I get my hair cut and colored by Lindsey, I have for many years. She always does an amazing job and is so fun/easy to talk to!! The salon itself is also nice, clean and has a very welcoming environment. The staff are friendly, trendy and upbeat. I truly enjoy getting my hair and brows done at JCP salon.

I went in to get foils and when I left my hair was yellow/blonde...my entire head! no highlights or foils. It was awful 😣 the stylist also missed spots with the bleach. I looked ridiculous. I have multiple photos but I’m unable to upload them

The lady who did my hair was late to the appointment, supposed to start at noon and didn’t show up until fifteen minutes after. She did not touch my hair until after 1:00. Took that entire amount of time just to mix my color and lightener. Which she did not do herself, she had another lady doing it, who didn’t understand what I wanted. She burnt my scalp with the water for rinsing, burnt my scalp with the heater to speed up the lightening, and melted my hair. They ‘made it right’ by not making me pay for the ‘service’, but who can put a price on their HAIR?! The lady with dread locks and another gal sat around and gossiped about someone’s drug charges behind me. Then when the manager was in sight she told the girls she was gossiping with to scatter, assuming so they didn’t get in trouble. The manager was trying to make it sound like my fault that that happened to my hair, but I had extremely healthy hair prior to. Medium brown, no box dye, and many inches of virgin growth. There is no way around it, the stylist had no idea what she was doing and extremely over processed me. If you need your hair done, I wouldn’t see the lady with fire truck red hair past her shoulders.

I took my daughter to this salon because I used to go here all the time when I was in college and theyre generally cordial and easy to get into on the same day. My daughter is 4 and had her heart set on a pixie cut. We scrolled through a ton of photos the night before on google of cuts with different lengths and she kept insisting on the short pixie cuts. When I brought her to her appointment the stylist was shocked at her choice and kept asking her if she was sure, holding her hair behind her head to make sure she was going to like having it all gone and basically wore her down to the point where she almost started crying and didnt want to get her hair done anymore. She ended up staying and getting a chin-length cut that looked very cute but afterward she mentioned she did hope to go shorter. The hairstylist afterward said see? Isnt that much better than what you came for? and went around to other stylists loudly laughing at the idea that my daughter wanted her hair so short and how she was glad she convinced her otherwise.If a kid wants a short haircut, get over your own gender BS and let them do what they want. Not only that, but dont undermine the kids parents in front of them after they said we already discussed this for hours and these were the pictures she chose. And then mock the parents and child to other staff where you can be heard. It was just a very rude experience and I dont think I will be back.

Friendly staff and I can typically get a same day appointment. Hair cut always turns out how I want it.

I stood at the counter for 15 minutes without anyone attending me. Someone finally came to the counter just after 6pm. Sorry, we are only finishing up with those all ready here.

I came in here the other day to ask about a color I wanted and not only did they help me but they took me back into the salon to talk to other ladies to get my questions answered and they helped me so much. The sweetest people ever!! They went above and beyond to help

I brought my daughter in for a super short cut with a hard part. She has a lot of cowlicks and stylists are usually hesitant to cut so short for a young girl for some reason. They did not hesitate at all, which was appreciated, and took a lot of extra care to make the cowlicks blend with the style she wanted. They also offer free neck trims, which is nice, since she likes to let the top grow out for a while to play with color. Walk ins are welcome and they are open until 6 on Sunday instead of 3 or 4... in Duluth... rare for a salon around here, lol! (We do miss seeing Helen Millen here though. Love ya Helen!)

My wife set up an appointment at 930 to be seen by this organization. They instead refused to service her due to the fact that the store did not open up until 10am. We traveled a half hour to attend this appointment. They offered an alternate appointment hours later. They lost two clients today.

I love going to this salon. Everyone is so friendly and my stylist Alexis does a great job!

I love my stylist. She’s the bee’s knees, but the room is a bit cramped.

Cant even begin to explain my anger with this place. Just do not go here!
