care. So I set up an appointment at Village Smiles in Elk Grove Village Illinois near my apartment. I was just expecting an exam and maybe a cleaning but was I surprised when Dr. Sean Abrams and his staff not only cleaned my teeth but fixed one tooth that was broken and filled another one that had a cavity. They worked on me for 2 ½ hours. It was all free of charge. I haven’t been to a dentist in 10 – 12 years because my only income is Social Security. I was afraid that I would get an infection in my teeth and it would go to my heart. So I am so thankful to Dr. Abrams and his staff for fixing my teeth. They were wonderful.Thank YouWilliam Kaufman2018Yea, they gave me new teeth. Now I can smile. Dr. Sean Abrams and his staff at Village Smiles are wonderful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Had my first visit today and absolutely loved everything about it. The staff is beyond friendly - in a genuinely good-hearted way.

Everyone in the office is so nice! Including Dr Abrams, we talked movies and joked around during my fillings. I needed a lot of work done after 10+years without the dentist and Im so relieved to have found village smiles.

This place couldnt have been better! The staff were so friendly. Before scheduling an appointment, I asked if they took my insurance. They called my insurance company for me to verify my coverage. I was able to schedule an appointment for the same week I called. The dental hygienist that did the cleaning was friendly. For services my insurance wouldnt cover completely, she told me the copay estimate beforehand and asked if I still wanted the service. The dentist was nice too. I couldnt recommend this place enough.

The thought of going to dentist terrifies me and in the past three years Ive really had less than honest services which is why I chose Village Smiles and I like the service provided the honesty of the staff and the warm and caring atmosphere. 👍🏼👍🏼

I have been seeing this dentist for several years. I must say the people are very friendly and service was good, until I needed a crown. The procedure was horrifying for me. My gums were very damaged, and took 2 weeks to heal. My temporary tooth was left so jagged that it cut my tongue severely. The assistant sprayed air down my throat several times when she was attempting to dry my tooth. She was gagging me. When I went in to get the crown, it did not fit. I asked for a credit on my account for my pain, suffering, and the numerous times I needed to come back. Dr. Abrams was very dismissive. I tried to discuss this with staff over the phone 3 different times. I asked each person to please let him know I would be asking for this credit. In person he told me he would not give me a credit, because sometimes these things happen in dentistry. This is not good customer service in my opinion. I have seen dozens of dentists in my lifetime for impacted wisdom teeth, crowns, and other things, and not once did I have this type of experience. I will not recommend them to anyone. I am a very dissatisfied former customer of Village Smiles.

6 months after last work done , which i paid for in cash. i get a huge bill. Glad i saved all my receipts.

They will lure you in as a new patient for discount on xray and cleaning. When its time for cleaning they will try to upsell deep cleanimg which costs 20x more. Scam artists these ppl. The lady on the counter is super rude and has a bad attitude.

Had the new patient price that included xray, exam and cleaning once I got there they said I needed a deep cleaning not the regular one for an additional 1000.00 since I have no job and no insurance (they knew this when I called to get information before I scheduled appointment) I said no so they charged me the 59.00 (new patient price) but I didnt get the cleaning - they would not give me the credit on my chg account - said they would only give me an office credit good on my next visit - I WONT BE BACK!!!! This place is a rip off - I would warn against anyone going back there. What they should have done is given me the credit back onto my chg card for the service they DID NOT perform!!!! Also when I called I told them I did not have insurance and they have a huge sign on their window showing new patients get a free sonic toothbrush. But when I got there I was told it was only for patients with insurance - they charge the insurance company so the patients get it free - it was not available to patients without insurance - pretty good scam they have going for insurance companys!!. I will send this to the state insurance department so then can look into this ongoing scam that this dental office does. They should have told me upfront before I scheduled the appointment that the toothbrush deal was only for patients with insurance. They knew I did not have any and I asked about the toothbrush and they never said anything to me about it not being available to me - this was totally unethical!!!
