Love this place and most of the staff. Great selection and they usually have A+ customer service. Unfortunately, one of their new hires doesnt really live up to the ethos of the company and I find myself avoiding this place as of late. This guy Adam has close to no knowledge of the product and doesnt seem suitable for directly dealing with customers. Last time I was there he raised his voice at me for some reason and made me and another customer very uncomfortable. I understand qualified new hires are hard to come by post-covid, but please be mindful of the environment you are cultivating at the store.

Best cannabis in the area! They have a large selection of amazing products. That and the staff really know how to treat and serve the customers.

Go somewhere else. They sold me $100 worth of defective product., warped pen, pre rolls that were damaged and wouldn’t burn properly., this has never happened to me anywhere., I went back the following morning to exchange or return and the ‘manager’ lady started treating me like a p.o.s., asked zero questions, offered zero apology, then barked her no return policy to me while saying I could leave without my money and without my defective product as she swiped it away. The whole situation was ugly and digressed so rapidly it was sad. I left with them keeping my money and the defective product. Good job guys., way to keep up with the spirit of the shop you are attempting to run. Just awful.

Worst experience Ive ever had. Guy at the window was so rude. Made me uncomfortable. He was breathing heavy and raising his voice at me. Ive been here previously, and they didnt seem to know much about the products they were selling or much about cannabis in general. I definitely will not be returning. Ive never been treated this way at any other dispensary. Thank goodness theres more than just this one in the area.

I was just at this location 2 weeks ago, there was a girl and guy working behind the counter, They made me feel welcome, however, last night was a totally different vibe. There were 2 guys this time, as soon as we walked in it seemed as if they were agitated by something, both scowling at me and demanding I wait at the door even tho I know the drill. Customer service was awful, bring the girl back. Shes more welcoming than both of you guys put together. I wont be returning.

Decent enough place. No signage. Only bought a cartridge. Didnt get the prices on menu where different than charged. My fault I didnt ask why.Honestly though I would choose a different place next time. Vibe was off here.

Terrible experience for medicine not even grown in house, no adherence to medical patients, and when asked why,nothing but attitude is recieved. Being in the field my self I find this absurd,but as you enter some of these mountain towns the customers service aspect depletes. Just one thing, to educate, I understand your plant count may have been reduced due to new laws, but all of us ,my buisness included have had to adhere to those laws. Many options remain, what about El Sueno, regardless the experience of customers must be respected to a point. For a manager to speak and be so inexperienced is quite amazing, but again the lack of education and experience in some towns such as Durango is apparent.One big reason medical remains for some of us, is so we can become practitioners of our own medicine, instead of paying the absurd tax and price you try to justify. Advice stay away from franchises like this in Colorado, or any city you visit, the Mom and Pop shops still exist, have better product(like Viola, not Seed and Smith),for a better price, and at the end of the day the family value still exists instead of being another gas station customer.

Good variety of products and friendly and helpful staff. I wish they would offer a military discount like every other dispensary in Durango. Maybe one day?! Also you cant buy a single gram so if you want to try a strain you better hope its in a pre roll.

Legit business! Even their name is clever. Quick, no hassle, friendly, and helpful people. Looks like a castle from the outside and they even have proper parking. Daily deals were presented casually and staff is very informative. They prefer cash (ATM is inside the waiting area), but they will take cards with no chip, for a $3.25 fee. Wish we wouldve gone here first.

The “deals” were subpar considering it was 37 an 1/8th for >15% thc on majority of “premium” bud. Male bud tender glossed over the deals rapidly and was rude when asked for clarification. Wouldnt trust old reviews

Its a decent dispensary. Really pretty inside but it feels cramped, like if there were more than two customers inside at once Id feel like someone was inside my bubble. Check out the mantle on the fireplace (look behind the counter) if you ever drop in, its worth a stop just to see the pretty stonework. If Im on the north side of town Id stop in again.
