First time here to get my nails done for my bridal shower and I’m in love! They listened to what I was looking for and delivered! Thank you so much!

I wanted to love this place so bad. After reading all of the positive reviews I decided to make an appointment for a dip powder manicure. I arrived on time for my appointment and was greeted and serviced right away. The place is really nice and gives you true “spa vibes”. However, there were hardly any colors to choose from for the dip powder, maybe only about 10 colors. The nail technician did a great job doing my nails, she took her time and was very gentle. The only issue I have is the pricing. $62.00 for a dip powder manicure and after tip brought the total to over $70. I’ve been to numerous salons and have never paid this much for a dip powder manicure with no design or anything, just a plain color. The manicure was very basic and the same that you’d get at any other salon for way cheaper. Literally nothing was different or special about it. It’s been less than a week and most of the nails have chipped already. You’d think for that price they’d last a month or more! All in all I had a good experience but probably won’t be returning simply because of pricing.

This was my first spa experience. The hot stone manicure and pedicure was so relaxing and the facial was so calming. The ladies who work here are so inviting and wonderful! I cannot believe I’ve been missing out on these types of services. Thank you for making my birthday gift a special one and going above and beyond!

Great service, extremely relaxing and real “spa” experience and ambiance. They offer massages and other traditional spa services. Loved everything about them, except for the price. But I guess you gotta pay for quality.

I have been going here for 5 years. This past year service has definitely declined and prices have sky rocketed. I paid over $100 for a gel manicure and pedicure and I have bumps in my nails, my cuticles were not cut, and they were filed as if I did them myself. I have tried time and time again to try and get the service I once recieved from this salon. I will not be returning. There was a no call no show, and because of this, I got pushed aside and recieved a terrible manicure. I paid too much and tipped too much to be treated in this way.

Pros: nice ambience, smell and spa like feel, good collection of nail polishCons: overpriced especially for basic procedures, unremarkable pedicure ( nothing noteworthy to mention) staff not the most communicative or friendliest.Verdict: unlikely to visit again since there are a few other spas nearby that offer the same services for lesser price.

I love Nirvana. You do need to call and plan your appointment ahead of time, do not plan to walk in last minute with no appointment.. however it is worth it. I have been getting my nails done for about 15 years and this spa definitely treats their clients more like a spa and less like a nail salon. Since finding them 3 years ago I have not gone anywhere else.

Clean salon. Technicians are talented and friendly. They made ( prior to pandemic) extra effort to pamper clients with lovely garnish of fresh fruit in their water, and other little touches.

A wonderful relaxing experience! Great products and great service! I will definitely be going back again. 💅

This is by far the best spa I have ever been to. Jesse was awesome with my nails. The price is right, that glass of water, the ambiance, the products...the whole thing. Down to earth. First class treatment. Felt like #1.

À truly spa-like environment as soon as you open the door and you inhale the relaxing scent. Don’t expect the odor of chemicals here!The pedicure is gentle, detailed and not rushed. The massage chairs are the highest quality that massage you from buttocks to neck. And they’ll offer you a hot wrap for your neck, too, if you desire.Definitely recommend them!!

I havent gotten my nails or toes done in months so I wanted to go to a nice place nearby. I called Saturday at 1pm and Mimi was able to get me an appointment for 3:15pm that same day! I also got a text confirmation after I made my appointment (which is a plus for this tech savvy lady).The location is definitely a diamond in the rough as its surrounded by empty store fronts, but once you enter the spa its like youre transported to a serene oasis. Beautifully decorated, the place softly whispers you will be SO comfortable here. They even have fantastic classical guitar music playing in the background.I was immediately greeted by the owner Mimi. I was offered a variety of beverages (I went with the water which was flavored with fresh lemon, cucumber, orange, and I think mint!). I was also offered a warm neck wrap which as so relaxing. The staff and customers were so friendly. Ive had so many awkward moments at salons previously and there were none to be had here!I felt so pampered and my nails came out AMAZING. I will 100% be returning and Im going to take advantage of their FULL spa options - facials, massages, body wraps, the works!

Jessica is an amazing technician, she always makes me feel like a million dollars! the spa itself is comfortable and relaxing atmosphere and everyone who works there is always courteous and ready to go above and beyond! I highly recommend a visit with her!

Nirvana is wonderful! It’s clean and relaxing. The technicians are a pleasure be with. I’ve been going there for many years and I’ve never had a problem with an appointment. They are very accommodating. The best part is the water- it’s frozen fruit and herbs arranged beautifully in a glass.I’ve had a bridal party there and the owner, Mimi, was more than accommodating to bring in food and champagne. We had such a lovely morning.

I found Nirvana by accident. I now know it was no accident. I would NEVER think of going anywhere else ever again. Mimi is the greatest makes sure her employees give the customers the treatment that they are looking for in a Day Spa. Relaxing,soothing and uplifting is the experience. I have been going there for over 6 years now faithfully every 2 weeks sometimes every week when I feel the need for extra pampering. I walked in the last 90 minutes of opening time Saturday and everyone was very friendly! No one made me feel rushed. I love the touch of water in a glass with fruit and cucumber vs just a bottle of water. Also a nice warm neck pillow! Great manicure and pedicure! I would definitely return. Thank you!

As a customer it is believed that giving great and fabulous customer service is supposed to be granted from any establishment, whether it’s in person or over the phone. My experience with this establishment was not the best via the owner. When a customer calls in for an appointment or question it is not right to have an attitude or talk in away that sounds combative, especially if that customer was calm and cool. It is not right to treat a customer or anyone for that matter as if they’re below ones standard. When you treat someone with respect and kindness (no matter how you feel) you get back kindness. I started going to Nirvana Nails and Day Spa last spring/summer after finding out about them online. I have gotten SO many compliments because of their awesome work. Not only are they phenomenal at what they do, the place is immaculate. I have never been to a nail salon that is cleaner or more organized than Nirvana. A few months ago, I also started getting facials. The facials are the most relaxing experiences of my life. I absolutely love this place. If youre anywhere in the area, please come check them out.

Awesome customer service! Very flexible. I was pretty indecisive, picky, and probably annoying the whole time, they were very nice and friendly. I was offered a beverage and a soothing wrap for my neck for no extra charge. (They really make you feel at home!) Its very different than the other spas Ive been to, very sanitary, totally relaxing atmosphere (no cell phones constantly going off and interrupting you. Also, beautiful crystal ball decorations for the lights! Mani pedi was the best in town and even lasted longer than usual. Recommend to friends and family.

I wanted to be able to write an honest review based on my total experience at Nirvana Nails and Day Spa so I waited until I have had mine second service to post this review. A facial is the best way to take care of skin. This is the second time I am committed to the skin program and I see Mimi is teaching me how to love my skin and treat it right. Now I am deciding to go Nirvana regularly for my deep cleansing facial and my acne almost completely diminished.When my dermatologist gave me green signal for facial, I knew only Nirvana can handle my skin. Mimi talked me through every step and asked questions to figure out what products or food maybe irritating my skin. The extractions were barely noticeable. I have sensitive skin and her hands were very gentle. Also, I bought wonderful Nirvana’s products and in a few days, my skin was smoother and is breathing again. The recovery was very fast in about 3 to 4 days. The scars are all gone and my face is like flawless now. My skin felt clean and healthy. The products are amazing.Besides being a boss, Mimi was so kind and stayed later for me. She seems sincere in caring for her clients. Don’t waste your money on expensive skin care. Just visit Nirvana to get your skin clear first. I think the regularity of treatment is key for reducing breakouts.I highly recommend giving Nirvana a try. Skip spending your money on average or less than average aestheticians. If you have trouble skin or just want to spoil yourself definitely make an appointment here. First time here. I got the classic pedicure, only because I wanted to try it first and see how I liked it before I indulged in a $60-80 treatment. I will def be back again and indulge for the better pedicure and possibly a massage. Very clean, Beautiful interior and the service was great. Everyone employed here was very social and nice!

I cant say enough good things about Nirvana. I have been getting my nails done for 10 years and they have NEVER looked this good.The spa is nice and clean. They give you a hot (or cold) neck wrap, fruit infused water, and a very relaxing atmosphere. Very atypical from the loud chatty salons I am used to, where techs and customers are shouting at each other from across the room. Staffs are professional and very pleasant to talk to. It is a relaxing experience all around.I highly recommend!

So let me start by saying WOW was I blown away with this place! By just walking in you are hit with instant relaxation! It was so beautiful and the staff was so incredibly welcoming. I was shown to my seat for my classic pedicure and they asked if I would like anything to drink. I asked for a water and they came back with a tall glass of fruit filled goodness! I felt like I was on an island! My classic pedicure lasted almost 1 hour it was so soothing. I couldnt believe how callused my feet were. I fell asleep through part of it because I was so relaxed. Much needed spa day for me. I will gladly be returning to this wonderful place. So happy I spontaneously decided on doing the! Totally recommend. Enjoy everyone!

I am so excited I found Nirvana! Meme was awesome and so was the rest of the staff there. I have been dealing with allergic reactions to the chemicals from gels. I had experienced the S&S powder while down South in Alabama &Tennessee. When I questioned the two facilities I frequented here in New Jersey they seemed uninterested in obtaining the organic S&S powder for me or their other clients. I believe this powder to be a healthy alternative to harsh chemicals that damage your skin and nails. I am looking forward to a long lasting relationship with Nirvana and can’t thank them enough for saving my nails!! Nirvana has an awesome staff. Looking forward to coming back!❤️🤗

The staff was friendly, when I called. I could understand you, over the phone. When I got there, you SMILED at me!!!! Right there I was happy. The spa is so beautiful. I felt peaceful and happy the ENTIRE time I was there.

Ive had nothing but wonderful experiences at this day spa. Im not typically one to go to salons to get my nails done, because I worry about cleanliness, but this place does a great job of sanitizing equipment and tools right after they use it on you. I feel comfortable knowing that they take precautions against spreading bacteria to guests. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I came here when I was offered a drink while I was getting a pedicure. It made my relaxing experience even better! Each time I have been here, I left with beautiful nails (which I give major props to my nail techs because I am a nail biter, so my nails are hard to work with!), and I felt super relaxed. I recommend this day spa to friends looking for a clean and affordable place to get pampered.

I went with my daughters before our vacation. We were treated like royalty from the minute we walked in the door. From cold drinks in the pedicure chair, the great chairs themselves, and amazing service provided to the manicure that was not only top notch and long lasting, but also helped my previously damaged nails grow back, I was super impressed. The staff was friendly and courteous. I knew I would want to visit again. Today, Im calling to make another appointment.EDIT: Apparently, that level of service is reserved for when you come with 3 people for full sets and spa pedicures. When its only you, and you just need a fl and a regular pedicure, I found them not so service oriented. Ive moved on.

I went here for a full body waxing. From the minute I walked in, I was offered a complimentary drink and a cold neck wrap while I waited. Even while awaiting my service I was already beginning to relax from my long day at work. I have pretty sensitive skin, so waxing is a bit of a monthly nightmare. However, the woman that waxed me was very calm and soothing. She maintained conversation with me to get my mind off the inevitable pain. For my face she even switched to a special type of wax that was gentler on my skin and gave me a short cold stone massage, a perfect ailment for the pain! The whole experience left me feeling refreshed and confident about my body. Recommended for anyone that just wants to relax and recharge. I definitely had a nirvana day!

I called several times trying to see if there was an opening for a pedicure, no answer. I was having an awful day and needed some time for myself. I decided to drive there anyway since I would arrive 2 hours before closing time, I was sure someone would be able to help me. When I arrived only one person was working, she told me she had no time for me or to pick up the phone when people call. I wouldnt go again.

I wont go anywhere else!Dont be deceived by the sparse outlet mall that Nirvana is in. Once you walk in its a true oasis. Everything is beautiful, with crystals, sparkly jewelry, the cute hats you see in my pic, lol, soothing smells, etc. Its always impeccably clean.Everyone gets spoiled with a fruity water and scented, hot neck wrap. Every single employee is sweet and helpful. And, you can easily book online.When getting extensions you get to be in a private room with soothing music and a warm blanket. The lash sealer helps them last so much longer. Eyebrow waxing is painless and you get treated with a cool stone massage on the area afterward which feels amazing.They really go above and beyond here. All the little details and finishing touches make this place worth coming to again and again!

Had a truly wonderful pedicure experience! This was my first time here and Nirvana Nails exceeded all of my expectations. Christy was phenomenal!! This was not simply a pedicure ... it was an experience. It began with a heated aromatherapy neck pillow and spa water. Christy gave me the most amazing massage with the pedicure :) The massage chairs were incredible and I even got to dry my nails while in the chair. I will definitely be coming back!!

Horrible place. Girl at front looks like shes 13 at best. Not friendly or welcoming at all. I was a walk in and they would not accomodate me nor did she even offer me a time to come back.

Went there based on Google reviews. According to the website they close at 7pm. It was pouring rain. Drove in front of the salon to make sure it was open and saw a asian/Indian woman sitting at the desk. Parked and grabbed my young child and walked over. The lady came over and closed the door and locked it. Turned her face away and walked back. Never turned to us. The Time was 6:17. We got wer for no reason. Never ever going there. Horrible

I came across the spa via Google, read the reviews and was sold! I immediately went to there website to make an appointment for a Spa Pedicure. The website allowed me to input all of my info, scheduled me for 5/22 @630pm. I drove 20 minutes in traffic after a long days work, again still do happy that this would be my first time at this lovely spa. I was greeted with an Hello. Then I was asked How Can I Help You. I informed the technician that I was there for my 630 appointment (it was exactly 6:22 when I arrived), to be responded with a head nod telling me No all of their technicians were booked. Mind you, there were only 2 ppl there being serviced and 3 technicians, one of which was in the back cleaning a spa chair, all chairs turned in an upward motion as if they were getting ready to close. Yes the salon hours listed States they CLOSE at 7, and I got there before my scheduled appointment time , all to be turned away with not so much as being asked if I wanted to reschedule! I am highly disappointed and feel that I was treated unfairly, need I NOT mention why 🤲🏾will never patronize this business again regardless of how nice and appealing it look !

Not just a salon- its an experience! The only place to do SNS which is like acrylics but without the smell or the lights and more natural looking. Love that you can actually make an appointment and that you can communicate with everyone there- they always aim to please. Great pedicures too!

So I tried it out again not because I wanted too but because the manager/owner reached out to me and told me how sorry she was for how my first time was, so at that point I wanted to go because it shows that she really cares about her customers so I get there 10 minutes early and I was greeted and they set up the chair and water for me they ended giving me a neck pillow that was hot. I was very relaxed at this point I had my feet in the water for about 10Minutes before the lady came to do my feet and let me tell you it was such a great pedicure the lady was super sweet I hate that I didn’t get to catch her name, the only thing that annoyed me a tad was she asked me if I wanted my toe nails cut or filed down and I told her I do not want them cut because I have been trying to grow them out for a while, she ended up cutting them but it’s ok because they still came out super cute. When she was taking all the dead skin off it wasn’t like other salons they do it for like a minute she literally took her time and that’s what I really liked that she took her time with my feet I told her that I felt like I had an ingrowing toenail and she ended up fixing it. The only thing that got me a little upset was when I walked In and recognized one of the other ladies who did my toes the last time and I waved at her and smiled but she gave me the cold shoulder but it’s ok because the lady I got was amazing and for that experience this time it is worth the price!

Only giving a 2 because the lady was extremely nice. But when i got outside and looked at my hands my nails look terribleeeeee. I had a gel manicure done and i have color and clear all over the front of my hands and they need another coat...my goodness thr low lighting had me thinkin i was satisfied but yikes!!! Again. Thr place was nice the staff was super nice but too expensive for a poor job..

Staff were really nice! I got SNS for my wedding and almost all of my cuticles were bleeding and scabbed how embarrassing! Also my pedicure took almost 3 hours because the girl kept knocking into my nails and had to start all over. I wouldn’t recommend this spa for nail treatments

Ive been coming here for almost 2 years and must say I cant see myself going to get my nails done by any other salon. The staff is always welcoming and they make you feel like family. I usually get the SNS with Gel polish and I must say the SNS is the BEST thing ever! Its light weight and it keeps my natural nails strong and healthy. Nirvana is truly a hidden gem in East Brunswick! BTW, no one does SNS like Nirvana.

Horrible customer service. I just walked in and said hello and I got stared at and ignored. The lady doing a pedicure looked up at me, went to the back then came back out and didn’t say a word. I stayed there and waited awkwardly until I realized I was being completely ignored and no one was going to welcome me. I walked out and took my money elsewhere. I will never return. I’m disgusted.

I went for Pedicure a few weeks ago and I am very happy with my service with Tahira. She is an incredibly talented nail tech. She has magic in her hands. My leg hurts because of my work and after getting service from Tahira, I feel like I am in heaven. I felt better after massage on my legs. As I am big fan of nail designs, and Tahira did a fabulous job on my nails as everybody loved it a lot. I highly recommend this place for everyone! Please visit and enjoy great service from Tahira.

Terrible service - this is the second time we had made 9am appointments and due to the one of the technicians being out we were told we had to come back at 6pm or the next day... mind you two other people walk in and they get taken care of, so I asked why and they said well they have appointments, to which i replied so do we so what is there issue ... well the technician you has is out - I didnt choose the technician you did so how is this fair.... this isnt the only time I saw this happen either I have been getting a service and saw other individuals go through the same scenario... its ridiculous and unprofessional

Best manicure and pedicure Ive had.Been looking for a salon that I was satisfied with. This was the place.

I came here for a regular gel manicure and instead Mimi, the owner, turned me onto SNS nails and it has changed my relationahip with my nails. My nails dont break anymore and I know that I can always come back to get them fixed up or redone. Also, they treat you better than just a paying costumer here. Thry bring you a nice beverage when you walk in and a hot neck wrap. I would recommend Nirvana Nails and Spa to anyone.
