1. She came in room dressed in near Hazmat attire2. MA started right in pitching to have me use a cream on my face that could make me look like I had been in a house fire with 2nd & 3rd degree burns (some kind of chemo based treatment.3. Sprayed freezing application on my forehead but never mentioned it as an option on my groin area,4. She took 2 biopsies which turned out to be fine on my leg and back.5. Gave me a script for groin area and to come back in two months.6. I was still trying to ask her questions while she walked out the door and was told MA would answer.7. I waited 3 months for this appt ! I also showed her a big round circle on my back/shoulder which she never commented on nor acknowledged.I have since seen another dermatologist and got in within 2 weeks and was given treatment options and will Not be back to Forefront. Follow up appt was made for 2 weeks.

I’ve graduated from college and moved out of town and still travel back to go to Dr. VanAcker. She’s the best!

I was a 1st time patient and was a fantastic experience. Dr VanAcker was an excellent listener and very good at explaining what needed to be done as well as future preventive treatment. Her assistant was also very professional and supportive.

When I called to cancel and reschedule my September 16th appointment I was appalled by the Covid screening questions. These are not the kinds of questions that should be asked to schedule an appointment, it was very disappointing, and felt very intrusive due to the nature of my call.

Best dermatologist in the area. She is passionate and caring. Explains in detail what your condition is and how she is going to treat it. No questions left unanswered . Her assistant Audra is the same. After the doctor leaves the room she makes sure you know your medications if prescribed...how to take them...writes down instructions for them and answers any further questions you have. Its been difficult to find a dermatologist Im comfortable with. First Audra worked with me to prepare me for body exam. She was exceptional in understanding my concerns. Then Dr Van Acker came in and I literally knew she was the one Ive been praying would come into my life. She was absolutely amazing personally and professionally. Very loving and kind, tender and explained everything she was doing, talked about the moles and what kind they were, prepared me to have one removed, never felt the needle. Over in seconds. I cannot Express the overall experience but to say, Ive found exactly who I want for my Dr. Ill never want to see anyone else. Shes just perfect for what I need. Dr VanAcker is awesome. She is very personable, professional and is concerned about her patients well-being. I had a mole removed on my shoulder, it is a difficult place to perform surgery because of all the movement that occurs there. She took the time to watch how my skin moved across my shoulder to determine the best incision and sutures. Even though she was with me for quite a while, I never felt that she was rushing to get done. I would definitely recommend her!

My first visit with Dr. Van Acker and I have to say I was impressed. She is professional, explained everything well and made me feel comfortable. Her and the rest of the folks there went out of their way to get me in. There was a mixup on the schedule, but they took care of it, without making any fuss. Not much of that these days, especially in the medical field.

Very satisfied! This was my first visit to Forefront Dermatology with my new doctor, Dr Van Acker. I had some precancerous spots treated in my head. The treatment was successful and in keeping with the excellent treatment I have received over the years with Dr. Rinek. The new office is very conveniently located and the staff remains top-notch.
