I never been to this place and location. I know many people who have been here though some experience bad and most good! My grandma (mammaw) works here! And she is the best worker I know she puts smile on people faces and gives good spirit. Shout out to my grandma and all the workers for doing great!

The East Chicago facility is not very helpful. I set up a schedule visit and Ive been postponed 4 times now in a row. Ive been with regional for over 4 years and I am not impressed at all. I stopped going to Regional because I was unsure about the services they provide. I came back to regional in hopes to reconcile and start a new relationship with this organization. I am on disability because of behavioral issues and I feel like Im either being ignored or should take a hint. I just want the truth. This facility is supposed to help people with Behavioral issues not turn them away by canceling scheduled appointments. What is going on here?

I would give this place zero stars! Therapist are useless constantly handing out paperwork, and repeatedly asking how do you feel about that, 2 years later still doing the same thing. Psychiatrist gives out medication that has major interactions with each other and does not give instructions on how to take them. At they they give out 4 meds at a time not even knowing the effect it would have on patient. They don’t even explain the effects. Then when you start feeling sick, there is no doctor on call or anyone you can speak with! All the emergency “person” says is go to the Er if you don’t feel good! Then they’re constantly changing staff, so you can’t even get comfortable with the therapist and psych, because there’s always someone new that you have to retell your story too!

Only three stars due to ongoing remodeling inside the facility. Good thing because it can use some updating. The staff is very polite including the custodian that went out of her way to direct us to the correct area . Im sure I would have rated four stars if the updates had been completed. Entrance is in front on the SOUTH SIDE of the parking lot. One way in, one way out. Theres a few parking spots (including handicapped spaces) in the front and there is wheelchair access.

I went in for a psychiatric evaluation for assumed ADD and was placed with a social worker (she was nice if that helps) and then told I wouldn’t be able to see a doctor for 2 months! Doctors or almost 3 months over booked and the booking lady is NEVER at her desk. I need to constantly play phone tag just to get in touch with anyone important, terrible experience. If you really need to see a doctor for possibly medication or a psychiatric evaluation just go somewhere else.

Be prepared to sit for long periods of time. Doctors are way over booked. I sit in the waiting room with my son for an hour or more for a 15 min visit EVERY SINGLE TIME. If you happen to miss your appointment be prepared to NOT be seen again for well over a month.

Worst pharmacy customer service I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Said I had medication I didnt even take.Overcharged me ,and went out of there way to cancel my insurance.Just because I was a little different then other patients.

How do I even start this. First of all, that waiting list is crazy, I had to wait 3 whole months (if I was qualified) to see a psychiatrist. Second, the assessment was a joke. How? Because when I asked if I can have proof that I am trying to get help to show other doctors ( just in case I end up in the emergency room again) that I am trying to get help and not drugs, they wouldnt give me that; nothing. Finally, its the scheduled day, but they didnt even give me the psychiatrist I requested and I have already moved to Chicago. I was running late because of an accident. I called 2 times, before someone finally picked up. The receptionist (or whoever) was not elated at all, and sounded rather annoyed that I called him. I told him about my appointment, and quickly he just transferred me to the psychiatrist I was supposed to see. Well...she didnt answer. I called back, and then they said they can only wait 15 mins after my appointment or they have to reschedule me in OCTOBER! Well, for a moment, I thought I wasnt gonna make it, so I canceled. When I checked my gps, I learned that if I took the skyway, I could make it. So, I quickly called back, and said I can make it in 15 mins after my appointment. Well...the psychiatrist cut it down to 5 when she heard, because she knew I couldnt make it before 10 mins. Originally, it was 15 mins after, then when I called back, she cut the 5 mins...the exact 5 mins I needed, I would of made it if she hadnt changed her mind. One of the reps said she didnt even have anymore appointments after me. For anyone thinking this place gives a damn about their patients, they dont. My own appointed psychiatrist, Sefelisha Harmon, couldnt even talk to me herself. Do not get help here, because they dont truly care about people with mental disabilities if youre not convenient enough.
