I like some other reviewers found Dr. Carone very rude. If she thinks your question is stupid, she is going to let you know by giving you the absolute rudest look and a snarky answer. I would think someone in her position could be patient and kind with any question she is asked regardless if she thinks it is silly (for ex. apparently asking if it is hard to get used to bifocals is a stupid question and she made sure to give me attitude for asking it). I was so annoyed when I left the office. I will never be going there again.As an aside, I did find the receptionist incredibly lovely and friendly!

Love Dr. Carone. She was very friendly and seemed quite competent. Especially love the fact its a small practice so none of that youre a piece of meat like other places. Visits always quick, yet I feel through. The problem with most eye exams is that they forget about you while youre waiting to be dilated. Then the moves on to other patients and now youre sitting for 30 minutes after getting dilated. After three years, this has NEVER been the case here.

I just recently saw one of the eye doctors (Ann was her name I think) and she was so rude. She barely spent any time with me and I told her I had dizziness related to my vision (especially with bright fluorescent lights) and she told me really rudely that dizziness isn’t related to vision..which is not true at all! She told me to see my primary doctor for dizziness. The receptionists were really nice though and I feel bad they have to deal with this lady.

Very professional! Got my eyes examined and I was satisfied!

Rude doctor (East Haven branch) was my experience. She doesnt even look at you when she talks and the worse she do her exam in less than 10 min. If you are planning to get contacts forget it, She dont follow up if you are ok with it or not.

The woman who orders the glasses was very rude and disrespectful towards me actually accused me of purposely breaking my glasses to get a new pair
