I came in with my 6 year old son today, scared and unsure of what this procedure was actually going to be like. I left with happy tears. Dr. Wandera and her team were absolutely amazing!! From the initial consultation to the actual procedure, they were patient with us, providing all of the information we needed and all the alternatives available to us. They did everything to ensure I was at ease and my son was comfortable - a far cry from our previous dentist and clinic. The 45 minute drive across town to see her is totally worth it. This practice has restored my trust in pediatric dentists. My sons too.

Dr Wandera is not a very friendly doctor. This was my first experience being asked to wait out of the room while a dentist (or anyone) examined my children. Mind you my children were 5 and 7 yo and they were new patience. If she was their regular dentist, I wouldn’t mind. But that was the first time we ever saw her. I understand the examination room was small, but she was acting like I was a nuisance. I was a petite lady; in no way I occupied that much space.The 2nd time around, Dr Wandera told me she saw a cavity in one of my children’s tooth and schedule my daughter for filling. I questioned it because I couldn’t see it; but she told me I may not see it yet, but the cavity was there. I thought if I couldn’t see it yet, and it wasn’t even permanent tooth, there’s no reason to do anything about it. Three years later, my daughter is now with different dentist and I have never been told she has cavity/needed any procedure besides routine X-rays. Just thought of doing the review after reading a news about dentist doing unnecessary procedure

Dr. Wandera is an exceptional orthodontist and dentist! Years with her have proven to be so positive. Her office staff are excellent. Very welcoming and outstanding personal care. We recommend Dr. Wandera whole heartedly.

Dr. Wandera has taken care of both of my daughters orthodontic and dentistry needs. I am writing this review in order to thank her publicly for her caring and professional work. My youngest daughter had a difficult procedure done and Dr. Wandera led her through it calmly and my daughter was supported to be her best and most brave self. My oldest was so proud of her teeth and the hygiene practices that Dr. Wandera taught her. I always feel educated and knowledgable about all of the care they receive. I thank Dr. Wandera and her staff for being the best dentistry staff.

My daughter was VERY comfortable with her and the staff, they are very clear on whet they plan in doing, what the next steps will be, and an approximate time line, Im very please with them and will be bringing my other lil ones, and sending people her way!!!💗💗💗

Dr. Wandera is absolutely wonderful. I took my active two year old son for his first dental visit and I was the nervous one :) She put me at ease right away with her calming demeanor and knowledge. My little guy was quite the rascal running around her office and being silly. She found him to be an absolute delight, which is how I knew working with children is her true calling. The office staff is also very professional. I would recommend her hands down!

She is an exceptional dentist & orthodontist. Her attention to detail, thoroughness, and keeping current on the latest research, make her an expert you can trust. She presents her observations, multiple perspectives in the field, her clinical opinion, and then solicits patient & parent preferences. She does not insist or demand you do something, but rather she presents what she can see, showing imaging and models when needed, fully explaining the details, and then allows the patient & parents to choose the course. Rare is it to find a Dentist as compitent, skilled, and removed from ego. The only negative is that she doesn’t take adult patients.

Dr. Wandera is amazing and wonderful with kids! My son had his first ever dentist appointment today, and she made it fun for him and put him at ease. I don’t think he wanted to leave. Highly recommend!

Switched to Dr. Wandera after my youngest developed fear--true fear--of going to the dentist. She is simply amazing and puts her patients first. She has come in early for us, stayed late, and shows concern for our needs. Dr. Wandera does not do extra work for the sake of doing more work. My daughters love her and her staff!

Dr. Wanderas practice is staffed with caring and friendly professionals. Our son needed some fillings and the whole process was painless and very positive for him. He came home with a dental kit filled with kid-focused products. The experience he had with Dr. Wandera and her staff reduced any fears he had previously and he is happy to return for follow up care. From a parents perspective, it is easy to schedule an appointment at a convenient time, and I was provided with one on one time with Dr. Wandera to discuss any concerns, and then to review the results of my sons check-up and our next steps. I recommend her services highly.

If you ignore the billing issues you would face, this is a good place for kids dental.Surprise fees, not taking into consideration insurance coverage, and many more other issues ....

I have been taking my sons to Dr. Angela Wandera and Associates for over 5 years and I like her and her staffs professionalism. They are very friendly and treat each person as an individual. They make the child feel at ease and enjoy coming back. They have top quality equipment, which makes a big first time impression. I would recommend them to anybody looking for pediatric dentist and/or orthodontist.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Wanderas dental practice. She is extremely friendly and personable, and is a favorite of my daughter. She is also extremely knowledgeable, conscientious and focused on getting her patients the best care at reasonable cost. I wish my contractor had the same commitment to my welfare.

Dr. Wandera is the BEST! I have two children who have been going there for years and they like going to the dentist! (Even after all of the work that my 8 year old has gone through!) Dr. Wanderas talents, personality and care are so wonderful. Right now we are going through a move across the country and her willingness to help and support us makes me even more sad to leave.She is highly recommended from me and my kids!

My son has been Seeing Doctor Wandera and Molly. The two of them have been fantastic!! He gets nervous just walking into a dentists office, He is very nervous about treatments, has a small mouth and had seen other Dentists. Other dentists wanted me to take him to children s hospital for treatment. Dr. Wandera took the time to explain to him what te treatments did, the tools she would use and went slow and spoke to him. we are over half we through our treatments and everything has gone so well. I thank Dr Wandera and her staff for all they have done for us. She has our highest recommendation.

My several experiences at Dr. Angela Wandera and Associates have been wonderful. Dr. Angela Wandera is very professional and cares about giving her patients the best care possible. Overall, 10/10!

From her office staff to her nurses and her herself, I was extremely pleased with the experiences we had. Her office staff was able to answer all of my questions over the phone and because they answered my questions in great length I went ahead and scheduled my 3yr olds appointment. We got his appointment schedule for that Saturday, he was examined, diagnosed and Dr. Wandera had a game plan in place. His surgery was scheduled for under a month later and everything we discussed is what hapened, nothing more and nothing less. I would reccommend her office to any parent with little ones who are afraid of the Dentist because she talks to them not to you and expect you to exlain it to them. My 3yr old is hearing impaired and completely nonverbal and she spoke to him and treated him like every other patient that has come through her office.

I work with Dr. Wandera and find her to be extremely capable, knowledgeable, and well-qualified in her practice. She is very friendly, but thorough while interviewing her patients pre-operatively, and is impeccable in her work.

This business hits you with surprise fees, doesnt communicate the costs well, and misleads clients on requirements vs recommendations. You have options, explore them.
