I have been to this salon twice and have had a different stylist each time. I am so please with the friendly and inclusive service. The stylists who have helped me are knowledgeable and do a phenomenal job. They do a better job than the fancy and expensive hair salons I have been to. Do yourself a favor and come get your hair done here for less. You will walk out feeling good about your hair.

The stylist there did A HORRIBLE job doing my roots. Even though I gave her the number of the color she should use, my roots turned out a weird blondish-copper color and you can totally see the line where she covered my gray (Im brunette). Her co-worker said that it matched (what ELSE would she say??), but when I went to get a pedicure next door, I asked the opinion of two ladies and they both said they could see the line where she did my roots. I left the salon without paying, which Ive never done before. I didnt even trust her to try to fix it. There was only one other person in the salon, so that should have been a hint that they dont get much business. Understandably so.

Best hair place ever!! There really nice, inside it’s so pretty. Really wroth the money!!! For kids 15$ and for adults 25$ about anything else I don’t know but I recommend it.

So my daughter made a appointment for my birthday and she’s doing her hair we are currently sitting in the salon my daughters engagement is in two days she asked for her hair to be done she told her $65 tham went up to $80 in 6 min .she put the dye on her hair and said I’ll be back to Wipe off the die off her face..lady that is doing my hair had to yell for Andrea more than six times to my daughter, say my God I totally blanked out🤦🏻‍♀️ My daughter asked her a couple of questions and she just got a blank stare… I really want to walk out but I currently have dye in my hair I would not suggest for anyone not to come here!!!!

Here and liked the service and came back to do a haircut and color. And the manager cut my hair,,I told her to just tream my bangs because I want to keep them long but she cut them to to short to where I got mad and told her off ,,she had the nerve to tell me that theyll grow back,,oh my hell,,its been three months and they havent I will never go there again

I’ve been here before and loved it, got beautiful silver hair exactly how I wanted. However when I went today to the SAME exact person, Miguel, he destroyed the color of my hair. I just wanted the silver refreshed a bit and some soft blue hue highlights. He completely ignored me, and when I told him that it wasn’t AT ALL what I asked for he said he’d fix it, and didn’t even come close. It seemed all he cared about was doing it how HE wanted and finishing so he could go home. Didn’t seem apologetic whatsoever, just said I could come back in a WEEK to bleach it. He didn’t even try to do my hair how I asked, even when he “fixed” it. He ASSURED me he could do this hair color, I triple checked that it was do-able but when the foil came off I nearly bawled. This place is extremely hit or miss, and I wouldn’t risk it, they couldn’t even do a simple balayage on my mom. Charged her $100 for literally nothing, she walked out looking the same as when she walked in. Both of these instances were the same day. I CANT GO TO WORK BECAUSE OF HOW MY HAIR LOOKS. It is so damaged I’m afraid to fix it, and who knows how much the damage repair will be. I cried so hard when I left, I’ve never felt so ugly. The pretty pic is what I wanted and what I showed Miguel, the others are what I got.

I have been here 3 times. The first two times Hannah cut my hair and I was very happy with the results. The most recent time I waited an hour for Hannah. When she still wasnt available after an hour, I relented and had Miguel cut my hair. As you can see, it ended up pretty terrible. He did a blunt cut with a razor all around. I had him at least taper the front a little, but was too shy and embarrassed to tell him I wanted some texture. Should I have piped up and asked him to texture it? Yeah, probably. But as a hair person, shouldnt he know what looks good and what doesnt?? I think so.

Stylist is very nice and friendly. However Unfortunately when I have been the owner just kind of lurks around on his cell phone and doesn’t help with anything so the stylist was distracted from cutting my hair every time a phone rings or someone comes in. I recommend the owner read the book “leadership and self deception” by the arbinger institute. It really helps teach great leadership that would really help the environment seem more cohesive and effective.

McKenna did an amazing job. She took the time to listen to what I asked for and help me really understand the colors. Also met the owner Rich what a great guy, he went out of his way to ask if I was being taken care of.

My Wife got her hair done and i think it looks good! I think she’s always beautiful. Thank you stylist Miguel. That said she left a lower review with some feedback to update the website more accurately etc and the owner called her aggressively over and over not leaving any voice mail until she blocked the number. On the review response she was called a liar but invited her to come back to fix it. I understand wanting to fix a situation that shines poorly on your business but If you don’t like feedback just leave a professional message and let it alone. Keep your temper in check. I am in business as well and I know reviews can be frustrating but I won’t let my pregnant wife go back to someone who can’t keep a cool head after being given feedback.

Going to Salon 21 was a positive experience. Sang was very attentive to what I wanted. She made sure I got the perfect base color and highlights. Just like I’d asked for.The other stylists working there were very nice and helpful, making my appointment very enjoyable.I’d highly recommend Salon 21. I saw a review for Robyn so i decided to trust her with my perm. I know it takes experience and enthusiasm to get through a perm and make it turn out right and Robyn had exactly that! She wrapped my hair in what i’m pretty sure is record breaking time and knew exactly how to make it turn out perfectly. First time there. Sang cut my hair. She was very personable and friendly. Shes really great and I noticed she treats her co-workers very well. She did an excellent job cutting and styling my hair. Im very impressed. I will definitely return.

I asked for a beach wave perm (the most expensive one) and got a very tight spiral perm. I’ve never had a perm, but the website boasts confidently about doing several types. The stylist was telling me how he does a lot of perms, then showed me a picture of a spiral one performed that morning. My exact words were “I’d like large loose curls”. I’m sure it was a miscommunication, the stylist worked very hard, so I tipped very generously and was polite. I NEVER SAID I LOVED IT. I said “I will play with it, and I think it will be ok” to both the owner and the stylist.Please update your website, it’s misleading and out of date from the previous owner.

I absolutely love coming into the salon to get my hair done. The people there are always so nice, and the atmosphere is really nice. When ever I go to get my hair done. Whether it be a cut, color, or wash I always leave with amazing hair that I love. Another thing that I really enjoy about this place is the things that they have inside the salon. This includes plants, sculptures,and cool art. I just really enjoy going to this place, and I will always enjoy coming to the salon. I definitely recommend this place if you are in need of a hair cut or color. As always great surface and great people.

Its so hilarious to see all these fake people leaving reviews who have never even been to Salon 21. If you really met Sang, youd know that she has integrity and is so talented at what she does! I have gone to Salon 21 since I was in high school, so at least 9 years. My boyfriend wont go anywhere else to get his hair cut. She also gave my son his first hair cut. We have never had an issue here, and if we did, Sang is very reasonable and willing to work things out with a client.I just got my hair cut from Miguel 2 days ago, while Sang cut my boyfriends hair, and he did awesome! I wanted all my dead ends cut off and he made my hair look and feel amazing! I left feeling great! The layers are perfect and frame my face nicely. Thank you Sang and Miguel!

It was good place, I liked my haircut. I’m giving 4 starts because I called to make my appointment and I still had to wait for 15-20min for my turn to come and it wasn’t even crowded. Other than that, workers are nice and you get a good service.

Me and my mother-in-law saw Robyn this past Sunday, and we’re both very happy with our color, cut and styles! She really knows what she’s doing and the experience shows in her work. Not only were we happy with our services, Robyn is kind, patient and made us laugh throughout our appointment. My stylist was friendly, simply put a REAL person. She gave me a chill haircut, rinsed out all the scragglies with some tea tree shampoo and conditioner and I thought it was a friendly atmosphere. I really like it here, and cant wait to come back in two months. $15 is worth a good haircut from an In tune stylist

I have been going to Salon 21 for more than two years. The staff is extremely friendly and highly professional and talented. They enjoy what they do and take pride in their work. I have had my hair cut by four different stylists and have been satisfied with each. Though I appreciate the hair cut, my favorite part of the experience is the wonderful scalp massage (it would be nice to have one as part of my daily routine!). The price is very reasonable making Salon 21 a welcome value each month.

Salon 21 is the best place to get your hair cut in Utah! Seriously. I have been driving from Utah County to Salon 21 for 3 or 4 years now to get my haircut. Sang does a great job on my hair and gives me the best haircuts Ive ever gotten. I have received so many compliments. I used to hate getting my hair cut because I felt it was like playing a game of Russian roulette. But Salon 21 consistently does a good job. Natasha cut my hair and she was great! Easy to talk to and she listened to exactly what I wanted which is a hard to find in a hairstylist. Good prices too the only thing is I think they need to update their decorating. Besides that its a great place.

Salon 21 is great. The staff is very attentive, skillful, and knowledgeable. I have been going there for years and cant find a better place for an executive male haircut and color. My wife also swears by their talented stylists. They are also very good with my son who is 6 years old now and previously had reservations about a haircut when he went to other salons.

I have been coming to this Salon since it was introduced to me by a friend in 2009. I regret waiting as long as I have to write this review as I have never once received a bad hair cut or bad service from the wonderful staff at Salon 21. They even once cut my hair during a power outage and it still came out perfect. If you are looking for a new Salon, I urge you to come visit Salon 21!

I got my hair permanently straightened here it took 4 1/2 hours and the service was amazing. I received constant care and even little bottles of water and snacks while I was getting my hair done. The pricing is good it doesnt hurt the wallet too much. 10/10 reccomend.

I have long thick hair and wouldnt get my hair cut for years due to bad experiences at other salons. A friend convinced me to go to Sang at Salon 21 and now I feel (and look) like a completely new person. I am constantly getting compliments on how beautiful my hair is. Ive been going there for a few years now and have had many cuts, highlights, and styles. I wont let anyone else touch my hair. Sang is magic and always does an amazing job. She knows what is best for my face shape and lifestyle and gives me exactly what I need. Definitely highly recommended!

First of all great atmosphere and workers there are very friendly plus helpful. Its hard to find a good salon that you are comfortable with. However, Ashley cuts my hair and i am really picky with my hair but I didnt have to explain myself. She knew what to do with my type of hair. I love it!

I like coming to this salon. Sang has cut my hair three times now (and two others have cut my hair here as well). She asked questions and learned what I was looking for. When I asked her for advice, she gave me very helpful advice. I will continue coming here.

The quality of service was very poor. My stylist did not do a tight weave, I went out with the same hair color that I went in. I will not go back. They charged me $85 for a weave, when I will need to go get it done again in a few days. I do not feel like they are very experienced at all.

Called late on a Saturday and they were able to fit me in. My hairdresser (MJ) was attentive, informative and very helpful in helping me decided what to do with my unruly mane. The ends were pretty damaged and she gave me a good consult and we moved forward with the cut which turned out beautiful. The price was incredible and the service fantastic. I highly recommend this salon.

My hair was long and down to my shoulders and I was terrified of cutting it, but Sang was great! Shes not like your typical stylist. She knows what shes doing. Even if it seems like shes butchering it, shes really not. Ive gone to her a couple times now and I will continue to go.

Best walk in salon Ive ever had, and Im very very particular with who cuts my hair. The services they offer are just as good or better than a high end salon, like I use to go to. Salon 21 is friendly and remembers who you are even after the first visit. I would reccomend them for men haircuts. Youll get a cut, shampoo, 10 minute head and neck massage, hot towel, and great service.

I went with my sister when she got a hair cut. Trieu, the stylist waa super.professional and friendly. I watched him drop a couple of things and instead of continuing to use them, he immediately set them aside to be cleaned. And he helped my sister make reasonable decisions about how to cut her hair without ignoring her vision.

James is my hair stylist. James can make your hair do anything and show you how to style your new hair style.I was brave enough to trust James and get a few new hair dews and I love it.I leave Salon 21 feeling great with my new hair cut, color & style and I love it.

Gave me basically a long bowl cut. I had a picture for her to copy and everything and my hair cut looks nothing like what I wanted. She refused to go short enough (An inch above my shoulders) and left with specifically what I told her I didnt want. Gave me weird layers when I said straight across. Really did a horrible job. Maybe a good place for kids or mens cut, but came here because it was cheap, and thats exactly what I got. A cheap haircut. Rather spend $65 then have my hair botched.

Had appointment with Sang today. Went at appointment time and she was not there. Other associate asked “Didn’t she call you to reschedule?” Obviously not. He wanted me to reschedule. I said no I planned my day around this appointment! This is not a way you run a business! You might want to call and verify your associate is on sight before you go!

I went in today to see if they could do a balayage and the one guy thought that meant all around highlights... the one woman then had to explain to him a whole process on how to do ombre, which he was going to attempt for the first time on my head. And again... still not what I wanted. I got out of there so fast, you couldnt pay me to ever go back.

DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!!! I passed for a horrible experience yesterday at that place. I dont know about hair cuts but they have no experience doing highlights. I went there only to retouch my highlights ( my hair length was completely blond) i explained to the stylist 1000 times that i just wanted retouch my highlights...is that so hard to understand???? for them, yes!!!! She put bleach on all over my scalp and turned my roots completely yellow and my scalp was BURNING!!!!!!!!! I got there at 10 in the morning and stayed there until 05:00 pm ..the owner tried to fix it and got it even worse...i was blond and now i have 5 different colors in my hair...i lost a game at night because i was so sick about it and now i have sores in my scalp.... they are such incompetent and irresponsible people!!!!!

MJ did such a great job for my first visit to salon21. I have been nervous about getting a new stylist to maintain my shorter hair. She did exactly what I asked for and it takes me one minute to style it!

Ive always had success with my hair. However MJ is the only one who knows how to do eyebrows. I just got mine done and they are a complete disaster. Im very upset. Its the 3rd time thats happened with different people. But when MJ does them they turn out well.

Deceiving. The site and reviews give you the impression this place is potentially a chic, innovative, professional salon. It is very much a hodge-podge asian-esque equivalent to Supercuts. Do NOT expect anything near an Aveda salon or something posh. Though the staff are friendly, there is no sense of luxury here. They dont even dress professionally. In this profession, image DOES matter. I felt like I was walking into an authentic Chinese restaurant. They had their little children running around as though this was their second home. We should have walked out. She didnt even listen to what we requested. I think even Supercuts might have been better. Please BEWARE.
