Dr. Crenna was absolutely wonderful! She did a very thorough exam and I felt like she wanted to make sure all of my concerns were addressed and my questions answered. I happened to be in the store during a little bit of a rush but I didn’t mind waiting as it gave me time to browse the frame selection.Karen was the assistant who helped me check out and finally decide on a pair of frames that comfortably fit me just right. She was incredibly patient, helpful and knowledgeable!I had a very wonderful experience for my first time visit and look forward to returning for my future eye care needs. Thank you, thank you!

I asked if I would be able to drive after dilation and they told me yes so I agreed to it and then was definitely not able to drive after, even with my glasses and wrap around sunglasses that the doctor provided. The doctor told me to just pick up some cheaters and Id be able to see enough to drive home. I dont drive with glasses on and between that and the light I didnt feel safe driving, and also had not planned to buy cheaters while there, so on principle didnt. I had my husband pick me up and left my car in the parking lot overnight, which was annoying as I wouldve planned on this if Id known or just not done the dilation. Staff at the desk were not welcoming and were having a lengthy conversation about frustrations with another customer for the duration of my hour there. Doctor did not introduce self, but was gentle and explained what she was doing, answered all my questions.

My daughter and I had a great experience and we will be back for sure!

I had such a great experience. I went in nervous for my contact fitting but the doctor and staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. The doctor was so thorough in his explanation and so genuine he made me much more relaxed every step of the way. I left my appointment very happy!

Dr. Elton is the best! I have had compromised vision for most of my life and he always takes the time to listen to my concerns and explains what is going on with my vision and how it can be corrected. I trust him completely and would recommend him to anyone who is in need of an eye exam.

The girls at the desk were friendly and warm. They even took time to straighten out my old pair of sunglasses so they finally fit properly and were sparkling clean and it was free. The names of those working escape me but I was acknowledged immediately by the front desk and they got things rolling right away. The exam was done expertly and quickly. At all points, the team were on top of their game.

I found the optometrist to very knowledgeable and efficient. She spent time to explain the findings of the exam and answer my questions. I purchased a new pair of glasses and I found the process to be low stress and I found the technician that helped me with the glasses to be very helpful.

Great experience. Front staff was helpful and Optometrist was knowledgable and explained my issues easily. No pressure to buy new glasses or contacts if I didnt need them, which I appreciate. I also needed my yearly retina scan and the digital (no dilation needed) exam is wonderful and worth the slight extra cost!

I always find eye exams stressful for some reason, but todays visit was excellent. The Dr has such calm demeanor. There is a huge improvement with the clinical support team too. Lilly, Ellie (? name) who scheduled my appointment and fitted my glasses was so sweet and knowledgable.

No wait time at all and very sanitary (maybe the short wait time is due to COVID, but it was still nice not having to wait more than 10 minutes.) All of the staff were very informative and helpful. I will be coming here again!

I was asked if I wanted dilation or pay extra to have a different procedure, I TOLD THE EMPLOYEE DILATION. She charged me for the other procedure and I didnt tell doctor I wanted dilation. I didnt say anything at the appointment, but that is not good business practice and you have lost a customer. The Optician was very good. Its just the front end sales people I have an issue with.

Felt like the Dr. was sprinting through a checklist to get me in and out as fast as possible. I had concerns about my eyesight like possible night blindness and she didn’t seem interested in discussing anything not on her checklist. I didn’t feel cared for, and was worried she’d miss things with how fast she went. I won’t be back.

Quick and easy

About a month ago I developed sudden eye flashes and floaties that made me concerned I might have a detached retina. I was lucky to get a same day appointment within the hour with Dr.Jonee Brandt at the Southdale Target Elton EyeCare Climic (no other Target facility would slot me in for at least several days) Id been stuck in traffic and was 15 minutes late for the appointment, and her schedule was full. Nonetheless, she took me in, did a thorough exam (no detached retina!), and took the time to test me thoroughly and explain her conclusions. She had me come in today, a few weeks later, for a follow-up. What impressed me about her was her thoroughness, care, bedside manner, and that she took the time to explain things carefully and in detail.
