Dr. Hedde and Direct Doctors are wonderful. The care is very personal and tailored to our familys needs. I can reach Dr. Hedde almost any time and she responds immediately! My daughter has some angst about the doctor, so Dr. Hedde met with us outdoors at the picnic table in the backyard of their office building on a warm, sunny day. This put my daughter so at ease. Dr. Hedde also continually follows up and nudges me about preventative screenings and annual visits. I need this. I am not always as proactive as I should be about my health. I highly recommend Dr. Hedde and Direct Doctors to anyone who is tired of the overcrowded, impersonal care now offered by many PCPs who are simply overwhelmed by a broken system and patient overload.

Dr. Jim Hedde is truly one of a kind! He is one of the most down-to-earth and caring doctors that you will ever come across. He is the opposite of the aloof and distant doctor. He truly cares about your wellbeing and treats you as a unique person, not just a name on a list he has to get through. I’ve personally been a patient of Dr. Turshen’s for almost 5 years and have enjoyed the great care that he has provided, so much so that when my daughter was born, I was eager to sign her up with Dr. Turshen as well.Recently, while trying to introduce new foods to our daughter, she broke into hives. A quick internet search of her symptoms quickly led to panic. We texted Dr. Turshen (on a Saturday evening nonetheless) and within minutes got a call back. He began to triage the situation over the phone and with his guidance, we were able to relax, address the situation and save ourselves from a night in the emergency room. While this is not the only example of Dr. Turshen’s availability and calm, helpful demeanor, it is perhaps the perfect example of the relationship a patient is able todevelop with their doctor in the direct primary care model.

Finding Direct Doctors has been such a relief for me. I am an independent business owner, so my schedule is crazy. I will start with, I was not a doctor person, however now knowing there are quality doctors like Dr Hedde at Direct Doctors, not involved with the insurance industries, that care more about their patients than making money, I can honestly say I am very happy to have the peace of mind knowing, if I need a doctor, I now have one that I can contact whenever I may need to. A breath of fresh air from beginning to end! I was able to schedule a new patient visit right away - as opposed to the others I had called and had to wait weeks to be seen. No wait in the waiting room, no pages of paperwork to fill out! We chatted about my health history and concerns, and Dr. Hedde gave me the options and left the decisions up to me! Less expensive than your monthly cable bill and much more worth it in terms of having a primary care physician who has time to listen and get to know you. Great first visit. Easy online appointment booking, the office was clean/modern and easy to get to, virtually no waiting, and Dr. Turshen himself came out to greet me. He spent a good deal of time getting to know me, answered all of my questions, and clearly outlined next steps.

I am so pleased with Dr. Lauren Hedde, my mom is bedridden and she comes to my house...YES you read correctly, she does house calls!!! She was a breath of fresh air for me! I feel so much better knowing I have a dr that I can call 24/7 and shell answer me! She went right back to office and did what she said shed do because I already got a call from someone she told me shed get for my mom! Young, intelligent, informative, wonderful bedside manner...I couldnt be happier!

Dr. Hedde is great! I always get a quick response via text or email. Ive always gotten an appointment within 24 hours when needed. And Im always communicating with the doctor. Never an administrative person or messaging attendant. This is a model for how all medical practices should operate.

This was the best medical experience Ive ever had! Not only is the office clean & organized but the anxiety of the process is removed by having one on one time with the doctor. I didnt have to worry about catching everyones germs in the waiting room, because there isnt a crowd of people. And there is no worrying about will the nurse translate my issue correctly to the dr. before I see the dr? ..... because there is no middle person! Its all one-on-one with the dr. What a calm and thorough medical experience.

Usually when I first meet a doctor its like being sent to the principals office, whereas when I met Dr. Turshen, I felt a sense of respect and comfortability.
