I came in and quickly found what I came for (and more) and had a quick, friendly check out experience.

In general I really like this store, but saw a guy walking around without a mask who looked unhealthy, told the people at the front desk and when I identified him they said we deal with him all the time and don’t want to deal with him anymore so they let him stay in the store and don’t bother him. Doesn’t sound very safe for the rest of us. Until Covid ends I’m not coming here again.

The short girl who was working here today is very rude, if she doesnt like her job she should look for another place to work, she works at night

I Worked here for almost a year before I found a better job, it was cool. I only had 1 problem and that was Tony the supervisor who is so immature/petty and childish for his age. I had a bad day he noticed, so he made it very clear we werent friends and he went out his way to worsen my day and belittle me using words......so I did the same!!....The difference is he couldnt handle it and I could so he called the cops and tried to get me arrested/fired.....LMAO ....if u throw rocks at me Ima throw rocks at u LMAO

There was a very handsome guy working in the pharmacy. He was very polite and made very good conversation that i didnt even realize I was waiting for my prescription. I think he mentioned his name was erick. He was very charming and i only go in to pick up my prescription when he is working. 10/10 recommended.

Every CVS I have been to throughout the country has been a mismanaged nightmare and this one is no different. It is almost impossible to get decent customer service and I am extremely nervous about trusting them with my prescriptions; however, since Prescription Insurance Steering is not illegal I am being forced to use this mismanaged mess of a pharmacy.Turns out they screwed up and only gave me a 30 day prescription even though the doctor wrote a 90 day one. They are so incompetent.

Called the front desk at this store to cancel an order from the photo center coz nobody was picking up their phone from there. Asked what my name was and I told him and then he just hanged up on me after that. No information given to me that it will be taken care of or have a peace of my mind that my request will be granted or reached on time to the next person. He said absolutely nothing after that coz he hanged up on me just like that. This guy was rude coz he had terrible manners over the phone and he lack of information and reassurance to a customer.

The workers are great to deal with people and their personality is so friendly love the way they treat others. I would highly recommend you to go to CVS pharmacy if you need anything.

This CVS is so unorganized. The Pharmacy staff are stressed out and trying their best to cope and help people. Rx is seldom ready when promised. They even lost a hand written rx when my husband needed it for surgery. I have changed to the CVS on San Pablo Ave. Totally different atmosphere, love doing business there.

I arrived at cvs around 8pm I ask do you have push buggys she said no very rude. I grabbed a hand cart to begin shopping. I proceed to the Easter isle where I cleared the shelf of jellybeans. I walked around and observed they had the Mickey mouse items I had been searching for. I graded a laundry basket and filled it up. Now tying to make it to the register. Everyone standing around now Im kicking the jelly beans in a basket on the floor while trying to walk with all the other items. Get to to register while the workers watching doing nothing now all of a sudden the manager is standing behind me looking at the jewelry. Bottom line everyone is not a thief I spent over 100.00 never again everyone doesnt steal. because there Black!

Good selection. They have the big national brands, but also some lesser known high end brands. A good mix. Very convenient.

I had a great check-out experience today as the staff was extra attentive to an issue I had in checkout. I was supposed to get extra bucks back with the item I purchased (as advertised) and they didnt print when my receipt came out. I was just like oh well but the manager was right on the issue and made sure that I got my extra bucks back in the end. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The check out experience is terrible. The cashiers want everyone to wait in a single check out line, however there are no signs or barriers. This confuses customers, who yell at each other, it also frustrates the cashiers who wonder why people are confused.

Workers dont have on masks

Terrible service. I dropped my prescription off on Tuesday they had to order and said it would be ready on Saturday. So I called to see if it was ready was on hold for 35 minutes and was able to drive there while on hold. I got here and the lady ask what are you trying to pick up lol. Im still waiting as I type this 50 minutes.

Somebody got a hold of my husband’s debit card and spent 218 over on this cvs and it went through because guess what?!! They never bothered to check the ID. Thanks CVS!

I am very happy with the service at CVS. They alert me when my prescriptions need refilling and automatically call my doctor to refill subscriptions that have lapsed. Dont know why so many people have complaints, think it might be a squeaky wheel thing from a disgruntled customer. Id give them ten stars for service and reliability.

Was here with a friend and she wanted to get a refund a gift card she had purchase and while she was talking the supervisor “Tony” would talk over her and he then said “do you want me to answer you or I can just walk away”. My friend and I are Blind and were treated so disrespectful. She was trying to explain to him that whoever was helping her, had gotten her the wrong card. So disrespectful and a JERK!! Not a good supervisor

Horrible customer service! My last visit read my very last visit to this location. The little girl that was the cashier was very rude. I filed a customer complaint and it went nowhere. The DM called and left a message on my phone like he was concerned. I called him back letting him know a good time that I could be reached and never heard from him again. Thanks for caring!!

After my experience at this CVS I promise to myself never going to a CVS again. The pharmacist left me waiting more than two hours to fill my prescription. It is an unacceptable neglect. I was crying of so much pain.

I am giving one star to very poor services in cvs pharmacy department. Javari - this guy in cvs pharmacy dept is very rude, unprofessional, careless, lazy. Seriously this guy attitude is unbelievable Whenever I went to pick up the my medicine, he asked to me to come after 15 mins so that he can ready my medicine. After 15 mins I went to again to pick med, he is already disappeared. Either he took break or off from work without informing or leaving notes any information to next staff. My medicine was ready at all. He did this few tiny times with me. Last night when I went to pharmacy he did same and few more people complaining same things about him to front desk. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see their managers to complaints about him.

CVS that store has everything organized and thats easy and fast for everyone to find whatever you need .

The Pharmacy is a disasterThey dont have enough employees to handle the load. The line will snake down the aisle and then more. What is worse the Pharmacist hides behind the counter looking over their glasses at people and not helping. If they want to be a neighborhood Pharmacy then they need to get out and help people, if they want to be a assembly line then they need to speed it up!

Almost impossible to even get a prescription filled. No one around when lines are down the isles. Phone calls go unanswered and hold times are 25 minutes plus.Who is managing this store? Complete disaster, I feel bad for the employees but worse for the customers.Dont waste your time.

I would give this store zero star if I could. First, they give us a totally wrong prescription medicine. Think about how dangerous this is! Second, they refuse to return and their reason is they cant resell it to others and have to toss it. This means it is up to us to pay for their mistakes. Third, a lady who claimed herself as the pharmacy manager said it is all our fault to get the wrong prescription, and none of the mistakes is theirs. They are ABSOLUTELY right even if they give us the wrong prescription. I would suggest everyone not to come this store.

Very poor service at the pharmacy. Got a text that my prescription was ready, and when I showed up, it was not.

This is the worst cvs I have ever been too. The lines are always long and they will only have one checkout open even if there are several crew members on the floor. The pharmacy is the most incompetent and lazy Ive ever come across. Ive had to call multiple times back and forth from my doctor to even get my prescription going. I want told once that they dont carry a specific medication and the ball was in the doctors court. I will be taking my business ekes website from now on.

The casher was very rude. When she asked if I had their membership card, I said no. Then I thought about it more and said I might have it but I didnt have it with me, she loudly accused me of lying. She made a big deal complaining. Im never going back.

Large location with great selection, but it seems to always be understaffed. Despite that, the staff are friendly and helpful.

No human organization can be perfect. What I like about the two CVS Drug Stores is they have earned my trust and loyalty. I live near UCB campus but choose to drive to two specifically when there there are others closer. I was raised by a doctor who was both a General Surgeon and a doctor in a field which is now called Family Medicine. I know important the personal touch is to those who are ill and needing care as soon as possible. I felt this care at both the CVS on ROSE and Shattuck and the one at the El Cerrito plaza.(please excuse the spelling ; I out here from back East.). Both do their best to provide me excellent service.Before I found the store on Rose, I discovered the El Cerrito CVS. My first experience at this store was they treated me like a life long member of the community. One of the stores Managers, I believe Mike is his name, went out of his way to provide me help with finding an change a watch battery. They are a royal pain and appreciated his assistance. He and the rest of the group at the Plaza Branch have bent over backwards to be helpful. They care about the whole person and greet me by my first name. They also know the significance of having a Pet. My cat is now listed not as PET, but as Buddy a part of my family. I appreciate all their efforts and worth the drive and wait to be served at the Pharmacy. I say wait not as a complaint as much as just a statement how others must feel the same about CVS. Keep up the great work!

They should change the times they close. I just went there at 10:59 pm and online it says they close at 12am and as I got there the employee say me and started to laugh. It was the only place for me to go to buy diapers but not anymore. This place is just horrible!

I have lived across the street for five years. I get off of work late and its open until midnight. So often i run in at a quarter of. Ive been turner away 3 times because i only had cash . This is only in the last month. Why?
