My family enlisted the help of 2nd family to help my grandparents. My grandmother has Alzheimer’s and dementia and it became too much for my grandfather to handle her alone. The compassion and care we received throughout the process was amazing. We are in Virginia and my grandparents are in Maryland so we wanted to be sure they’d be cared for until we could get them moved here with us. 2nd Family not only cared for my grandparents but they recognized and acknowledged our feelings as well. They listened patiently and took time to speak with us about the process. I’m thankful also for the caretakers they sent to spend time with my grandmother. It gave my grandfather a much needed respite during that time. Thank you 2nd Family team! If I had to make this same choice again, I’d choose you again. Keep up the great service! You ARE appreciated.

Currently work for them now & all I can say is I’ve never felt so welcomed from a job in my life . They are very professional and good people . They know how to treat their caregivers and look out for them. I have no plans on leaving them ! The best company I’ve ever worked for

I have been working with this company for over 4years now. Very flexible with their scheduling and always making sure clients and caregivers are comfortable. Willing to answer all your questions. I will recommend them to anybody who is looking for a better agency.

If I could give LESS than one star, I would....They sent a caregiver to take care of my loved one for a 12 hour shift. When I was there she fell asleep IN FRONT OF ME, two days in a row. Had another person who witnessed her totally ignoring my loved one and not interacting with him, but only spending time on her phone. Dont think this caregiver gave any care. Think they need to check into their employees better before they hire them and send them out! Will NOT use this service again.

The staff is in constant communication and does it with a smile on their face. If I ever have a question, it gets answered. If I ever have a concern, they work together with me to find a solution. Environment and a place I could make an Impact. 2ndFamily exceeded and continues to exceed my expectations. I dont know about you but I was sick and tired of feeling as though I didnt matter in my previous job. I would work long hours with little to no appreciation. If I could give less than one star I would. This company is a joke. They hire inexperienced untrustworthy “caregivers” so they can pay them minimum wage then pocket the rest of the money. Owners are horrible, chad and josh are greedy and mean hearted people. Would not recommend hiring this company to take care of a loved one!!!!
