I have been here for 11 years! the only way to address the noise is by keeping your activities indoors and doors closed. Noise proof building. invest in sound proof walls. i understand your customers have their need but you should understand you cant serve your customer on our expense, on our right to live in peace.

A very homey bouldering gym. Really good setting, although it is definitely on the reachier side, with some problems being near-impossible if you’re shorter than 5’5” or so. A small, but sufficient workout space.Especially good slab problems on their smooth wooden walls, which are a lot more interesting than those at most gyms due to smearing being difficult on the smooth wall.

A friend brought me as a guest. We had the whole place to ourselves for most of our time. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the place was clean with several hand sanitizing stations and clear Covid protocols. There was a variety of types of walls and put and holds for all levels if bouldering. They also have work out equipment and yoga classes. I would go again and am considering joining.

We tried the family bouldering session yesterday for the first time with my two grandkids; 6 and 8 years old. Kenneth was amazing! He was professional, polite and thorough. First time going bouldering. The guy at the front desk was really nice and did a little teach to the group about falling. The place isn’t that large, but there was plenty of puzzles to try and retry. Their covid policy made it so it wasn’t just packed full of people so it was easy to have space from other groups of people. Would totally go again.

Great climbing gym. Was in the area visiting family, and signed up for a month. Reasonable price, and the routes were varied and fun. The variety in difficulties and types of problems would have been great for a larger gym, but were even more impressive for a gym this size. Staff was warm and friendly, and it felt like a very welcoming place. Definitely will return when in the area.

The gym built three stand alone walls (15°, 30°, and 45°) that are really good. There arent too many people when you reserve even if all the spots are taken. The best local bouldering gym in El Cerrito. I started rock climbing a few months ago and discovered this hidden gem through a friend. I now go here every weekend after trying it out for a couple weeks. They change their routes every 2-3 weeks to freshen things up, and I can literally spend up to 2 hours just climbing. After spending about 2 months climbing before I injured my finger, I was able to progress to V4.As I mentioned earlier, they have a nice gym here too which comes with standard gym equipment as well some tires and a sled. There are also a ton of pull up bars with varying grip formations, which I like to hit after climbing.

The place has showers free lockers and a sauna. They also have a cafe/lounge area and with outlets lto plug in your electronics. The problems are plenty, diverse and well set. The entire facility is well maintained and clean. The staff is friendly, and the yoga classes are geared specifically for climbers, not just the average Bay area watered up version. Altogether this is an amazing place with reasonable prices and pretty much everything you can ask for from a bouldering gym.

Bridges is one of the best bouldering gyms Ive ever been to. I cant say that I am the most experienced; however, Ive been to a handful of gyms now. Bridges definitely stands out. They offer a wide variety of climbs, and a good spread of difficulty levels. The crash pads look worn, but theyre ready to take your fall. You can climb confidently! The climbs are fun, too, because they encourage you to climb over the top, and then reward you with easy, ladder like installations from which you may then climb down.If I had to say anything negative about Bridges, I would say that some of their handholds are worn to the point of being smooth (but not entirely, of course). This is frustrating to someone like me; however, I also have to say that this was different from what Im used to, and in that spirit it was good for me to try to keep my grip on smoother handholds.Bonus: They have slack lines, and I pluralize to indicate that there are a variety of slack lines. If youre like me, and had only ever been on a gibbon classic or surfer, then youre in for a treat. All I all I would say that this is my in my top two favorite gyms, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Always impressed with the quality and cleanliness at this gym. I had planned on going to Iron Works, but remembered this place was closer to an appointment I had and switched my plans last minute. Great gym. Excellent padded floors. Awesome past vertical bouldering cave and routes in general. Wish there were more balance demanding routes but that’s okay. Enjoy their yoga classes too. Clean showers and sauna, takes a minute for the hot water to come thru but it gets there. Also lots of workout equipment but I haven’t tried their weight lifting classes yet. Pretty spacious. Much more reasonably priced than other local gyms. That being said I’m happy to write Bridges a complimenting review but don’t all rush in at once. I enjoy that it’s not super crowded all hours of the day.

Bridges is that place every town and city wants. Its like that classic community boxing gym you see in the movies, where everybody knows (or is getting to know) everybody. The staff are super helpful and present with adults and kids alike, new climbers and seasoned vets. If youve never been to bridges, give them a try. Also, they just updated the weigh room to be geared far more toward climbers. They have yoga, slack, and martial arts classes too, but Im not as familiar with those. Shout out to Benny and Kennith whove always been super warm and gracious.

Jason was our coach for our session. It was a small group of first time climbers so that worked well. He was great at explaining different techniques, what different boulders are called and how to use them. I had a fun time. I fell a few times and made it over the wall a few times. It is definitely a work out and was a really nice experience for it being my first time. Tip one, dont wear rings. My hands were a little sore and swollen after the climb, the shoes are really tight, you typically need about a size bigger than your normal size and even then they are supposed to be tight. The shoes smell really bad. Other than that- great time!!

Took an intro to bouldering class here. Had a great time, BUT fair warning: the rental shoes smell noxious, and the stink will linger even if you scrub your feet after. They say they spray them after each use, but whatever theyre doing to desanitize is clearly not enough; even before you put them on they stink up the area. If youre renting shoes, bring an extra pair of socks to change into so you wont transfer unpleasant odors to your own shoes. As I didnt come prepared, I had to let my own shoes breathe for a week to get rid of the stink (which none of my other shoes have). It also took a few days for the smell to come off my feet, which usually dont normally smell. In fact, Im a little worried the bacteria permanent transferred to my feet lol.As for the climbing itself--lots to offer for different skill levels, and the intro class was a great way to learn the basics. Despite not doing much climbing myself, I got a great workout and was sore in places I didnt even know could get sore. The staff are friendly and informative, and the gym wasnt too busy even on a weekend. The gym equipment and machines seems pretty worn, but its nice they even offer them in the first place.

It was great exactly what I was looking for. I had an insanely fun day with my friend bouldering. The only thing I didnt think of was how sore I would be after 6 hours of bouldering. The answer is...EXTREMELY SOREA way to lessen it though (for first time climbers), that I did not do is to stretch out your forearms, wrists, and fingers before you climbed. After you climb definitely try and take a bath.
