I was so happy with the results I got while working with David Johns on my health program. What I am more excited about, though, is that I feel like I now have the knowledge and plans to continue to live a healthy lifestyle on my own. I started with Total Health and Fitness 14-years, and 80lbs ago!When I started, I couldnt run a quarter of a mile, never had a real eating plan, and had never lifted weights. I lost 60lbs in a few months time working with TH&F.Since then, I have been pretty much managing myself using the concepts I learned from them. Over that time, I have trended down another 20lbs. More important than the weight, I feel fit, trim, and healthy. I have worked with David Johns off and on at Total Health and Fitness for several years now. All of the employees there really know their stuff and have helped me dial in my diet for great results. Best thing is they base it on foods you like and is easy to maintain. Its not only for those who are out of shape either. I’m in great shape, but occasionally need to get myself back on track and have some accountability and Total Health and Fitness is the best I’ve found for helping me do this. I would recommend them for anyone trying to improve their overall health or fitness level...beginner to advanced!

I loved my experience at Total Health and Fitness! My consultant, Jamie, was both professional and personal. She had high expectations then cheered me on to help me exceed my fitness goals. I learned so much about exercise and nutrition and was amazed at the consistent results that came from following my personalized exercise and nutrition plan. I loved that the recipes were simple and delicious and were made by fresh ingredients I could find at the grocery store. Total Health and Fitness is one-of-a-kind. I can honestly say this is a program that really works and the fact that they hold your hand and motivate you through every step makes it very easy to reach your goals. My favorite part of the program is that you eat normal food and dont feel like you are dieting at all. Im so much more confident when i go to the gym because I actually know what Im doing. The custom workouts, supplements and nutrition program is based on your body composition, so say good bye to your scale. The individualized attention really is top notch!The environment is friendly, welcoming and upbeat. My consultant Jason was very professional, educated and motivational. Wes @ total health and fitness helped me achieve my goals in 6 months that I tried through personal trainers alone for years and on my own for decades. The program really does work. Customized meal plans with real food that you actually can and like to eat. Customized exercise plans and weekly personal training and most importantly the accountability of the program. Very affordable. The program does get a person the results of both muscle gain and weight loss and most important they are sustainable once you complete the program. It is a true life style changing program.

I have absolutely loved my experience with Total Health and Fitness! Zach Miller was my trainer and I couldnt have asked for someone better for me. He understood my issues and helped me work through them. I have had three back surgeries in the past seven years and was there for terrified to lift weights. Zach helped me know and understand the proper way to lift so I would be safe. He changed my life! I went from 32% body fat to 17%! He now trains my wife, sister, brother and sister-in-law. I would recommend Zach and Total health and fitness to anyone!

This is a great atmosphere for women and men that want to get in shape but dont want to go to a commercialized gym. Ive spent hundreds of dollars at gyms with no positive results.With TH&F Ive seemed great results and I enjoy the one on one personalized training that and a do-able weekly meal plan.All the staff is friendly and know you by your name. I worked with Jason Manchego. He helped push me in my work outs and helped me see how strong I could be. He also help adjust my diet to include things to satisfy my sweet tooth. It has been a year since I have been through the program and I managed to keep 15 lbs off. I hope to sign up soon so I can get the extra help to get off another 15 lbs. I am glad I joined and hope to do it again!

This is by far, the best thing I have EVER done for myself! Anjee was AMAZING!!!! She has so much knowledge regarding diet & fitness and was vital to our success! Maria is like a knowledgeable big sister during the process, encouraging and positive, but willing to call me out when I wasnt on plan.Their new plans include personal training and supplements, which are much cheaper than anywhere else I have found. My experience with Tayla at Total Health and Fitness has absolutely exceeded my expectations. Ive lost and gained weight SO many times throughout life mainly because I had a horrible relationship with food. I would go through cycles of starving/depriving myself, workout a ton, and be SO hungry that I ate everything in sight. Tayla made me a plan where I didnt ever feel deprived, yet I still lost the weight, which was a concept that I never understood. I truly feel confident enough to say that I wont get trapped in that cycle anymore.Shes willing to work with any diet/lifestyle. I was worried that I would by signing up for a nutritionist Id have to swap out all of my favorite foods, but I was so wrong, she makes it work. I also hate cooking and Tayla catered to my needs by finding the most simple meals.During my time with Tayla, Ive grown so much. We were able to fix the underlying problem and then the rest just fell in place. My quality of life has gone through the roof. She not only helped me reach my fitness goals, but she also taught me and gave me all the tools to stay looking/feeling great after my program ended. I gained my weight over 10 years ago, and I have tried everything to loose my weight and then some but was unable to loose the weight. I heard about Total Health and Fitness watching Good Things Utah and with the many trips down to Salt Lake with my parents for medical appointments I decided to schedule a free consult with David Johns. On August 18, 2015 I signed the contract that changed my life for the better. My first weigh in was at 192 but on the day I signed the contract I weighed in at 195. Friday, February 5, 2016 (my last appointment) I weighed in at 151, granted I didnt reach my goal of 130 but I lost 44#s and 37 inchs in 6 months. I have chosen to finish my weight loss on my own and feel confident with the plan that David set up for me, I will reach my goal quickly.David Johns listened to my concerns of how my body felt when I ate, which were bloating, and abdominal pain. David also listened when I was hitting my hard and difficult times such as the death of my father and my demons of an eating disorder (anorexia). My mind would tell me that the only way I could ever lose the weight was starving myself, it worked once it can again. David explained to me how important it was to eat and exercise to lose the weight. My weight fell off extremely fast, sometimes faster than normal. With in the first month I lost 10.7#s.If you follow the nutrition and exercise plan you will succeed, I promise.I will turn 49 in March and you hear that once you hit your 40s and or 50s it is hard to loose the weight and you lose muscle, I have lost the weight and gained muscle in the process.The decision for me to sign that contract on August 18th was the best thing I did for myself and I have my future to look forward to.I great big THANK YOU to David Johns, you are awesome.

I got out of the routine and couldnt bring myself to walk into a gym anymore. With personalized gym plans, I got into a habit of going and now cant imagine missing as much as I did before. Working with Bailee truly could not have been better. She was upfront and honest with me from the start and educated me every step of the way to make sure I was capable of managing my weight on my own upon completing the process. Bailee became a friend to me over the course of my 6 month program and kept me accountable to help me reach my goals (I lost 10% body fat and 6 in of my waist!). As a vegetarian, I was nervous about the meal plans being bland, but they never were. She always gave me meal plans that I enjoyed and gave me workouts that pushed me to build a better body. I was so happy with my results and so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet and work with Bailee!

The staff is great, but the program did not work for me. I followed the meal plans and workout plans but did not lose any weight. The only reason Im leaving a bad review is because I asked for a refund for my remaining weeks and I was told I could not have a refund. I did not want a refund for what I already used, just what was left which I believe was 4 weeks. I am left paying for something that didnt work for me :-(

I loved working with my coach and all that I learned. However after spending $1600.O0 you no longer have access to your meal plans and workouts. Very disappointing that in order to keep going you will need to go in once a month and spend more money. It is really great to have internet access to your plans and workouts to keep going. This is the best money Ive ever spent. I put myself first and because I did Im a whole new person. Ive learned so much; Ive learned how to eat proplery without starving! Working with Jaime has been life changing! She knows how to work with endurance athletes. She helped me drop from 26% body fat down to 18 % while training heavy for Ironman Oceanside 70.3. I learned how to have a healthy relationship with food, and finally solved the puzzle of how to eat to perform. Jaime would dial my calories in based on my training schedule for the week, and gave me strategies for being successful fueling during long workouts. I learned how to keep my metabolism reved, and I get to eat a lot of food. I used to think I had to starve myself to be thin. I had a real fear of food before I started this program. I am so grateful for this program. It gave me the tools to know how to eat healthy for life. This program is worth every penny! I had a great experience with Total Health and Fitness. At 59 years old, running was not enough to keep my weight where I wanted it. With the help of Bailee, I was educated on the proper food combinations to eat daily. Coupled with eating, Bailee taught me to keep my heart rate in the fat burning zone and to build up the necessary muscles to strengthen me as a runner. It was hard work but a great experience.
