I suffered a 5th metatarsal fracture (Jones Fracture) in late 2018. After wearing a boot for 6-weeks, all seem well and then it broke again. I had to have surgery to have a plate installed. 6-mos later the bone broke again and caused the plate to fail. I then had to have another surgery to remove the broken plate, have a small bone graft and install a new plate. That lasted almost a year before that plate broke. I then looked for a specialist.Dr. Trask Muir at Peak Ortho knew right away that my injury wouldnt heal and slapping another plate and screws in would only lead to reinjury. I was a bit hesitant when he suggested complete reconstruction of the foot to modify my stance, but my only other option was living with pain and disability.Dr. Muir started by repairing the damaged part of the 5th metatarsal with a bone graft from my hip and installing a new plate. He then lowered my arch and moved my heel outward by 8mm. This corrected my high arch and forced my foot to sit level and more planted. The end result is the weight on my foot is now transmitted across the entire foot instead of just the outside edge. The results so far are amazing. The x-rays show more significant healing than the previous two surgeries.Dr. Muir and his team are my heroes!

I have now seen 50% of the doctors in this clinic and they are all fantastic! Dr. Amundsen did my knee replacements--no problems or complaints. He talked to me intelligently and listened to me intently. He is awesome. Highly recommend him. Dr. Muir treated a minor foot problem with no complaints from me. Dr. Mackey is treating my elderly (88 yrs old!) mothers broken finger with compassion and patience. I would not hesitate to recommend any of these great professionals.

A hip revision after 20 years....my doctor could not project more competence...explained the procedure and the steps to prepare for the operation.I am looking forward to the operation.

I have been seeing Dr Charles Marshall for a long time for many issues I have had, he is one of the kindest doctors I have ever seen. He always remembers you and makes you feel he cares. He is a very awesome surgeon. I have recommended him to numerous people my sister; niece and he has treated my husband. They all feel the same way I do. This is a great group of physicians.

Recently, 7-9-2021, had arthroscopic repair of my left shoulder. Excellent facilities, highly professional and talented specialists, (Dr Marshall) PA -(Scott) very attentive practice staff and great nursing made this surgery go by without incident or worry. I can Highly recommend Peak Ortho.

Dr. Beck is phenomenal! He was so patient and understanding with my 13 year old daughter (acl tear and reconstruction). I would recommend him to anyone, but I would say to any parent that is looking for an ortho md for their child... that this is the md you want! The Peak Orthopedics staff is also terrific. They are quick to respond to phone calls and attentive/friendly in the office. Could not have been more pleased with the experience!

We moved to Utah two years ago and had to start all over with new health care providers. I couldnt be more please with the professionalism and excellent bedside manner of Dr. Beck and his staff. After much procrastination on my part I made an appointment to see Dr. Beck about some knee issues. I injured and elbow during work out. It kept me from my sleep and routine. Called and was seen the next day. Great service and care, Doc and medical staff where clear and concise. After meet with Sports Training received some alternative exercise options to keep injury at a minimum and then back on schedule!

I was originally scheduled with another doctor in the office, but was immediately rescheduled with Dr. Marshall who is more familiar with my orthopedic needs. I did have to wait a bit longer, but well worth it! Very knowledgeable and professional! Explained all aspects of surgery, rehabilitation, and insurance coverage. He has a great support team in Dr. Scott and Ms. Tori. Highly recommend Peak Orthopedics!

Friendly and helpful staff. I didnt have to wait for more than 5 minutes before I was taken back to the room. Dr. Muir was very attentive and demonstrated competent surgery skills. I would go back to see him again if needed.

Dr Mackey has performed surgery on both my thumbs along with carpal tunnel surgery with great success!! He has a fabulous bed side manner, makes you understand your injury and fully explains your options for improvement. The office staff is awesome as well!(2 thumbs up from me. 👍🏻👍🏻)

I was extremely impressed with Dr. Mackey and his entire staff. I went to him for a second opinion about both of my hands. My original Dr. didnt give me any options, except fusion on my right wrist and surgery on my left. Dr. Mackey and his staff were SO good, so informative and gave me several more options. I am over the moon!

Dr. Muir couldnt have been any greater. He takes time to explain things and doesnt push surgery right off the bat-like other orthopods are known to do. Hes got a great bedside personality and is pretty funny. Great patient/doctor interaction. If I end up needed surgery, I wont hesitate or worry to have Dr. Muir take care of me.

Dr. Andrea Matich has got to be the nicest, calmest, gentlest Dr. I have ever known. And believe me I have met plenty in my lifetime. I was in to see her last week so she could drain fluid off my knee and then inject gel into it. I never felt anything, not on the other side either.

This professional group most definitely is on top of its game. Dr. Beck, Dr. Amundsen exude nothing but excellence, knowledge, compassion and experience galore!

I called to schedule an appointment was told to come in at Thursday 1015. Show up that day and was told my appointment was at 915 and I would have to come back next week. They didn’t bother to call me an ask where I was or give me a reminder call like most other places due. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else then here.

I had my surgery out of state. I called other Drs and none would take me. I am so grateful Dr Muir agreed to see me. He was very informative about my care, and made me feel I was included in planning my further care. The staff was great to.

The waiting room was TOO crowded for Covid conditions. One family of four accompanied a youngster and they planned their shopping while waiting. My wait was 30 minutes, although I was assured that the doctor will be right with you) when I asked. At my other doctors offices non-essential family is told to wait in the car and , if your appointment is not ready, you are asked to wait in your car. When I brought this to the attention of the doctor and staff they said that the waiting room is too small for a practice of 4 doctors. When I pointed out the unnecessary people, they said that there was nothing they could do. I would avoid this practice until LONG AFTER the vaccine arrives.

They called me to come in an hour and a half early just to make me wait that hour and a half plus 3 more hours past my ariginal schedule time. Doctors and nurses however where all great the surgery even though it was a special out of the ordinary surgery it went great. Very professional and very good surgeons.

I have had great experiences with Dr Dennis Hamp at this office. The office is efficient, I never have to wait more than 10 mins and Dr Hamps assistants are professional & friendly. Overall as good an experience as you could have at the Drs office.

Dr. Matich was wonderful. The Cortisone shot last time lasted almost 6 months. 🙂The wait time in the waiting room was too long. The wait time in the doctors office was way too long.They need magazines in their waiting room.
