I highly recommend The Chelsea at East Brunswick if you or a loved one needs an assisted living facility.The staff, from the first person I met to the Executive Director, has had one goal in mind - to make sure my loved one has the proper care she needs in a safe environment. Their preference is to allow the resident to live with as much independence and dignity as possible.My mom was initially assessed as needing limited care in the assisted living area. Within a month, it was quite evident that she needed more attention and was brought into the memory care unit where staff engage her by working on puzzles together, making jewelry, playing memory games like Complete the Cliché, and more.Periodically, they have extra fun events such as an ice cream social and a carnival where residents are given a piece of pie and can throw it at a designated staff member. They are always coming up with something new and fun.I viewed two other assisted living facilities in the area and the stand-out feature of The Chelsea was that they allowed me to visit every day whereas the other two still had COVID restrictions - allowing visits only twice a week. I couldnt imagine transferring my mom from her lifestyle of independent living to an assisted living facility without being able to visit her when I want to and to make sure that she is adjusting.I am very happy with my decision to move mom to The Chelsea and more importantly, mom is happy, too.

One of my church members is currently living here, and I can sense how at peace she is being under the tender care of the staff at The Chelsea. She has nothing but encouraging words for this place, and I am personally grateful for the welcoming atmosphere every time I come to visit.

My grandmother is here and she is so happy. The grounds are always clean and the staff is so helpful!
