My hair has never looked so good. I see Leah Hamlett at rooted Aveda in Draper and she never lets me down. I have come in here with home haircuts, bad box dye jobs and she fixes me up everytime and makes me feel amazing when I leave. I highly recommend Leah to anyone needing a solid, long term stylist and friend… she’s amazing. Thank you Leah!!!!

When Leah did my hair I started to tell her how I like my hair thinned out and she completely cut me off and said I have my own way of thinning it out. I said I completely understand but while I was telling her that I like it thinned out underneath she cut me off and said I do it the way I want in a firm voice! She also kept on me about cutting some of the back of it off because it was bugging her! She thinned very little out and it looks like I now have layers which is not what I wanted at all. Very dissatisfied.

I am so happy with my service! I came in with box dye, bleached chunks, and hot pink in my hair. I hadn’t gone to a professional in years. Natalie & Em completely transformed my hair with a cut and color. My hair feels so healthy now and looks awesome. I cannot thank them enough for their time, care, and genuine honesty. (If you see this review guys, I got the job! All thanks to the both of you) I will definitely be coming back to maintain my hair.

I got my hair cut today by Leah Hamlett, and I cant not leave a review raving about my experience. I am absolutely and totally in love with my hair, and I am even more in love with the experience of getting my hair cut by Leah. Leah is amazing at what she does, and she also made the experience of getting my hair cut so fun and freeing. I have always had long hair, and came in wanting to go the shortest Ive ever gone. Leah looked at my inspiration pictures and created a style that pulled the best of them in with what would be most flattering to my face and hair texture. She was so positive and joyful the entire time. I will absolutely be coming back to see her again. The price was excellent for the cut, and incredible given the wonderful customer service I was shown. Everyone there was so kind, and as someone who has had some not so awesome hair cuts before, I left with the biggest grin on my face. I am so glad I took a chance on a new stylist and salon. I have never loved my hair more!

Leah did an amazing job on my highlights and cut. My hair looks so much naturally brighter! She is extremely experienced and knew exactly what I wanted and made it happen. She is also so friendly and fun to talk to. :) I will definitely be back.

I actually really like the way my hair turned out. Leah Hamlet did a cut and color weave. It was a bit expensive, albeit I have long hair, but the color combined with the long layers and curtain bangs added dimensions that Im completely happy with. Ill be returning for touch-ups for sure.

Alexis did my hair this morning, and it looks absolutely fabulous! She really took the time and effort to make my hair look amazing. It feels so soft and healthy as well! I really recommend her work. Ive been here before. I love the atmosphere and the products they use. I didnt really love my result last time with my last stylist. But this time I had Stevie as my stylist and she did exactly what I wanted and even more. She had amazing recommendations and her care and service was above expectation. With me being 8 months pregnant and absolutely hating my hair before, I was truly cared for the entire time and absolutely adored the end results of my hair. 10/10 recommend Aveda and Stevie.

Cute salon with clean lines and fun name consistent with Aveda. Friendly staff and I was surprisingly able to get a last minute appt to apply my own formula. That’s one of my favorite things about Aveda is that I can google any Aveda salon when I travel and, with my formula, can get exactly what I want, guaranteed!Ashley was fabulous!!

Annie was FANTASTIC!!! She touched up my (way too grown out) roots and matched them perfectly with my hair color while still making it look super natural how I like it. She also gave me a lovely trim, getting rid of all my split ends, while being very personable! Highly recommend seeing her!

I’m pretty disappointed overall with my experience here. I received a text 30 min before my appointment informing me that my appointment would be pushed back 30 minutes. When I got there my stylist rushed through cutting my hair so she could finish with her previous client. The whole things was so rushed and thoughtless that I had a gallon of product in my hair and it felt awful the next day.If that wasn’t bad enough I was over charged when I paid. I had bought product so I thought that would be why I was charged so much. Turns out I was charged for services I didn’t receive. I had to go back and ask them to fix it and they told me to wait till they fished with getting payment from another client. I’m not sure why 2 people needed to help one client pay, but I was patient and waited. They had to void the charge and asked me to call them when the transaction was cancelled and then I would be charge the correct amount. BUT they texted me a few days later to let me know they charged me AGAIN so I had almost $300 in pending charges and I don’t understand why they said to wait until the first charge to fell off when they weren’t willing to do that. The money from the first charge is still unavailable to me and from beginning to end I was not treated like a valued customer.

Kellie did full blonde highlights/ custom color and it was amazing. I let her do her thing because I could tell from the moment she started talking about things how passionate she was about her craft and how she just wanted to make you feel amazing! She showed such knowledge and expertise and has a glowing personality. Would absolutely recommend!

Danielle is an amazing stylist. She did a fantastic job on my hair and made the entire experience comfortable from beginning to end. I ordered a fashion color. Purple, orange, and red. It came out incredible. After the job she did, I dont think I can be willing to let anyone else touch my hair again. The customer service was great and the overall atmosphere was quiet and calm. Loved my first experience at Rooted Aveda. Went in yesterday for a cut and color with Stevie. She was able to take my unclear description of what I have had and what I wanted to change and turned it into a haircut and color that I absolutely love! I don’t know why in the world I didn’t come here sooner, but I honestly love this place. This is the second time I’ve come in and I’ve been so impressed by the results. My stylist Stevie was AMAZING! She was super nice, professional, accommodating, and did everything I wanted for my hair and beyond. I came in to fix an at home box dye gone wrong (I know, I know... I should have learned my lesson) plus change it up a little from what it originally was colored and she did an impeccable job. I visited Rooted Aveda for the first time today. I was scheduled with Stevie who specializes in curly cuts. I was a bit nervous to have my hair cut for my curly hair but Stevie was INCREDIBLE. She listened to my concerns and gave me the exact cut I wanted. I am obsessed with my new hair and will for sure be returning!

Stevie rescued my hair from the sad state it was in this morning, which was quite the feat, lemme tell you. Not only that, but she also expertly blended my roots in order to avoid the beyond awkward growth line I had, allowing my hair to require much less upkeep. Yay!!! Had a fantastic experience at Rooted Aveda. Chantelle was my stylist and she did an amazing job with the consultation and color/cut. It had been over a year since my last cut and color and given COVID and my traveling lifestyle, she recommended a shape and style that would lend towards minimum maintenance. The result was beautiful and just what I wanted. I so enjoyed Chantelle’s skills that I immediately booked an appointment for my daughter too.

I’m honestly super disappointed. I’ve heard only good things about Aveda but I had the worst service I have ever had in my life. It took 5.5 hours just to get simple highlights in my hair... The stylist was more interested in chatting with me than working on my hair. She would forget that I was in her chair. And I didn’t even get the color I wanted. Not enough toner at all. The stylist did what she wanted, not what I wanted, even when I was very specific. Which I was disappointed in because I have only heard the exact opposite. Just because they have good smelling and high end products, doesn’t mean all of the stylists know what they are doing. I really wish they would give me a redo. :(

A couple of weeks ago I got halo extensions for my wedding and my hair stylist did absolutely nothing to have it match my hair. So I decided to go to a new location. I had Danielle and Brittney look at my hair extensions and figure out how to fix it. Let’s just say I am SO PLEASED with the results. Thank you thank you thank you. It’s blended so well and looks like my natural color (which is hard to match when you are naturally strawberry blonde)

This was a very unfortunate experience. I went in for a TRIM and a style and the hair stylist took off WAY more than just a trim. I have naturally curly hair and ANY hair stylist should know you NEVER cut it dry. It looked positively awful. I asked for them to fix it. They did and it was re-shaped. But I still just cant do anything with it that doesnt look bad. It is just SO short! The manager called to see if it was a better experience, and, albeit, it was, but not by much. I will not be coming back and I hope my hair grows fast.

Everybody was super nice. Ashley is awesome! Very friendly, fun and super patience. She cut my hair, next day I realized that my hair was still too long, so I called and she had no problem to cut it again. Because of that I decided to have some highlights done and I was afraid since I have never done my hair here is USA. I always waited to go to Argentina to do something on my hair. But now I know that I can trust Ashley with my hair. She did an excellent job. She sat with me and she understood exactly what I wanted. I totally recommend her but please don’t keep her too busy because she became my new hair stylist :)

The atmosphere at Rooted is warm and clean. When you walk in there is always someone friendly to greet you. The quality of hair cut is unmatched. Paige is my hair stylist, she is always goes the extra mile to make me comfortable and give me the best haircut experience you can get. You wont be disappointed with this hair stylist or the salon!

I love going to Paige. She is very skilled in both coloring and cutting which is hard to find. I have short hair, and she does a razor cut which always turns out great regardless of whatever changes I request. I wanted to back off coloring my hair and let my natural white and salt and pepper grey grow in. She bleached out the color to a platinum and now I only have to color it every three months versus every five weeks!

Im so happy with my recent visit to Rooted. Tacee cut and colored my hair perfectly and it turned out exactly how I hoped. The salon is clean and relaxing. They also have a full line of product available to purchase with lots of options for different hair types and needs. Will definitely be coming back!

Some days I know exactly what I want and Ellie makes it possible - other days, I have no clue and want to shake things up a bit and Ellie is always there with recommendations to keep me from doing anything I might regret later. I love that she will offer styling and product suggestions. The personal touch is amazing and the hand massage is to die for!!

Katherine cuts and colors my hair. She is knowledgeable, has great customer service skills, and is the perfect blend of listening and offering the right advice for your hair type. She is also very collaborative with the other team members. For example, connects me to Lindsey when I ask a facial question. Both of them know their products so well. They clearly arent just trying to sell you something; they are looking out for your best interest. I have even had a question that they felt would be best answered by the owner, and she is amazing too. The atmosphere is both down to earth and relaxing at the same time. I would never go anywhere else.

I received a gift certificate for a 60 minute facial. It was the most relaxing 60 minutes of my life! Lindsey was so professional and just a complete sweetheart. She was very knowledgeable about the products and made sure to ask me what problems I had with my skin beforehand so that she could customize the facial to my skins needs. I left with some great samples and beautiful skin! I will definitely be coming back and will also use this as a go-to gift for friends and family.
