This gym has some pretty cool equipment like a hip thrust machine, some prime arm equipment, a kabuki swiss bar, and a cool standing calf raise machine but it doesnt have a dang hack squat haha. Thats why I took off a star. Other than that this is the best 24 hour gym Ive been to so far. Clean and very modern looking.

Quite a few machines are broken, mostly stationary bikes. Not too many wearing masks. Don’t see too many wiping machines down, except the staff which leaves the front desk bare, which people just walk in with no check in. Went there last night at 9:45 pm and place was jam packed.The music playing was heavy rap very very loud. Please keep the music to iHeart radio! I have my own music with covering my ear headphones, but could still hear the damn rap music. If I wanted to go to a rap concert I would. Please fix this! I was told that ONLY MANAGERS can control the music. Please fix this!

The gym has a nice open space that makes it feel like you can breathr and very clean facility. New equipment is awesome, can get a bit crowded though.

Wow !! This gym is literally the coolest!! Has everything I need for my workouts. The people are super nice and very helpful. I love working out here it is well kept and clean. Great place for heavy lifting have cross training. 10/10 for sure !!

Switched to this gym from Equinox as its much closer to where I live. The monthly fee is on par with a lot of local gyms, and offers more pure workout/gym equipment for the price. I believe you also get access to other 24 Hour Fitness Gyms, since this is a SuperSport.I show up really early, so this isnt an issue for me, but I do wish they had more squat racks, and that the staff would rerack the weights more often. I can imagine this being an issue on peak hours. Other than that, this gym has pretty much everything you need.In summary: For its price and location, I really cant complain about this gym. It gets the job done, and for those who are looking for more customer service oriented/cleanliness gyms, there are those out there.With regards to current California rules, I personally dont mind their flexibility, since everyone who goes to any gym should expect to be exposed to something. I have been going to this gym when they were open, and have not been exposed or been sick from the feared superspreader.

Dont tell you until your checked in that you need a proof of shot.

Gym is awesome but once you try to cancel your membership starts your headache, been trying to cancel mine for at least 3 month without any success and also Ive been charged every single month.

Employees constantly hanging up on me when asking simple questions. (If 3 day pass is available at this location etc) Rude staff. Waste of time.

Beautiful new gym! Nicest 24 I have ever been to for sure. Its a Super Sport so the membership is a little more than other 24hrs, but it should have a juice bar then! No shakes?! What gives...

For a week straight I wore an exercise mask with ventilation for better breathing. Also my nose and mouth remain covered the entire time. Dude decides to walk to me and say masks with ventilation aren’t allowed. When I asked how am I supposed to breathe he couldn’t answer me. Now I have to have my nose uncovered or I can’t catch my breathe just so they can come and tell me to cover my nose. You want me to suffocate?

Decent gym. They could be better at maintaining some of their nice fairly new equipment.

I was planning to join, but every time I walk by they have CNN propaganda on all screens. I wont subject myself to that while working out.

It has 2 gym sections with just about every bit of workout equipment you can imagine. Go work out and chill at the spa afterwards. Definitely worth it.

Opened up without any notice and charged my account for the month. Super shady and certainly not what I wanted to deal with in a Pandemic. One customer rep wanted me to come in to the gym to cancel my membership .

Yes, Im giving a FIVE star review. :)HOW I USE IT:I mostly perform calisthenics, body weight, and free weight exercises. I dont use the classes or personal classes (yet).UNIQUE AND CLEAN:After being open about half a year now, its still seems new and very clean, organized, and well-kept. More elbow room and vertical space than I expected, allowing for a more of ground exercises. I noticed their staff regularly organizing and cleaning equipment.STAFF:I havent had the pleasure of having their trainers, but have eavesdropped and they do appear to be knowledgeable and attentive. In order to improve my recovery times after workouts, Darnell is very effective as a Recovery Therapy Specialist. I look forward to my sessions with her.MANAGEMENT:I think management is key, since its ultimately where the bucks stops and ensures the outcomes above. One great example is I brought up a very touchy issue to the General Manager Jeff about one of the trainers appears to have misheard me and accused me of disrespecting one of their staff. He was very professional and handled the situation effectively and discretely.1/29/19 Update:1. Noticed broken clock at swimming pool, broken poolside shower.2. While checking in I overheard on 2 separate occasions the front desk didnt have the best bedside manners when speaking with members about their trial membership.Yes, not a big deal....my 24 Hour Super Sport membership is still a great value.

The best 2 hours of my day. You can find me here EVERY MORNING pushing the fitness goals forward. After work the place is packed: lines for the showers and no parking spots. So get up at 5 am and get it done BEFORE everyone else gets a slice of your day. Plenty of equipment here for whatever goal you want to achieve. Theres even a lap pool. I love this place.

Been there from the start and its been all downhill. Not clean if you look closely youll see bugs/sludge in drains and showers, dirt caked in sauna. Broken vents, shower heads, shower handles, swimsuit dryer, and even the plastic bag holder. All broken and Jimmy rigged at best never fixed properly. Need a solid manager who has pride in their job.....it shows that they have none. These fixes would be fixed out of my pocket before I would let it go several months until it reflects poorly on my job. Wheres a zero star button when you need one. *UPDATE* CANCELLED ACCOUNT

This place is sweet. Theres a wide range of workout equipment - free weights, weight machines, various types of cardio, rowing machines, medicine balls, bouncy balls, weird stretching racks plus a bunch of stuff I dont even recognize and look forward to learning about. Theres a pool and a sauna and a steam room and a hot tub. Theres a poolside shower as well as spacious shower stalls in the locker rooms. Theres a cycle room and a group exercise room with mats & weight equipment that has various live and some video-based classes offered every day. Also has a good intense workout vibe.

I like this location. Staff is nice always. And its fairly clean for the gym that customers are obviously don’t care and trash every day... People wake up! You just trash the place and expect workers to run around and clean your butts?! I feel for the employees and wanted to say that I support them and they are doing an amazing job taking care of ungrateful customers every day. Thank you for what you do! And I will stay a 24 fitness customer forever :) I enjoy the ability to have 1 membership and go to 24 fitness around the USA no matter where I travel to! Its awesome!

They stole money continuing charging to members while they were closed during Covid. No refund. Horrible service. Find other gyms if you look for a place to work out.

Awesome option for anyone in the east bay. Clean showers, lots of equipment, not too full. This place was definitely needed and it’s so worth the drive past the next 24 hour fitness. Wouldn’t mind is there was one exactly like this in Oakland or Berkeley. Overall awesome staff and gym.

I love this gym! Theres plenty of cardio machines to choose from and a variety of great classes and instructors. I met the GM, and he was very friendly. I even got a happy birthday wish when I came in at 4:30am.Parking is also plentiful and free.Keep up the good work!

They keep increasing price, but quality is quite below desired. And its always freaking crowded.

This place speaks for itself. The best 24hr fitness Ive seen in bay area. Since its recently opened, everything is pretty new and untouched, huge parking lot,hug workout area, new equipments, clean and nice pool area, most importantly super nice and professional employees.

No towels, cardio machines do not have entertainment. Less machine verity than the average super sport. Hard to believe it’s called a super sport, should be called super crowded sports. Would have put zero stars but two are for cleanliness.

This is a top notch gym, with great sales people and great service people. I would advise my friends to visit this place!Five stars!

Its clean and the equipments are new. A little small that i expected but it doesnt matter as long as it can help me to achieve my goal im pretty good with it! Just see for yourself. Dont be discouraged if you see some negative reviews at first i was skeptical until i went in myself!

Unfortunately, I agree with many of the recent comments. The facility has simply been allowed to deteriorate. Showers are becoming unusable - mildew, drains filled with ??, vent screws rusting out, no plastic bags for wet clothes anymore, sauna vent kicked in and ignored for a month, drains lining the pool poorly (if ever) cleaned. Clearly the manager has either a room temperature IQ or, most likely, doesnt care.

Best 24 hour fitness bar none! New equipment, workers even clean at night, spotless, bathrooms and showers.

Nice shiny new gym, very spacious. Staff is friendly and there are plenty of them. Gets very crowded in the evening, easy going in the morning. They have some classes that get somewhat full, but only one room for classes so that probably wont change a whole lot. The cycle classes have a separate room. Plenty of cardio machines, Ive never had to wait in the morning. Theres a lap pool, a spa, and a sauna(co-ed all). The locker rooms are big and clean with large lockers. They have towel service. The free weight zone stays busy but not too bad in the morning. It has a nice set up so it doesnt feel like one giant open room(it is, but with some separating walls and alcoves. Alot of TV screens with different channels going. Water refill and fountain stations all around, as well as hand sanitizer stations and equipment cleaner stations. A solid basic gym choice!

The club is a little small, but the equipment is all new, the locker rooms are clean, and they have private individual showers whi h is nice.

Plenty of open space, new equipment, a ton of machines and free weights, and clean. Also does not get very crowded and parking has never been issue for me. All you could ask for in a gym!

Its great that the gym is close to my house but its a disappointment that there are too many of the digital classes at the El Cerrito location and not having a live instructor. Whats the point of having a gym where you cannot interact with the live instructor? Do not come to the El Cerrito location if you expecting a live instructor. Its a waste time and membership fee.

There is no line for anything almost all of the time and if there is there is plenty of stuff to do while you wait

Since the Berkeley location closed, the crowds have been difficult to navigate. It is 8:55pm and I have been waiting for an elliptical machine to be available for 15 minutes. Every single treadmill is current occupied. The facilities are clean and the staff is friendly.

Hi if youre French and youre hesitant to choose this room, hesitate more! I signed up for the rest of my 3 month stay and I assure you its the best of East Bay, a big gym, a boxing zone if you want to practice throwing a few shots, a large cloakroom, large pool, jacuzzi, sauna. So very good quality price launch! Big up to the staff!
