They took me quickly at a last minutes notice. I had a burst blood vessel and I felt like it was getting worse. They were so considerate and were so nice to take me on such last minute notice. The doctor was also so incredibly nice and answered all my questions and really put my mind at ease. I highly recommend them.

The best experience ever at this East Brunswick location. The staff and doctors have been excellent with my children. My teen had her first contact lens there - the staff have been so wonderful! I would especially like to mention Bhoomi who has been so wonderful and patient with every step of the way in regards to ordering prescription contact lens for my daughter. She is definitely a notch above the usual front-office staff I have experienced elsewhere.

Ladies at front desk were very kind and understanding and doctor was very friendly and helpful.

I strongly recommend this practice! Dr. Case gave me the most comprehensive eye exam I can remember, and patiently addressed all of my concerns. After receiving such great service, I felt inclined to take the time myself to share my positive experience with others. Dr. Case is clearly experienced and knowledgeable and has great bedside manner! I plan to go come back again myself, and bring my family too.

The doctors and staff at Contact Lens and Vision in East Brunswick are excellent!I went in for a morning appointment and i was out in about 30 minutes. The office is clean and the technicians wipe every machine down right before I take each test.The doctor took her time and explained everything in details.I even got some help with my confusing insurance benefits from front desk.I recommend them highly!!!!!

They just want to make money. I called them to set up an appointment after speaking to my insurance company and told them to schedule a regular eye exam that was covered by my insurance coz i just needed the script for my glasses. Confirmed again when i went for the appointment and they said, yes this exam is covered. Now after a month i get a bill for the eye exam stating this was a different eye exam that is not covered by the insurance.

The only good thing I can say about the experience is that the Doctor himself was very nice. The women at the registration desk were alternatively rude and ignored me while I was there. Then after I left I never got a call about my contacts so I had to call them at least 5 times over the course of a month about the status of a TRIAL pair of contacts. Once those finally came in I picked them up and never heard from them again. Will never recommend this office to anyone.

Been going to this place for my eyeglass prescription and when I finally decided to try out contact lenses, they were very helpful and accommodating with this transition. Very friendly staff and doctors, especially office manager Ronnie. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

I am being charged $400 for an eye exam for glasses. When asked if I have insurance I said yes. They called to check and said its pending. I started getting bills and was told my insurance denied coverage so I am responsible to pay for the exam. I paid it and received another bill, when I called the facility they could not tell me what the charges were on my bill or the correct amount I paid. They said to disregard the bill that they would talk with billing and take care of it. This has happened for the last 5 months. Now Im told by the office manager I am responsible for the bill but I can dispute it with Heather the billing manager. I was told shed call and she didnt. I contacted the facility and ask for a corporate number and I was told they do not have a corporate contact. Also when I asked how much an eye exam would cost without insurance, it is $129. Deceitful!!! This has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I want to rectify this situation however when I call the manager is not there and there is no corporate number.This website said they contact all who have a complaint, so please contact me!Marybeth

Dr. Caren Brill was wonderful, patient, thorough and very competent. Dr. Brill made certain that my refraction was perfect before issuing my eyeglass prescription. I would recommend her as an optometrist to anyone .

Only giving this place two stars because the doctor was very friendly. The front desk staff were rude, and try to pressure you into buying contacts from them. I am very well aware of prices of contacts online and that they are almost always cheaper to buy from Vision Direct. The girl at the counter pretty much tries scamming people by telling them that many of the online stores have fake contacts made in China. Lol. Yeah, right. Also was told that the price for my exam would be between $105-$180 over the phone and yet somehow I came out of there with a $240 bill.I would go somewhere else if I were you.

Ronnie Dumes went out her way to help my son to get his contacts after other techicians gave up. She has patience and determination and works very hard and my son was very comfortable with the steps shown by Ronnie. We are sure that Ronnie is an asset to Lenscrafters! We wish her all the best! Optometrist - Dr. Kruti Patel is the best!Front Desk - It depends....the office manager - Ronnie is always pleasant and informative.Waiting time - expect to sit in the waiting area for awhile because they only have two examining rooms. So if your appt is at 10 am...expect to be seen around 11 am to 11:30 am. Ive tried several times to do a walk-in appointment/consult as posted in their front desk....it never happens. They give you an appt a week later. They should just remove that sign Walk-Ins are Welcome because they never take walk-ins...ever!Follow-up - Very poor. You have to keep calling to find out if your contacts arrived.

I went here to get contacts for the first time. the techs were patient with me while i tried to get them in for the first time, and the doctor i saw was nice and approachable. they were able to give me an appointment fairly quickly, i believe i called one week prior to my appointment.i have an astigmatism in one eye, and while they were able to accommodate that in the eyewear prescription, they were unable/unwilling to prescribe contact lenses for astigmatism for me. so, my eyeglasses and my contacts were two different prescriptions, which means migraines (literally) and $100 thrown in the trash. i told the doctor directly about the problem, and his exact words were well see next year. if your prescription gets worse, maybe well prescribe contact lenses for astigmatism. so im supposed to wait a year for my vision to further decrease before you will give me the prescription that you tell me i need!? no thank you, im taking my business elsewhere.

If I could rate my experience with Dr. Kruti Patel lower than 1 star, I would give it negative stars. This location is in the Lenscrafters in the East Brunswick Mall. First, let me express that the woman who conducted all of my tests before I saw Dr. Kruti Patel was very nice and helpful--she mentioned that she was from the Freehold location though, not this location.However, Dr. Kruti Patel, on the other hand, had a very unfriendly and rushed demeanor from the start of my appointment with her. She was moving very quickly through the entire appointment. Typically, Im okay with quick doctor appointments, but she was moving so quickly between the lenses during my eye exam, and made me feel very rushed to pick one that worked best for me. She seemed very agitated when I asked her to go back to a lens to make sure it was better than another one. Also, she did not look at me once while I was explaining my eye history to her. After she gave me my lens prescription, I explained to her that I order my reading glasses online, since I find no reason to spend $400+ on glasses that I use only every now and then. I asked Dr. Kruti Patel if she could give me my pupillary distance measurement, because the website requires a lense prescription along with a pupilary distance measurement when your order the glasses. She refused to give me the measurement. In fact, she very rudely stated that she is not legally obligated to give me that information. Not only was that response rude, but also so unexpected from someone who is supposed to be professional and a doctor that helps patients who have questions and are in need of an experts help. I dont know if there is a law against an Optometrist measuring a patients pupillary distance and providing him/her with that information, or not, but her response could have been less crass. What I do know is that my insurance and I paid a lot of money for my eye exam, and for Dr. Kruti Patel to make me feel belittled, disrespected, and to not give me all of the information about MY eyes to obtain glasses that work best for me is definitely not okay.I dont know how the rest of the doctors are at this location, but I can tell you to not waste your time, money, or patience seeing Dr. Kruti Patel.

Contact Lens and Vision / Dr. Gelb was a wonderful experience. The team was very helpful, understanding and knowledgeable.I strongly recommend CL&V..Dr. Gelb is an outstanding Doctor and an outstanding Person. I wanted contacts for reading / distance and Dr. Gelb tried different contacts until we got it right..and its perfect !Thanks Again Dr. Gelb and your Wonderful Staff !

Not the best experience. The Indian technician was rude and curt as well as Dr. Wu. It appears they dont want to deal with people of certain races. Thats the last $600 they will make off of us. Going back to our old group even though theyre out of network
