I havent even been to this office yet and already theyve left a bad taste in my mouth. First of all the girl who took my call sounded very unpleasant/unfriendly on the phone. She took my personal information but never asked what I needed to be seen for. I asked for a dermatologist. She booked me with PA and I didnt notice until I registered on Breeze. Ive been calling this location (dublin) every since trying to get ahold of them but no one answers the phone. I tried calling at different times throughout the day and that didnt work. I left a voicemail and no called me back . Its been 2 days. Its currently Friday evening so obviously I have to wait until next week to contact them again but by then itll be to late because my appointment is Tuesday, so at this point Im just going to take my business elsewhere because between the rude staff and It being impossible to get ahold of them Im truly done

If you want to feel like an honored guest at your dermatologist, look no further. This, by far, is the most welcoming and professional practice I have encountered in my 70+ years on this planet. The moment you walk in the door you are warmly greeted, taken to the examination area promptly, addressed politely, and treated with respect and courtesy. History, examination, treatment options, and follow-ups are done in a most exemplary manner. It is difficulty to describe this practice without using a plethora of superlatives. I intend to be a patient of theirs for the rest of my life!

The staff was friendly and informative. They took care of me quick and painlessly. If the costs werent so astronomically high, there are a few procedures I would definitely sign up for.

Don’t waste your time and money. After spending money on treatment and telling us that we can return if did not work We have been told our problem is genetic. We tried to return the treatment as we have been told they told us to call the manager. We called and the same answer we can’t return it even though we call them 10 days before our appointment and explained that the treatment is not working they recommend that we keep using it. Waste People time and money is really good way to keep customers.

I’ve got worse after treatment of Dr Scandamis and his steroid ointments. The ointment helped and my puffiness had gone, but then it recurred back and back!And after the first time of my treatment, when I got better, Dr Scandamis didn’t want to look at it, he didn’t want to do any lab tests, he just recommended to use it more. But my skin became sick of using the steroid ointment. And now, I don’t really know how to treat my skin atrophy.Please avoid this doctor!

Rude staff. Requirement for credit card on file is not specified prior to the appointment (which they probably cant even protect anyway), I was denied service for refusing to provide this, wasnt even asked if I would be willing to pay in advance. All this with a top medical insurance plan. Total waste of time. Avoid.10/06/20 - In response to your reply, no, Im not going to contact you - rudeness is not justifiable when you are a service provider that relies on people coming to you. And, no, you did not offer the prepay option, you simply stated that if I did not provide a credit card you would not see me, and no, the paperwork and your website do not state this silly requirement.

The staff is the best. First class all the way. This is the best dermatologist period. To hear these negative posts just makes me shake my head

I had the worst experience in my life , Waist of time , money, and energy and I’m a new mom really needed to be taken care of my skin to feel Good instead ended up with a very bad skin rash bcuz of the product they Sold me Which was very expensive and they did not return , They don’t Care About costumers they only want to sell Products

I do not recommend Dr Scandamis because he always tries to escape from the patient ASAP, doesn’t listen the patient at all, prescribes steroids for every illness. He doesn’t care about patient condition at all! And the most frustrating thing that you get an appointment in the middle of the day (when I or my husband have to work), then you have to wait this doctor about 30 minutes and you get only 5 minutes of doctor’s attention because he has other patients. I and my husband were very disappointed in this doctor.

Up to date technology and procedures that take care of those issues we all deal with. Great staff & DR George is easy to talk too. He takes the time to listen to your concerns. You wont be disappointed.

My visit was pleasant enough. I went in to have two moles removed for cosmetic reasons since my wedding was three months away. I followed the follow up care to a T and I ended up with horrible scars on my body. The one on my chest is bright red and almost looked like it was bleeding 3 months later at my wedding. The one on my back turned a dark brown and for some reason has a scar circle actually around it. I was in complete tears because these show up in all my wedding photos. I called their office and their explanation was basically that it was my bodys fault that I dont heal well. Ive spoken with other doctors and people who have had moles removed, and none of them experienced this. In fact, they were horrified at the results and are now scared to get another one done. They said I could pay them another $150-$200 for a follow up appointment, followed by saying there isnt really much than can do. So, they scarred my body, I paid over $500 for it, and now they want more money just to tell me Oh, well. You are stuck with it. Just beware, because I dont want anyone to have what happened to me happen to them. I try not to wear anything too low cut or tank tops and less than short sleeve dresses because of this. I would give a 0 star rating if I could. They scarred me for life.

Very rushed exam, doctor doesn’t care at all. Didn’t explain cause or effect. Poor customer service. Completely non caring attitude. Just wants to get patients in and out. Disappointed

Universal Dermatology Lewis Center office was an amazing experience. Everyone was really friendly and accommodating. It was quick and easy to get an appointment even as a new patient. My wait time was under 5 minutes. I really appreciated the level of care from all the providers at the office

Great place

New to the area and needed another treatment. After researching dermatologist with laser services in the Columbus area I made appt with Universal Dermatology. I got in quickly and the staff was friendly and professional. I was pleasantly surprised on how much extra care I received here as opposed to my last place. I was so pleased that I scheduled another two sessions.

Terrible service. I scheduled an appointment way earlier than I get my day started specifically asking for Dublin because Lewis Center is an hour away. I wake up ridiculously early to make the 30 minute drive only to find out they are closed. After 20 minutes of calls and emails while waiting outside I receive a call back telling me they scheduled me at Lewis Center and Dublin is closed. Horrible first experience and waste of my time. I will not return

Most caring and knowledgeable dermatologist that I have went to. They followed up with me quickly on my biopsy and would recommend them to anybody on a scale from 1 to 10 would give them a 10 plus

Such a friendly and warm staff- front desk, nurse, and Dr. Skanadmis. It did not take long to get an appointment and when I was there the appointment was quick, but thorough. Dr. S addressed all my issues and put me at ease about the problems I did have. I am so happy to have found this office and will definitely refer family and friends!

I was visited due to my doctor recommending I have a blister looking cyst by my eye. I was in the waiting room longer than the room. The doctor spent maybe 5mins with me. Took one look at the cyst and told me I was better off to leave it be. Then told me I should come back to have a full body check. I gave low stars because I feel I could have done both things in this appointment and not need to come back. Im sure Ill pay way more then 5mins of his time is worth.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They don’t try to just sell procedures and products unnecessarily. It’s easy to get an appointment with a Dr or aesthetician.

From the moment I walked into the office everyone greeted me with a smile. The front desk lady was super nice and professional, the assistant that took me to the room was super friendly, and the Nurse Practitioner was knowledgeable, friendly, and personable.

First off Ive had a great experience with the office, doctors and staff. I was given a great deal on surgery costs and visits for my basal cell carcinoma... However after 5 months of being charged monthly the payments stopped out of nowhere. Then 2 months later I receive a paper saying that after 90 days I would be turned into collections if I didnt pay my last 2 remaining payments. I received 0 calls or messages warning me that I had remaining balances due! I confronted the Universal dermatology in Mount Vernon where they were sympathetic to the situation and explained that it was possible that when they recently switched systems that my credit card info did not transfer properly therefore their system saying that my card was declined would make sense. The staff couldnt give me all the info I needed which is totally understandable. So they gave me their practice managers number Sarah Pione to call and figure out what went wrong and why I was never informed of the missed payments. I went to my bank to have statements printed off to prove that I had the money at the time that I was set up to be charged which was the 15th of every month. When speaking with Sarah Pione (over the phone) I was in person at the Mount Vernon Universal dermatology with my statements in hand to clearly prove that I was never charged when I should have been and if I had been charged at the time I would have had the money in full! I am in no way trying to avoid paying these people. Again while on the phone with her in front of the whole office on speaker phone, I only wanted to know what went wrong with the transaction. My bank statement was faxed to her just before and she said I dont need to see this information, you missed your payment and have to pay it. I asked why no one called me to inform me that my card was declined and she said We dont babysit all of our payers. My bank statement would have shown that a charge was attempted which it was NOT for the month of October(when they stopped charging for some reason). She tried telling my that my bank statement could be incorrect... While talking on the phone it got a little heated between the both of us. She was interrupting me, raising her voice, mocked me after I was said the whole situation was negligence. This is someone thats supposed to help me and I should look to for support. She told me she has no clue what happened on their end and that it possibly was a glitch and thats why they stopped the reoccurring charges. She said we will never know what happened you gotta pay it. I raised my voice at some point towards the end and she threatened to call the Mount Vernon police to come escort me! I would never put this much energy into something unless I knew something was wrong. I would never hurt or endanger anyone at that office over something like this. On top of all this Im almost positive that my skin cancer is back and I cant receive treatment from them for the fact that I owe that money. Nothing got fixed and Im terrified to go back after I pay them off. Sarah Pione later called to apologize and try to make things right but it was very back handed and like she was doing it to just save face. All of this is upsetting because I love the staff and doctors but dont want to go back for the fact that they could possibly mess up the payment process again. After all this, I would still say the Mount Vernon Universal dermatology was fantastic to go through and I appreciate them so much for helping me but you would be rolling the dice in terms of their financial advisory.

We were running late for our appointment. They worked us in with minimal wait. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Certainly was a good experience.

The second I walked into the office, the smell of cigarettes and mashed potatoes hit me. The girl behind the counter talked so fast, I thought she was trying to break a world record. She rapid-fire shamed me twice in 10 seconds for being 11 minutes late because I got lost. That she wasnt even sure if they could see me, but here - fill out this paperwork and hand over your ID, insurance card, and credit card. After hearing one of the girls swearing like a sailor and cackling out a gross smokers cough/laugh, I said no thanks and left without being seen.

Everyone at Universal Dermatology is very professional and real-world. I was referred by a friend, to Dr. Skandamis for a tattoo removal. I was excited, but nervous about the pain of tattoo removal. When I showed up for my first appointment, every step of the removal and healing process was clearly explained to me. So were the expectations of how many sessions it might take for complete removal. Im very happy with the professional service I received from Dr. Skandamis and his staff.

Had two biopsies. Its been almost four weeks and I still havent heard back from anyone. Ive left numerous messages about these potentially cancerous lesions that still havent healed. If I die from skin cancer, Im suing.
