Please be aware! This place is unorganized and they have terrible billing practices. When tried to remedy, I was told that I was not listening and that this is my error as a patient.I went there last fall for a standard eye exam. When I walked in they said, you never called us back only to find out that they had the wrong phone number and my name was misspelled. They could not find my billing information and I told them I was in network based on my UHC portal that showed they were in network. When they urged me to move forward with the exam, I explained I was nervous about billing. They responded with we do it all of the time. We can medical bill. After the exam, they confirmed I did not have coverage and again said they would get it billed.Eight months later, I get an email saying I will be going to collections if I dont pay my bill. Ive received nothing but a bill that said patient deductible and I dont have a deductible. The didnt even process it correctly. Ive asked for records of the notices theyve sent me and have not received anything...still!They claim they are great with service but this is terrible service. It is the classic balance bill situation. Please do your due diligence on this practice before they try to pull on over on you.

From the time I first walked in until I checked out, the staff was friendly, helpful, and the office clean. They didn’t push me to buy more than I wanted and made it a quick and enjoyable experience.

Eye Care Management saved me... Visiting on a trip and forgot my contacts! They verified my prescription and kindly gave me free samples to get me by to make it home. Phew! Had called all around town and nowhere else could help. Thank you so much!

Called a few offices in Durango for an eye exam since I’m new to the area and this office is the only one that answered my calls. Besides that, going into my actual appointment they were all super friendly and sweet. The Dr is very mice and welcoming, plus it was a quick exam and didn’t wait long. The office itself is beautifully decorated/designed. Very cool place with chill atmosphere, and am planning on coming back again for my next needed eye exam.

Wow! The service here was truly awesome. I feel that I was receiving the best care a customer could hope for. They really know their products when trying to pick frame shapes, lenses, and tints for your glasses and sunglasses. I think this is the happiest I’ve been with my choices in twenty years. Will come back again. Worth the drive in from our smaller town.

Incompetent and rude receptionist. I didn’t get a chance to see a doctor because they cancelled my appointment without notifying me, even though they had my phone number and I verified no message was left. That might be understandable but the first time I showed up the receptionist rudely told me they had no record of me and I was in the wrong place I finally figured out after visiting several local eye doctors that it was the right location.When I returned, she finally bothered to look up my appointment and blame the problem on me. She made no effort to correct the situation or offer another appointment time.I understand that receptionists don’t examine your eyes but I base the overall confidence of a doctor on how well they manage their office. Using this criteria I would never let them near my eyes.

My wait was short when arriving to my appointment a few minutes before. Receptionist is courteous and the doctor is very personable. I am very pleased to have Eye Care Management service my eyes for good and compassionate care.

Really negative experience here. Had trouble finding the office and was 5 minutes late to my appointment. Wasn’t greeted initially and overheard the receptionist being super rude to someone on the phone. I was told my appointment was being pushed back for my tardiness and it was my fault for not knowing where the office was. Really disappointing experience, hopefully in the future they treat others with more kindness and consideration.Also, after reading the owners responses its pretty obvious where the negative attitude comes from! Hope they realize these reviews are for customers, not for owners to defend poor business quality.

I have never in my life been charged such outrageous prices as this company. I sent my son there who is attending college for a standard annual eye exam. I am appalled at the rates they billed to the insurance and then charged me on top of that. I’ve been paying for eye exams annually for myself and 4 kids for 40+ years and never had to pay such inflated and ridiculous prices. Unbelievable!
