Unfortunately this agency did not work for us. There were several times no one showed up or they would call you the night before to tell you that they could not fill your spot. Communication is AWFUL!!!! The caregivers were never given any information about their client ahead of time. It was very stressful having Visiting Angels care for my dad. I would not recommend. Giving them a two stars because a few of the caregivers were very kind.

Wonderful experience with the aids that were sent. My mum improved substantially with their assistance and got back to normal because of them. She is now able to be on her own again. I will always be grateful to them for their patience and care of my mum during the time she needed it.

After many years of trying to convince my parents to get a little extra help around the house , they agreed to try the Visiting Angels after my Moms hospital stay. My Mom was had lost most of her mobility but not her spunk. We all pitched in but realized it would be good to have the extra help. Working with the team we were able to quickly assess what would be the most type of support mostly for my Mom. The planning team quickly identified angels who fit the bill. The angels came in and quickly bonded with my Mom. They helped with her personal care and also with some household tasks. She really enjoyed the company especially during the pandemic because she was getting bored with us. The Angels were punctual, kind, compassionate , skilled and were truly a godsend for us. Unfortunately , my Mom had to return to the hospital so we discontinued the visits. Our only regret is that we didnt call them in sooner.

We went thru a couple of caregivers that were so so and then Ron came!!!! He is amazing and my grandfather loves him. My Teenage kids love on the days when he comes because he is so amazing and he will even keep busy and help with some basic household stuff if my grandfather goes back to sleep! We love Ron!

I want to thank you for sending me Robert yesterday. It was a PERFECT match. He has the experience of working with older folks like myself and making them feel comfortable and at ease. His bedside manner makes you feel like you are not someone who needs to be “taken care of” and makes it seem effortless just to make life a bit more manageable and happier. He has the gift of knowing what needs to be done just by looking at a situation. He even took the simple ingredients I had in my kitchen and made me a meal that not only tasted but even FELT elegant. I can’t spend enough time with him, given the way he made me feel.

My mother, was very happy with her Visiting Angel representative, Audrey was assigned to my mother from October through December of 2019.Mom was pleased with Audrey as she always showed up on her scheduled days, and was very helpful and friendly to mom on all of her visits..Audrey was helpful in that she was able to provide mo, with companionship, assistance with dressing, light housekeeping, a daily lunch meal preparation, assistance with moms daily Sit and Be Fit exercising sessions, and once a week laundry service. mom was very pleased with Audreys friendliness, willingness to assist with daily living tasks, and with companionship. As Audrey lived just a few blocks away, Mom knew that Audrey would come to the house as scheduled, and she never failed to arrive on each day scheduled. Audrey provided wonderful companionship to mom during her visits to assist her.My thanks to Visiting Angels for having such a wonderful care giver, Audrey to assist my mother, during those three months of October, November, and December of 2019. It was a real blessing to have such help available to assist her, and provide to her companionship.

Michelle Joyce is definitely an angel! She is wonderful with my mom. I dont think Ive ever meant a more gentle, kind, warm and caring person. Michelle is definitely a keeper and Visiting Angels should be proud to have her represent your company.

Visiting Angels has been absolutely wonderful. All our caregivers are outstanding. We want to recognize Mary and May. We just love them and they have been so good to us. I cant imagine how we managed before our Angels came along.

Brenda has been an outstanding help to my mom and me. I didn’t have to ask Brenda to do things. She knew what to do when she arrived. Brenda organized my mom’s linen closet, cleaned the bathroom and made sure my mom was able to go see her Senior friends at the Senior Center. Brenda gave me piece of mind. My mom enjoyed Brenda’s company. She looked forward to her coming.

Thank you for providing services to us as we cared for Shirley. This was by far the best experience we have had with a living assistance service provider. Two of the angels deserve a special call out. Teresia and Fummi were both exceptional. They were unfailingly kind and compassionate and both have sweet and gentle personalities—they were an excellent fit. Both of these women made this experience better for our family, and their competency and compassion stood out. I was able to getmuch-needed rest and I worried much less when these ladies were here.We had no bad experiences. Every angel who came was good. Visiting Angels was the only service that was recommended by all the sources I asked for referrals, and with good reason. April did a wonderful job of communicating as well.

I cant express how grateful we are to have had Visiting Angels there for us especially last minute. It means the world to us. We called with last minute visits and they were able to get someone right away. We have been and continue to be very pleased with your services. We initially needed your services to be available for my ailing Father-in-Law. From night one - we were notified that my Mother-in-Law needed services as well. You quickly recognized this need and fitted us with couples care with Irene 2 nights and Lanke 1 night. Dad has passed away but Mom continues to enjoy the services of Irene and Lanke. We are reluctant to change to a non-couples-care provider because of the bond that Mom has created with Irene and Lanke. We will always highly recommend Visiting Angels!

Our experience with Visiting Angels was wonderful! My angel Denise, was a delight to share the day with and was a guiding light to lead me to independence. She was the one who said No, you shouldnt do that now to Why dont we try this today. I enjoyed coffee time and chat each morning and miss that very much. Our experience was very positive and I would recommend your organization to anyone in my situation. It gave my husband peace of mind while at work and it gave me a sense of comfort and safety.

Our caregiver was just incredible, she related so well to mom, she spoke to mom like a daughter would, they laughed & did puzzles together, She even made sure mom brushed her teeth thoroughly reminding her not to forget the eye teeth. She deserves 10,000 stars.

The one caregiver we had stayed with my mom even when she didnt have to so she wasnt alone and scared. The other few caregivers we have were so wonderful and i dont know what we would do without them.

My apologies ! I sent incomplete reviews several times before.Ms. Kellie Harris worked for me for quite a few weeks of hospitalization.. She has been excellent. She is a very hard worker, honest, mature, reliable, and I could not ask for a more dedicated person to help me out with my recovery problems that have seriously limited my orthopedic problems following major orthopedic surgery. One time I literally could not get up off the floor due to a terrible weakness in my arms and legs. I weighed about 250 pounds. Kellie is so strong she literally picked me up off the floor!Kellie is very strong and responsible. I can give her my credit card and she will go to the grocery store and get everything I need on a list, absolutely no problems. She is completely trustworthy. She is also a wise shopper, She takes care of me purchasing the very best deals on numerous expensive items. She is always concerned about saving me money, which I appreciate very much.Kellie is a very kind and humble person. That is important to me. No worries at all. She shows up on time, takes me to my doctor appointments, and again absolutely no problems.Kellie is also a very good and social companion. She is friendly, interesting, and very smart. VA is amazing and I cannot say enough wonderful things about you guys. I appreciated how much you were able to help make my dad comfortable and put our family at ease. Nenie and Dawn were outstanding. Nenie was so protective of dad and refused to leave his side during her shifts. Even when we told her she could take the monitor and go to a different room, she refused, she said she needs to be with him. You can tell she really loves her job. And Dawn is just as great! She was so determined to make my dad comfortable and do all she could for him, she is an excellent caregiver. We are so happy Dad was able to pass peaceful and was so cared for during his last days

Im glad Dameteria is coming next week. This morning I found that my mom had fallen this morning and was unable to get up on her own. Dameteria arrived shortly after me and jumped right in to help. I was really glad she was there to help. More importantly mom likes her. Great job angels!!!!

The caregiver we had for dad did more housekeeping in one day than the other companies did in a month. She is dynamo and his place is so clean right now! She loves to talk and is a great caregiver! Visiting Angels is a great company!

Everything is going really well with my Mom and the caregivers. Tameeka, Antonia and Liz are all amazing. My Dad and I both are so pleased with the care that they are giving my Mom and we really feel that they do really care about her and her well-being.I really do feel so much better knowing that Tameeka, Antonia and Liz are there with my Mom. Of all the caregivers, my sister liked Agnes D best. My sister always talked about what a good time they had had and how much they had laughed. Certainly all the caregivers were beyond satisfactory.

It is very important to me, as well as my mother and family, that you know how much we value, admire, love and enjoy the ladies who have been coming to our home. Abigail is a joy. I’m not sure who looks more forward to her coming, my children or my mother! Shannon has become such an asset in helping me manage all of the daily tasks and running around with my mother, as well as helping me with the clinical aspects of her care. Kadijah visits my mother on Saturday and Sunday Evenings. I haven’t gotten to know her quite as well because we seem to cross paths, but my mother adores her

I just started with Visiting Angels but Tosin was the perfect definition of an angel. She was on time, exceptional, thorough, and focused (during the 1 visit 1 hour Angel Call). She really has a gift to be able to do this work. I have had a great experience so far.

This has been a very long process for our mom and family. She wanted to be able to come home and be in her house and we could not have done it without you. All of mom’s caregivers were wonderful but one in particular, stood out – Carol. Carol is truly an angel. She went above and beyond for her job and never once acted like any of it was a burden. It put us all at peace knowing she was in such good hands towards the end. She became my mother’s best friend at the most important time of her life, which was the end. She is now a part of our family.

We had an amazing experience with Visiting Angels. The employees in the office are amazing as well as the care giver we had for Granny. Granny was cared and loved for. I recommend Visiting Angels to anyone in need!

I couldnt be happier with the service Terri/Visiting Angels has provided. At one point we were thinking of selling the house but now we are not. Mom WANTS to stay home and is very comfortable. Terri has made that possible and mom is very happy now. I cant express how much Visiting Angels has helped out with the family!

Visiting Angels came highly recommended to me. They helped with bathing, transfers from the wheelchair, washing dishes, changing bed sheets, and laundry. I feel so lucky that we have Rochelle Gedeon as our angel. She is simply lovely--always ready to go with the flow, especially when my husbands behavior isnt exactly what Miss Manners might endorse. Shes eager to help, flexible about time, and always in a good mood. I couldnt have asked for a better angel.

I have needed assistance with bathing, transferring, dressing, & transportation; plus assistance with cooking, cleaning, & laundry, for over 4 weeks, due to a fall with major injuries. The Visiting Angels has provided me with many bright, friendly & capable care-givers, to meet my needs. That help has allowed my husband to continue working at his job, while I recover. I would definitely recommend the Visiting Angels to anyone, who needs assistance, in their home, or for a relative.

Olwyn is an amazing caregiver. She was a real blessing. We also had an angel come bring mom flowers on her Birthday!

Angels really just sit there. If someone is completely immobile and needs some surveillance, fine. But they are on their cell phones 80% of the time they are there. We thought they would perform some domestic duties. They dont.

We had a great first experience with our caregiver Terri. She was was a jewel and would love to have her more often!

Visiting Angels was one of the worst groups of people I have ever worked with. They were hired to care for my elderly grandmother. They never answered the phone (probably because they could speak so little English), ate ALL her food, and slept on her sofa ALL night long. My grandmother fell 3 times during the night because they were sleeping. In the end, when the final bill was sent, the company settled for less than the total bill because of their lack of care. PLEASE, PLEASE keep an eye on these people...THEY ARE THE WORST AND ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED! SORRY THEY WERE EVER HIRED.

Visiting Angels has generally been good for my mother. Her regulars are all five-stars, and the majority of the other staff who have come out have been both knowledgeable as well as caring and attentive.

I utilized the Eldersburg Visiting Angels franchise for 24/7 in-home care of my mother for 4 months. Some of the caregivers were absolutely 5-star quality (Pasqueline, Gladys S, Saddiqa), but others were 1 or 2-star quality that would ignore my mother, sleep for the majority of the time, text/play on their cell phones, talk to boyfriends, arrive late or not at all, ask for rides to/from, have to be trained repeatedly, not follow instructions, do zero cleaning (the list goes on and on!!).The main office had a tough time ensuring quality control and continuity of care, especially on weekends. At least once a week there was a last minute staffing fiasco that meant I had to stay home from work to compensate for their service shortfalls. I did not try other home care services so I cant compare, but at $15,000 per month I feel that 50% of the care provided by the 15-20 different Angels assigned to my mother was not worth paying for -- I should have instead charged rent for their bedroom and internet access.The few previously named superstar caregivers were the only highlight of my Visiting Angels experience, for which I am VERY thankful. I do not recommend Visiting Angels unless you have no alternatives.

The whole experience from the first phone call to meeting with Samantha to getting it staffed with the same caregiver for all visits has been so amazing!

She is very bright, a wonderful person, and a real asset.
