I chose Ashby Park because I had a friend recommend it, and they were a pediatric dentist so I was hoping that they would be able to show my daughter how to brush properly, and take time to make her first visit something that would leave her looking forward to seeing the dentist. While the staff was friendly, and the hygienist and dentist were friendly, it honestly did not seem like a pediatric dentist experience. It actually reminded me of going to any other dentist office, not geared toward children .We will be finding somewhere else to go from now on. The office needs to work on being more centered toward young patients, and making their experiences more fun so that they Look forward to their next dental visit.

Several phone calls and messages just to get an appointment. Hygienist was great and has obviously worked with kids before. Dentist is a different story. A dentist needs to understand that kids can be overwhelmed and scared when going to the dentist. Less time should be spent on doing unneccessary procedures and more time on developing a relationship of trust with the child and parents. After not hearing back from Ashby for about 2 weeks I decided to try Indigo pediatric dental in Easley. Wow what a difference! Very professional and actually offered to only do the dental work that was needed. Taking a child to the dentist is no fun for anyone but Indigo makes it a pleasant experience. My suggestion is if you value your time and your childs happiness take them to Indigo in Easley. Me and my child left understanding what was needed and when it will be done. Hygienist at ashby was great but the dentist and front desk have some room for improvement.

My son is autistic and the nurses and dentist made him feel great they were very kind and gentle would recommend them to everyone

You cannot get in touch with anyone in this office. I have been calling for a month to try and get my children appointments. They don’t answer the phone nor do they email you back.

Let me say the hygienist and receptionist were amazing at the Easley office. The dentist Dr Bell, however was very rude and rough with my son. I had explained before the appointment that my son has had a bad experience with a previous office so i wanted to make sure they would be easy and understanding of the situation. It started off great and quickly went down hill. I will never recommend this office or be back.

Easley Branch. This office should be investigated for malpractice. Arrived this morning for an appointment that was confirmed by both text and phone. Was told the doctor was stuck on I-85 and running late. No problem. We have a special needs child who requires being strapped down before gas, due to her sensory issues. It is very traumatizing, but told us necessary for procedures. They take us back and after the initial shock of being strapped down, she became calm and was relaxed and watching the movie, laughing etc. Then they came back in and started unstrapping her and told me that the office manager said my child was too upset for the procedure. I was extremely confused because she was calm after a minute or so. They kept saying you have to talk to the office manager. When we get to the desk the lady tells me a different story, now it’s that they stopped because my wife had previously complained about Dr. Bell, and requested for our daughter to not be seen at the Easley office.1. My wife was with us!! ??? 2. Appointments confirmed. 3. My Daughter is already strapped to a chair and been gassed! So my child just endured that trauma for no reason, they changed their minds, MID PROCEDURE!! Because the doctor was stuck in traffic? Because my now calm child was too upset? or because my wife , who was with us, requested she not be seen? Which is it? Are you kidding me!! I couldn’t believe what was actually happening before my eyes. How can you do that to a child. What kind of people are you? It was so traumatizing to get her calm and ready. Why not continue at that point? Something is very off with this office. A lot of good reviews. Maybe they had a bad day, but what they did to our family should be illegal. Please do not contact me or follow up. This review is not for you to resolve. This is so the public is at least aware of the potential for something like this happening to their family.

Today, we had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Bell. She was very thorough and educated me on the proper way to care for my children’s teeth. Each one has different challenges and she addressed them directly for me. We are happy to have her in Easley!

This dental office was great. From the second we entered the door, we were greeted with friendly and efficient staff. Everyone was super kid friendly and patient. The dentist was amazing. We love this place!

My kids always have a positive experience. They actually enjoy going to the dentist. Ive been taking them for years and feel comfortable with them as a parent. The staff dont treat my children as a nuisance. The staff, dental assistants, and dentist always speak directly with my children about their dental hygiene. I would always recommend them to anyone with children.

Amanda, one of the dental technicians is amazing. I have a grandchild that is extremely fearful of dental procedures. Amandas compassion ,knowledge of children, and the procedures were outstanding. I would definitely refer friends to her.

This was our first visit to Ashby Park Pediatric Dentistry in Easley. I have 2 girls-3 and 6. My 6 YO has a lot of anxiety and sensory hypersensitivity from previous dental procedures, and dental visits are always difficult. My 3 YO is a rockstar haha. That being said, my approach with my older daughter is tough love; I provide reassurance and compromise when possible, but she still needs to get through it and have her teeth cleaned. I appreciated the dialogue the dental hygienist had with me to see what I was comfortable with going forward. I thought Dr. Bell did a good job of staying calm and being direct but caring with my daughter. Next time I will have a better plan for things to help her sensory wise. One suggestion I have is to include a link to new patient paperwork in texts reminders to offer the option of doing it ahead of time, or even electronically if possible. OveralI I would recommend Ashby Park and Dr. Bell because of our experience.

Ashby Park (Easley) is the absolute best pediatric dentist! Dr Matt & his crew are so awesome. My 5 year old used to be terrified of the dentist but after switching to Ashby and 2 appointments with Dr Matt, she loves going & gives him big bear hugs!! He is very patient, great with kids, and super nice. I highly recommend Ashby Park.

My daughter was scared as she had bad tooth pain, as soon as we stepped in the back though the staff and especially the doctor had made her feel extremely comfortable and had her smiling. Great establishment with excellent staff and personalities who truly want the best for your kids.

Well qualified and friendly staff, and most importantly, very good with kids. Modern facilities, with a bright and rustic tree theme. The play area is creative, and safe. (They even sanded the edges off of the wooden blocks.) They are also located very conveniently next to the pediatric doctor that we use, and fairly close to where I live. I highly recommend this place for anyone who has children with teeth.

Ashby Park Pediatric Dentistry was absolutely amazing! They are quick, efficient, and direct with their treatment plans. They were so gentle and accommodating with my mildly-uncooperative 2 year old, and did everything to cater to her. All of my questions were answered and all treatment options were laid out before we left. I was incredibly impressed with our visit from start to finish. I am so happy to have them as my babys first dentist!

Awesome staff, they made a scared six year old feel like a superhero! Dr. And his staff are awesome. Dr. Pate explains the anesthesia process and make you feel at ease.

They are hands down the best Pediatric dentist around ! We have never had a bad experience , as the staff go above and beyond to not make it a bad experience for a child ! This place was only one of a few orthodontist that took my insurance. I can say that I’m extremely satisfied the dr and her assistant were so kind. They explained what options I had for treatment and explained the procedure. They go out of there way to make you feel welcome, so glad we found them

I’ve only been one time so I’m not going to give it 5 stars but they was very understanding with my wiggly one year old when I got his teeth cleaned and I was told to go there by a few people. So far my experience had been good.

Everyone was very understanding and answered all my daughters questions. They made sure I understood how everything was suppose to work for her next appt and everyone is very friendly.

Before I got my braces I did my research on pricing and Facilities and after doing my Consultation with Ashby park Orthodontist I knew I would love it there the staff is so nice and makes you feel comfortable during your visit, the prices are very reasonableand Dr. Melissa is great at her job and very knowledgeable as she always explains everything that she does before doing it and how it will benefit you to getting that great smile I definitely would recommend getting your braces done here!!

All 4 of my children ranging in age from 2 to 13 go.to the Easley office and absolutely love Dr. Matt and all the ladies there. They make them feEl so comfortable and relaxed

The female dentist here actually interchanges somehow between an orthodontist and a dentist. Where do I begin with the malpractice that could have taken place with my child if I would have agreed! First off, It took ten visits to accomplish ONE task. Clearly they were looking to make as much money as possible. My child needed treatment and each treatment was postponed at every visit to make another visit. It just kept snowballing until my child was in so much pain I had to seek care elsewhere! Glad I did because it made such a huge difference. She got treatment right away and felt much better. I was pressured into doing hospital sedation which was not a good option for us and then they wanted to do in office sedation for my 18month Old who was no where near the weight required by South Carolina. I am not pleased with this place and I think ppl who don’t know about this may be pressured into receiving bad treatment that could result in learning disabilities or death. When I went to the other dentist, I simply held my daughter while she received treatment. This office only offers being strapped down to a board like a straight jacket or either being sedated by IV. This is traumatic and dangerous. Plus they over charge for their treatments such as SDF. They charge 150 per tooth, verses 75 at current dentist. Something is not right here.

Always a great experience when we are there.

Liam was scared and has a stuffy nose. When the assistant tried to take X-rays he panicked. His next experience was having his head laying lower than his body and he went into a full panic. I felt he could have been eased into the introduction and talked to about what he would experience. After he is scared is too late to win him over. We will give this practice one more try in a few weeks.
