We were referred to Haring because my 8yo son was scared of the dentist. We just had our first visit at Haring and are so impressed with them! They were super cool with our son and so understanding of his fear! My son actually had a great time and I left wondering if they would accept adults : ). Definitely recommend them!!!!!!

Dr Haring and his staff have always been amazing with my children. He is quick and efficient and that has always helped when they were little. Great coordination between our Orthodontist as well. Haring Pediatric Dental has always been great. From comforting a 4yo who needed lots of cavities to education my now teenager on oral health. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are accommodating when scheduling appointments. Also, their waiting area has plenty to keep kids of all ages entertained during the short wait! I would recommend their practice to anyone!

Dr. Haring is amazing. Our 3 year old son has a hard time sitting still and also with his teeth cleaning we were concerned on how well he would do. The office got us checked in quickly and they have the process done to a science. Dr. Bob was kind and attentive as well as his staff.

Im am very pleases with the service my family receives at Haring Pediatric! It was the best decision I could have made switching to this practice. I have mixed aged children (6, 8,and 14) and theyve all had great experiences. My 2 youngest are no longer afraid to go to the dentist and that makes it all the better. This place is amazing. my 4 year old was hooked the moment we walked in and saw the fish tank, the pirate ship playground room, and video learning games. Thats before you even get to the amazing and fun staff who make it fun for the kids, forgetting that they are there for a dental cleaning. My daughter was laughing through the cleaning and having a ball. Dr Bob came in and was the perfect amount of optimistic, funny, and informative to both me as a parent and my daughter in a way that she understood and learned. So far I cant imagine taking my daughter anywhere else.

My son loves this place! Hes 4 years old and he is autistic. He had a meltdown on the way back to the room for his cleaning and I was impressed and relieved that they were able to redirect him and help settle him down. So grateful for a place that truly cares for their patients. The dentist was also very kind and caring.

I went to Dr. Joel to have my son’s lip and tongue tie removed when he was two weeks old. This was after my pediatrician telling me the ties were not bad and that I needed to learn to nurse him with the ties. I’m so glad that I did my research and drove an hour to have Dr. Joel remove the ties. His lip was a level 3 and his tongue was a level 4. My son is eating so much better and is a happier baby since I’ve had the ties removed. Thank you Dr. Joel!

Everyone was fantastic especially Lindsay and Dr. Haring. There were zero tears shed for my nervous girl and they were on time and super fast.

Everything was great and is always good. Just one think to mention from the visit today. Receptionist had her mask barely over her mouth and kept putting her hand in the front of her face while speaking to patients to “cover” that. I respect the business decision to require masks, but if the person who greats you does not follow the rules it looks really bad. And customers notice staff like that.

All 3 of my children went and saw Darlene yesterday, and she is absolutely amazing. From my 13 and 15 year olds, there was kindness, empathy (especially to my son who has to get braces), and constant reassurance. To my 3 year old, it was like watching magic happen. Darlene was able to calm my daughter, her her talking (which never happens), and was able to completely clean her teeth. I will always use Darlene, for her love for her patients and what she does is evident!

As always a courteous and very friendly staff. The docs are great with my ASD son. In and out to my sons dismay as he prefers to wait for his appointment so that he can enjoy the waiting area.

My son is now 6, but I believe we started going to Dr. Joel when he was 4. My kid has had a lot of teeth issues and our first visit was for an abscess. We’ve had some tough visits. Dr Joel is so great with kids and always remembers what we have going on in life. He and the staff make these tough visits as amazing as possible. He always explains what he is going to do beforehand, and what to expect during and after. I am so happy to have found them!

I showed up on the wrong day for my son’s appointment, but the staff was very accommodating. They rearranged schedules to make sure my son was seen that day since our commute to the clinic was approximately 2 hrs from our home. The staff was very friendly.

We are so happy to have doctor Robert Haring as our daughters dentist.For the past two years he did great job with our 8 years old daughter.He build such a great relationship with her that she is now not worried and scared to go to dentist considering she had lots of problems and procedures done like extraction,fillings,crowns and spacers.At two occasions we had to call office after hours and we got help both times where one time doctor waited after work hours to work on tooth that our daughter chipped when she fell down.We are very happy to have Haring Pediatric Dental as our children dentist.Highly recommend.

We arrived at 0802 am and were out by 0823 am. We enjoyed seeing Lindsey and my daughter was seen by Dr. Joel.We were very pleased with the service and the staff were very helpful with the scheduling of the next appointment.

We do not recommend this office. We took our three children here. Upon arriving, the front desk positioned that the insurance was in network, meaning our costs would be covered after the copay.After service, they indicated we were not covered. Charges totaled over $500. Months passed without them sending us a bill. Suddenly, they called us and demanded full payment.When attempting to resolve this multiple times both in person and over the phone, the office was completely inflexible and refused to accept any of the financial responsibility for improperly advising us.We ultimately had no choice but to pay them the full amount because they were threatening to turn us over to debt collection.Even if they took our insurance we would not return.(Should the office respond to this, they will likely note that our insurance was misidentified when we scheduled the appointment. That is true. However, we updated the office as to our insurance upon arrival.)

Dr Joel and staff where awesome with my son. He goes to boarding school so he is not in town much. Got his teeth cleaned on Wednesday and Dr. Joel found 4 cavities. He also needed a retainer because his teeth are starting to move. The staff rearranged their schedule and spoke to the lab that will be making the retainer and will get everything done before my son leaves for school on 9/1. Thank you for all your hard work. I started bringing my 4 year old here last year and my 2.5 year old will be coming for her first visit in 6 months. We chose this practice based on online reviews and haven’t regretted it once. We love the practice. Lindsey is our hygienist and always makes my son feel so at ease. The dentists are fun and engaging as well. My son will need a lip tie procedure in the near future and I’m confident that it will go well here.

Dr. Haring put my son and myself at ease and is very personable. My 7-year old son has Down Syndrome and is autistic and I was surprised that he was as relaxed as he was. Great first visit!

We had an excellent experience at Haring Pediatric dental from making our initial appointment all the way through booking our next visit on the way out! We are so glad to be under their care and I cant recommend them enough!

Very kid oriented, great experience

(Per one of my kiddos) I have been coming to Haring Pediatric Dental for 10 years. I get great care from the hygienists and dentists. I always get a new toothbrush and travel toothpaste. There are some cool games to keep me occupied for the rare wait. Some day they will kick me out based on my age- but until then, I will continue to enjoy my twice yearly visits.

Wonderful practice! Very clean, professional, and the entire staff is friendly and great with kids. I just took my girls last week, once they re-opened after COVID19, and I was impressed with their new rules and regulations. They took every single precaution necessary to make sure that we all felt safe. For anyone looking for a pediatric dental office, I highly recommend Haring!

Would not recommend them based on how the office manager handled our account. In short we changed our dental plan and didn’t realize they weren’t in network. So they billed us for $312 for teeth cleaning for my kids early this year. I called insurance to find an in network dentist so that dentist can write a referral for my kids to continue to go to Haring but Covid-19 hit and the in network provider is no longer taking patients so have been waiting. But I wanted to do the right thing to pay my statement and inquire if Haring would work with us and charge us the insurance rate. The office manager said that the insurance rate is not significantly less and that I will be performing insurance fraud. I guess I don’t understand insurance fraud so might need to talk to a lawyer or someone in the field. They are getting $0 from insurance and we will be paying them the same that insurance would have paid. Thought it was a win win situation. In any rate, you’d think they would want to keep patients who have been going to them for years and never missed any payments. They could have said, we will give you 10% off for being a loyal customer and want you to come back later this year or next year after you change your dental plan. Nope, instead I had someone tell me that there’s nothing they can do because it would be illegal to give me a discount. I paid $312 over the phone and I will NEVER spend a dollar at that place nor recommend to anyone. You can find good dentists who will charge you a fair rate.

As always Dr. Haring and his staff are absolutely wonderful. My son with autisms has been going there for over 20 years and because of Dr. Haring he never went without dental care since age 3.

Just went for our 3rd visit with our daughter and had a wonderful experience as usual! She was feeling extra nervous but the dental hygienist, Jenna, was extremely patient and kind and helped her get through it (and us!). By the time Dr. Bob came to see us she was feeling better and he was great with her too. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

Dr. Haring is exceptional with children. He kept my daughter calm and collective during her visit for some first time fillings.Staff was great at accommodating all our needs. I highly recommend. Great play area while you wait as well. We will be back.

I never in a million thought I would hear...”Mom can we PLEASE go back to the dentist!”. Dr. Joel and our dental hygienist Molly were absolutely amazing with my 6, 4 and 2 year old. My 4 year old is the one quoted here and they were fantastic in managing her sensory issues (sensitive to sound and textures). They walked her through every sensation and switched up the type of fluoride after learning what works for her. Phenomenal group!

Dr. Joel was extremely responsive and helpful after hours when my son chipped his tooth. Dr. Kim took care of it the next day, and she was also wonderful. I’m happy that I found this practice. My son is almost 4, and told me tonight after he had to get his tooth buffed down that he can’t wait to go back to the dentist so they can clean his teeth!

Dr. Joel and the friendly staff at Haring Dental were so kind and accommodating to our newborn son when we discovered he was tongue tied! They squeezed us onto their busy schedule, handled the procedure with ease, called the following day, and then saw our son in office the next week to check on the healing process! We felt so at ease with Dr. Joels decision making and couldnt have been happier with the outcome! We cant wait to bring our four year old son in for a cleaning! I would highly recommend this office!

Wonderful experience from the moment we called and scheduled the appointment! Lots of fun things for kids to do including a game room and indoor play center. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. We were treated kindly by everyone we came in contact with. My son absolutely loved his visit and Dr. Bob was great. I only wish they would accept adults! :)

The offices waiting room is always a great way to start the visit. Our hygienist was wonderful and during the wait time between cleaning and seeing the dentist, she was great at helping to keep my 4 year old occupied and made the experience that much more enjoyable. My daughter asked to go back the next day!

My daughter has trouble sitting still and the dental hygienist and dentist are always very patient and caring toward her. She also loves the indoor play area and video games that she can play before each appointment. Highly recommend!

Dr. Joel is amazing! Having sensory needs, my son responds so well to Dr. Joels genuinely calm, understanding and patient ways. The first time we went in, Dr. Joel collaborated with us in coming up with techniques that made it NO BIG DEAL to go to the dentist! Even having multiple cavities worked on was a good experience (well, as good as that can get)! We are SO glad and relieved to have been referred to Dr. Harings office!

Not my favorite—it seemed like my kids always needed an in depth procedure. Experience at our new practice is different. Teeth are always fine or small cavity in a baby tooth that they say will fall out before we need to do anything. Definitely a nice building with nice doctors and I am not a dentist but I would try a second opinion if your constantly being told things are needed.

I took my 3 year old to Haring Pediatric Dental for her first ever dental visit. I was completely dreading it and was expecting the worst, but it couldnt have gone better. The waiting room has a very nice play area for kids and the staff is so friendly. The dental hygienist and Dr. Joel were great and kept my daughter at ease. They even got out a giant teddy bear, took her picture with it, and framed it for her first ever visit. When we left, my daughter asked if we could go back the next day!

As usual, our experience was outstanding. We have been going to Haring Pediatric for almost 15 years. When they were young, everyone did everything to make my boys feel comfortable. Now that they are older (16 and 18) they converse with them, laugh with them and still make them feel comfortable. Dr. Bob is outstanding and all the dental hygienists are wonderful!

The absolute best pediatric dental office. Everyone is friendly, polite, and they care about your child. They go out of their way to make sure everyone is as comfortable as possible during their procedure.

We really enjoyed our visits to Dr Harings office. He is extremely nice and patient, my son did really well as a almost 3 year old. The facility is very nice and kids friendly. We will be keep going there for our followup appointments.

I took my son to Haring Pediatric Dental for his first ever dental appointment and was SO impressed. All the staff were courteous and professional and they were great with my son who was a bit nervous about laying down in the chair and having them work in his mouth. They were quick and gentle. The office itself is the most incredible office I have ever seen with very nice decor and So much stuff for the kids! They have a sunken ship playroom that my son, now days later, has asked to go back to play there. They also have a kids sink and urinal in the restroom that my son was very excited about. That will seem silly if you dont have a son, but my son thought that was the best! 😄 Anyway, I am so glad we picked Haring Pediatric Dental! Also, my husband went to Dr. Haring when he was a little kid, so we know he does great work!

Our daughter started at Haring Pediatric at the age of 2. Piper loves Ms. Darlene and enjoys her time with her. The office staff is welcoming, the playspace is a great way to keep her active before the appointment, and the TV keeps her occupied during the visit. My daughter has been treated wonderful, everyone we have had has been caring, understanding, and so calming for our 3 year old. We have seen 2 different doctors and both have made her feel special and the hygienist have a way to make getting work done on your teeth enjoyable. The toys in the waiting room are a bonus!

We had our first visit with Dr. Joel today. Past experiences have not been great with other dentists but Dr. Joel was fun and friendly from start to finish. He kept my anxious child calm and took his time with her. We’re excited to see him again and plan on going early to play with all the games. Great atmosphere and welcoming staff!

My son was not interested in having his teeth cleaned. We waited for Dr. Joel thinking at least he could have an exam. Dr. Joel came in and made my son so comfortable we were able to complete a full cleaning and exam. They were wonderful and patient.

Dr. Joel was good and nice. However, we werent told that we were not seeing Dr. Haring. I understand that the practice is growing. Our pediatricians office is growing too. Once we had to schedule an appointment with our pediatrician who has been our pediatrician for 14 years and the only available doctor was the new doctor. We went ahead and love the new doctor too! Dr. Joel was nice and great with my son but we dont like not being told ahead of time. We switched practice to Dr. Haring because my children likes Dr. Haring and because he came highly recommended by our friends. I think patient should be able to choose when they schedule an appointment which dentist to see.

We ADORE Dr. Bob...we have been with him for 20 years, and that is hard to believe that my oldest is a sophomore in college.😢Yesterday Dr. Bob did my middle son’s cleaning! That was a nice change, even though we love all the hygienists, it was wonderful to have a few more minutes to chat with Dr. Bob. We have never had a negative experience with anyone or anything and we highly recommend Haring Pediatric Dental!

Fast, friendly, and gentle. They made my 3.5 year old feel very comfortable during her first trip to the dentist by explaining what they were going to do and letting her see and feel the tools before they started. She loved playing in the lobby before her appointment. Highly recommended.

Dr. Joel is very kid friendly and great with them. It is difficult to get appointments, especially if you have two kids you want seen back to back. The play areas make it a really fun trip for the kids.

Dr. Haring has been taking care of my kids dental health for about 9 years now and weve always had good experiences there. Appointments are always on time and Dr. Haring and the whole staff are very gentle with the kids. They are not inexpensive, but they do take Care Credit and the services and the fact that the kids arent scare to go to the dentist makes it worth it to me.

We have been taking our children to Haring Pediatric Dental for years. Our son has autism and they have been wonderful with him! Both kids love going and playing games in the game room while they are waiting to go back. The staff is helpful and the dentists are knowledgeable and thorough. I highly recommend this practice!

The staff here is nice to your face, but I wouldnt go here without making sure your insurance is in-network. Dont rely on their staff to tell you, even if you specifically ask. Very deceptive and non-forthcoming with important information. But they will make sure to charge you significantly higher then deemed appropriate by your insurance company. So yes, I would recommend this place if you enjoy smiling faces ripping you off.

I had initially scheduled an initial patient visit for both of my daughters, however one of them was having issues, so I called and explained the situation and they were able to work us in to get an earlier appointment for her this week. She was a little nervous, but as soon as we got to the office she was immediately comfortable with the play area and the video games. Dr. Joel was extremely friendly to her and explained all the procedures and treatment options. My daughter thought the sunglasses and cartoons she was able to watch during the procedure were really cool and said that everything didnt hurt too bad. Everyone was extremely friendly and explained all of the costs and told me what we would expect to pay at every visit. So helpful! Thank you!!!

A great experience at every point from the check in process to the staff to the incredibly inviting facility (our boys wanted to stay and play in the waiting room even after our visit was complete!). We saw Dr Nick who was incredible with our kids. The staff seems to respect each other and have a great dynamic. Highly recommend!

Dr. Haring does a fantastic job with my youngest boy (who can be difficult in the chair). I am always please how efficient the staff is. We are never there very long. The waiting room play area is unmatched in Columbus with its arcade and play structure. The rooms are open and clean.

My 9 year old special needs son had his routine cleaning appointment yesterday and as always they did a wonderful job! The hygienist are fantastic and very knowledgeable of how to handle my little guy. They value my time as much as their own and to my son’s delight our appointment was over in no time. This allowed him more time to play in the game room (we got there nearly 45 minutes early just so he could enjoy the “wait”). Very highly recommend this office.

I called the hygienist before my sons appointment to talk about his considerable anxiety. I mentioned some key phrases to avoid and the best way to approach correcting any bad habits. Lindsay listened thoughtfully, and she mentioned that she still had notes in my sons folder from his most recent appointment, which I really appreciated. I also appreciated the smile on my sons face when he had successfully completed his cleaning!
